Well, well ,well. There is a new MC in town and holy smokes what a rush! Ace is swoon worthy to the highest level. His alpha ways and how he wants to protect Erin is just amazing. I could only imagine the rush of emotions Erin experiences in this story as she discovers so much about her and her past. The way her and Ace meld together though? OH so sizzling. I think what I really loved about this one is that Fernando had you on your toes throughout because of everything that is going on! You get pulled in every direction and your mind is blown when things come out!
Overall, I am super excited and in love with this new MC. I am a HUGE Wind Dragons fan, so when I heard about this one, I was all over it. And I was soooo not disappointed. Fernando has a way with words that makes you fall into the world that she creates and you never want to leave. You will want an Ace of your own and be made an old lady. I am super excited to see what is up next in this series and the MC!
This was a cute MC-lite story. I didn't realize it was NA but was still entertained. I would say that there isn't much drama here but there actually IS, it's just sorta glossed over. If the characters would have been a bit more fleshed out then I would have bumped this up to a 4. h was spunky and wasn't afraid to go after what she wants. There was no proverbial dance between H/h. h decides she wants him and makes it immediately known. It was, dare I say, refreshing. I enjoyed the side characters very much and hope they get their own books. Solid NA read.
OMG this is the start of a new MC by Chantal Fernando.. I absolutely loved this book.. I got it off Netgalley. Chantal knows how to write MC's that's for sure.
Erin has lived her life with her mom and dad.. or so she thought. Until one day she stumbles upon a box that contains her birth certificate.. showing the man she thought was her dad.. WAS NOT! She demands to know who her real father is . So when she marches her happy little a$$ into the middle of a MC Clubhouse giving them there beloved Presidents full name and she is his daughter.. it leaves everyone stunned.
I loved Ace and Erin.. I cant wait for Knuckles and Erins cousins book!
A fantastic story from this author, I loved her other MC series and this one looks like it will be just as good. Erin was awesome, I loved her and the way she didn't take any crap from anyone. Ace was sexy and so lovable. I look forward to reading more from this series.
What a great start to The Cursed Ravens MC series. I love the Wind Dragons MC series and this one did not disappoint. Ace and Erin have great chemistry, throw in a long lost father and some intrigue...makes for a great story. My question is have we really seen the last of Dreads?
This is the first installment of a New MC series coming from this talented author, and i can assure you, it most definitely does not disappoint.
Erin is such a cool chick, speaks her mind, and takes no bull, after learning that the man who raised her isn't her real father, she is determined to track down the man her mother kept a secret from her.
Well what can i say? What a secret !!!!
Her real father is none other than the freaking President of MC Club, The Cursed Ravens. Coming from a typical picket fence and 2.1 kid family, Erin wonders if she could cope with a Biker or Bikers life. After storming into the clubhouse during a party, the first person who catches her eye is a hot sexy biker by the name of Ace and demands to see her father. Both Men are shocked, her father had also been kept in the dark about her existence, and Ace, well damn the club has a new Princess and she is out of bounds !!!!
I loved this book, i couldn't get enough. Erin had me in fits of laughter, with her attitudes, humour and a tongue with no filter !!! Ace was just goddamned hot sexy and a man that leaves you in a pool of drool!!! But i loved how Erin grew into club life, how the hesitant relationship between her and her new found father developed, and at the same time the burning attraction between Erin and Ace, was building to combust!! Ace even though a biker has strong Loyalties to his Pres and club, and is torn with his attraction to Erin, and i was left with a melted heart. It all felt so natural and real that you just can't help but get caught up in each and every page. Life or Love is never easy, but when you find the right people it sure makes everything more colorful. I can't wait for more of this series and dive in to learn more of my now new fave MC CLUB !!!!!
Every girl likes a bad boy, right? Or so I keep hearing! Chantal Fernando certainly makes a compelling case in the first novel of her new series, The Cursed Ravens MC. Now, I will start off by saying that I have read MC books before, and I often find them too much for my personal taste. There's often an undertone of violence that translates into rough sex, and that's just not my cup of tea in romance books. But while this book did get into a lot of the grittier aspects of the MC culture, it didn't let that affect what happened in the bedroom, which I liked. Yes, things were steamy, of course, so don't worry! You'll be wishing you could take an Ace of your own home with you.
Erin Moretti has been lied to her entire life, but that's all ending now. After finding out the man who raised her is not her real father, she took what little she knew and found her real father. Who is the President of a motorcycle gang called the Cursed Ravens. And in his newfound paternity, he assigns her a bodyguard named Ace, who is the sexiest man Erin has ever seen. She's the Princess of the Cursed Ravens and therefore off limits, and Ace is the player who sleeps with women but loves none of them. It's not a match either expected, but then sometimes that's how love is.
I just want to say that if any of you know of an Ace in your life who is single, grab him while you still can! And if you're taken, let me know and I'd love the opportunity to have an Ace of my very own. Seriously, ladies, this is a book boyfriend that everyone wants to have. He's kind, generous, with a good sense of humor and a protective instinct that still gives you space. What more could you ask for? Oh, did I mention he has money too? I really liked Ace from the start, and his connection with Erin was on fire! Erin started out like maybe she would be a pushover, but she quickly turned it around and showed her spitfire personality. I related to her a lot, and the way she interacted with all the club members made me want her as my "bestie" too.
This was my first book by this author, but I can tell you right now - now that I have found her, I will definitely be watching for her next book! Really fun writing style with engaging characters. Highly recommended.
**I received a free copy via NetGalley and this is my honest review.**
**4.5 Stars **
This was my first book by this author and I found it to be very enjoyable. I read Ace of Hearts in one sitting because it was so engaging.
I am a big fan of MC books in general, but I really enjoyed the story line and I absolutely adored Erin and Ace together. I liked how the big bad biker men also had a softer side in this book. I look forward to reading more from this author and hopefully future books in this series.
When Erin Dawson stumbles across her birth certificate she realizes that the life that she has lead for the last twenty years has been a lie, the man she has believed to be her father, is a replacement for her biological father. Her mother made a decision twenty years ago to keep her real father out of the picture and while that fact may sting, it also leaves her curious about the man who created her, so she sets out on a journey to find him. When she arrives at the Cursed Ravens clubhouse she instantly feels out of her element, the men look are looking at her like she is their next meal, and the women scowl at her because she is wandering into their territory. Within minutes she is circled by several big brooding bikers wanting to stake a claim on her, but before one of them has a chance to she gets whisked away by a devastatingly handsome man named Ace. Little does she know this one little encounter is about to give her everything she is after... and so much more!
There is so much to love about Ace Of Hearts, I am a sucker for biker romances, and this one spoke volumes to me, it was rich with emotion, had a little suspense to keep me intrigued, and some serious heat to curl the toes!! Within minutes of starting of it I found myself growing quite attached to the main character Erin, she was fearless, feisty, and knew how to keep the men around her on their toes at all times... the girl was downright inspiring! Then Ace came crashing into her world, and not only did the man steal her heart, but he stole mine too, he had an unexpected soft side that really sealed the deal for me. I also loved meeting all the secondary characters, I have my eye on a few of them, and cannot wait to get my hands on their stories, and get up close and personal with them! I highly recommend you take a chance on this one, it's a well crafted tale that will speak to heart and leave thoroughly satisfied!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
The author is amazing. I have read a couple of her books and been just as captivated by her writing.
Lila is an FBI Profiler, a woman with a guilty past, has more men in her life through blood, work, and steam (she doesn't do romance) and being assigned this bloody case forces her back to the place she escaped from several years ago.
She is a tough lady fighting for her place in this man's world which leaves little room for a personal life.
The grisly murders from three cities may be tied together and she is sent to find out. The question soon becomes is she tied to the murders and is she next?
The clues are parsed out slowly from backstory to the current case. Trust for those around her is called into question leaving her the only one she can depend on for complete disclosure. Every page pulls you in deeper. I'm invested and can't wait for the rest of the story.

This is part one of Chantal Fernando new M/C series. She does it again . Bang on
Hero is Ace (part of the M/C. Heroine is Erin .
Erin gets a surprise when she finds out her father is not really her father . Erin is determined to go looking for her real father. . She finds him . Her father is the president of a M/C . Erin doesn’t know how to take being part of her fathers world.
She decides to give it a go ? That is where Erin meets Ace.
Ace sees Erin but he knows that she is off limits because of who she is.
This story is mostly on Erin but it’s a fantastic 5 star read.
This is the first book in a new series that centers itself around a motorcycle gang and it's members looking for (or falling into) love. The book incorporates humor, romance, suspense, and drama into a book that you won't be able to put down. The characters are likeable (maybe not so much relatable) and the author weaves an easy to image picture. Definitely going to be on the lookout for books two and three!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...
I’m so happy we have another MC to read about from the great Chantal Fernando.
This is a brand new MC with brand new characters we have not met before. Erin, just found out her biological father is part of the Cursed Ravens MC and she decides to she has to meet him ASAP. Erin was both prepared and unprepared for what she walked into but Ace was always there to help her out.
Unfortunately, finding your long lost father is not the only big surprise in her life, apparently someone is not pleased with her sudden appearance and makes it known she is not welcome.
So much happens throughout the book and I loved every moment of it. Ace was swoon-worthy but the deal between him and Gage was very poorly handled and Erin reacted exactly as she should have.
But the best part for me was the reveal of Erin’s roommate, but I don’t want to spoil it for everyone. I’m just so happy we get a glimpse into my favorite MC.
I give this one four stars.
I liked it. The characters were fleshed out and the storylne had some grip to it.
It wasn’t the endall beall I was expecting from Chatal Fernando. Wind Dragons MC is one of my favorite books to read. But this one, I felt, was a little lackluster.
It felt very stilted. Like the book was hard to get through. I struggled to read some parts of it because it was a little slow and the conversations were a little awkward. But it was still good. The book showed growth in the characters. Especially in Ace. He changed quite a bit. And so did her dad.
The mother however was not very likable. The main character, Erin, was relate-able. I, myself, have shown anger when I probably shouldn’t have. All in all, the book was a cute and quick(ish) read for a Sunday afternoon at the beach.
I love Chantal Fernando’s MC books. There’s love, sex, humor and violence. Everything an MC romance should have. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
I love these worlds that Ms. Fernando has created (both the Wind Dragons and now the Cursed Ravens). Oh, Ace is a dream. A very fast paced story that pulls you in and will not let go until you finish it. I loved how Erin is a no-nonsense, speak your mind kind of girl. The clubhouse does not phase her nor does her father and his “family”. The tension between Ace and Erin is intense. Her relationship with her real dad is cut with a knife thick. I loved how Erin and Gage’s relationship developed over the story. Not everything can be roses. Yeah, I loved this story and look forward to the remaining characters getting their own happy endings. I do not see one planned for Gage yet but here is hoping. The only drawback for me…it was too short!!!
Erin lived her whole life thinking that the man she called “dad” was indeed her father. When she finds a birth certificate that says otherwise, she’s upset and wants to know what’s going on. Her mother was dating a man who was in an MC and when she found out she was pregnant she left him and never told him about the baby. The mom even went as far as faking a birth certificate when she got married so that Erin wouldn’t know that her step-dad wasn’t her father.
Erin’s mother tells her where to find her father and Erin heads there to confront him. She walks into a clubhouse with no problem and demands to see Gage Parker. When he finds out that he has a daughter that he never knew about he’s understandably upset but welcomes Erin with open arms. He tells all the MC members that she’s off limits to them but there’s one man that Erin can’t keep away from, and he seems to be ignoring his president’s wishes as well.
Ace isn’t prepared for Erin. He’s a lady’s man and has women around him all the time. When he sees Erin he’s pulled to her and can’t keep from wanting to be around her constantly. He’d love to keep her with him for good, but Erin has her life planned out and her college isn’t anywhere near the MC club. Erin loves being with the MC however and is surprised at how comfortable she feels around these men except when someone starts trying to hurt her. That hurts her physically, but when she finds out that her father is hiding some information from her she realizes that she doesn’t know the MC at all and she’s not sure she wants to.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked this one up. I like MC romances and this one was good. There were some things I thought were strange about the MC – their clubhouse was a house and Erin just walked right up to it with no one questioning her at all. IDK, maybe because she was a woman? It just found that strange. I also found it odd that Ace was ignoring his presidents warning to stay away from his daughter but that’s explained later in the book. I did find the attempts on her life a bit….much, but it worked in the end. The MC didn’t seem too fierce I’m sure not all of them are the same.
Ace and Erin were good together. I thought they really cute together despite the fact that one was an MC member. Ace was a sucker for Erin from almost minute one and I loved that he was so good to her.
The other men of the MC were definitely interesting and I look forward to reading more about them in the future.

ACE of Hearts is the first book in the series "The Cursed Raven Mc" and made me realize how much I was homesick for his books in the world.
To be introduced to this new world we begin with the story of Erin, a girl super fun that goes in search of your real father which is none other than the President of the Club. And there she is not just your biological father, but also a new world and the Treasurer of the Club and someone she wasn't expecting. But not everything is easy because now she is "Princess of the Club, what it means to be out of bounds to all members of the Club, including Ace.The problem? Is that both are attracted to each other and will have to decide whether to follow the President's order or risk.
As well as all the stories of this genre I loved that story. He has everything you want in a great read: romance, sex, action, alpha males, a hero fun and fashion, and the reading flows.Erin is very daring, independent, sweet, strong, and I really liked the fact that she wasn't intimidated by those bikers.Ace is already a big sexy biker, with a reputation as womanizers, but knowing he can see he is also really sweet and I loved the time, care he had with Erin during their journey.I loved the secondary characters and laughed a lot of interactions of Erin with other bikers. And I hope that other members of the Club also earn your own story.
Anyway, this book is a good start to a new series that deals with the universe of MC and makes us want to know more of the other members in addition to being a well written story with fun characters and without unnecessary drama .
I hate to say it out loud but I had almost given up on Chantal Fernando, but then she wrote Ace of Hearts and sucked me right back in. Please forgive me, Chantal. I'll never betray you like that again. Don't send the MC after me.
Ace of Hearts had the sweet but dirty alpha males we love, the mouthy but loyal heroines we want to be and all the swoon and sexual tension we need.
This was a nice start to a series. Fernando's books are on the tamer side of the MC spectrum but they make fun palate cleansers. I liked that this was a different setup, with a girl wandering into the MC world to get to know the father she has never met.. The story was a bit a jumpy and Fernando likes to tell and not show in her writing but I left ready for the next installment.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
