Laugh out Loud quirky, quick whited, emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic adventure filled with passion, understanding and heartwarming good times.

Blake Monroe is so not your average everyday anything.... she is quirky, outspoken, truthful to a fault and so unsure how to keep a relationship going. (or so she thinks) Gavin Gibson is sweet, charming, sexy and has an artistic soul that is not accepted by his family. He is also just the right kinda guy to slip under Blake's defenses and truly accept her as she is. (even adore her for her differences) They are so adorable and fun together and I also enjoyed their friends. Highly entertaining reading.

I loved this book! It wasn't my favorite of the series, but Elizabeth Hayley brought a fresh writing style to the series and I appreciate her flair.

I really enjoyed the quirky duo that is Blake and Gavin. Blake was a breathe of fresh air as a heroine and Gavin was the perfect balance to her crazy nature. This is perfect if you're looking for a quick, sexy read!

I have read several of the Misadventures books and am truly enjoying them. They are themed-style books that are quick reads. In Misadventures with My Roommate by Elizabeth Hayley we get a roommates attract story!

Blake Monroe’s life has not been an easy one, even so she likes to see the positive side if she can. She is honest to a fault and realizes she may not be the easiest person to live with. She decides rather than finding another female roommate, she will give a male roommate a chance.

Gavin Gibson sees Blake for the woman that she and is attracted to her, quirks and all. He comes from a privileged and wealthy family, but because he follows his dreams, instead of theirs, he was cut off. But he is determined to live the life he wants and not what is expected of him.

Gavin begins to really see Blake, even as she closes herself and her past off from him. But they have chemistry and he slowly breaks down her defenses. They feel a strong attraction to each other and even if Blake wants to keep things simple and easy, Gavin is anything but. Can they find a way to be together?

For a quick read, this story had a lot of heart. It was funny, sweet, heartbreaking and heartwarming. I really liked both characters, their chemistry and their journey.

Happy reading!

OMG I absolutely loved this addition to the Misadventure series! This is by far my favorite!! From the first chapter I was immediately drawn in and laughing out loud. I was eagerly devouring the words, flipping the pages, excited for what was to come.

I freaking loved Blake and her no-filter mouth. She is quirky, fun, honest, witty and at the same time guarded, hurt, and even through she doesn’t realize it - lonely and longing for love and acceptance, something she rarely experienced growing up.

Gavin is intrigued by Blake and loves all her quirks. She draws him in like no one ever has. He knows there are multiple layers to her, and wants to know each and every one. But, he’s smart and knows when to hold back and not push, hoping she will trust him and open up, revealing those layers.

Blake isn’t sure what it is about Gavin, but she finds herself confiding in him. Revealing more of herself to him than she has to anyone before. Her trust in him shocks her. What is it about him that lets her be vulnerable and makes her want him to get to know her and her truths?

I fell in love with these two and their story. I was rooting for them from the start. The wit and humor is laugh-out-loud funny. The romance is swoon-worthy and steamy as all get out in places. Blake’s history is heart-breaking and Gavin’s issues with his parents is relatable. You will cry tears of laughter, heartbreak, and heart-happy joy. She is the Yin to his Yang. A perfect example to opposites attracting, of two souls that fit together like puzzle pieces completing each other.

This is wonderful coworkers-to-roommates-to-lovers romance that is the perfect mix of slapstick funny, emotional, fun, sexy, and swoon-worthy that hits the mark.

Loved it!!!!

Blake is a bit "quirky" but Gavin shows her that there is someone for everyone and we all have baggage to deal with. We just need to find that other person that is willing to help us carry it.

First off, I loved Blake’s character, she was so uncensored, it made me laugh every time she had something to say, because you never knew what would come out of her mouth.

Blake and Gavin come from two separate worlds. After meeting at their job, Blake comes to find out that her co-worker needs a new place to live. And she has the perfect solution-move in with her now that her current roommate has left the building!

Gavin finds Blake to be adorable, yet quirky. The more he finds out about her, the more he finds himself falling for his roommate.

Blake has a lot of issues from her past, Gavin has issues with his family’s approval of him. But in the end, the issues don’t come to matter to Blake and Gavin when they find they have one thing in common–a love for each other.

This was another great book in the Misadventures series, and I can’t wait for more!

OMG!!!! I adored Blake. Her honesty and wit and vulnerability were perfect. Her and Gavin’s journey was fun to experience. I laughed-out-loud many times. It was a refreshing romance to read. Two completely regular, young people trying to get their lives in order. This book was completely relatable: from the initial interactions to the individual problems each of them had to overcome. This was yet another fabulous Misadventures romance.

I liked this book but wasn’t my favorite In the Misadventures series. It follows two baristas that become roommates and their journey to a HEA together.

Thank you Net Galley, Tour Company, Publisher and authors for an ARC of this story.

This is the story of Blake and Gavin.
co workers that become roommates and eventually more.

Blake is a bit on the weird side but I loved her. She is broken and just living her life without getting to close to anyone or so she thinks.

Gavin is a sweetheart. He is a great character who is always being put down by his parents

These two are just what the other needs. They are the missing pieces to help the other be complete and happy. This story has some pretty smoking scenes as well. Another great Misadventures story!

I have read a few books in the Misadventures books and I have really been enjoying the ones I have read so far.

I loved Misadventures with My Roommate so much and it is a very quick read so it can be read in one evening without worrying about staying up way too late at night.

I admit that I have never read any other books by Elizabeth Hayley before but after reading this short book I am interested in reading their books so I added a few books in my long books wish list.

Anyway, this story is very well written and I love the characters. This book is one I will be purchasing in hardcover in the near future because I know I will be reading it again.

I give this 5 out of 5

How many people have you met that have that “oops” filter? That ability to speak their mind unedited, and mostly get away with what comes out of their mouth?

Oh yes, that would be Blake Monroe, totally misunderstood, but so dang cute and adorable. No filter fits her output and she can back it up when challenged. So there should be no surprise when we discover she has a problem keeping a roommate.

Along comes Gavin Gibson. He works with Blake and discovers…rather suddenly… he needs a place to stay. Unknown to him, Blake needs a roommate also. So what could happen when people are pushed into situations unprepared? Oh you know the answer…Misadventures!

Elizabeth Hayley, this is my first read from you ladies and I absolutely loved it. What can best be described as opposites getting to know each other through their daily antics and a growth to more was a very enjoyable read. How the story came together and the individual realizations they each encounter was refreshing.

Thanks for all this fun, and you can rest assured I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give this.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I absolutely loved this book. This is the tenth book of the amazing Misadventure series. These two characters drew me in immediately and I couldn't help myself falling in love with them. I devoured this incredible book in only one sitting.

Blake Monroe did not have a very happy childhood. She has had a lot of heartbreak in her life. Blake works really hard to get what she needs. She knows that she doesn’t fit in and she is a little odd. Blake is tired of living with a girl so she decides to find a male roommate this time. She is instantly attracted to Gavin. Blake quickly realizes that Gavin is not the type of man she thought he was. Will her troubled past hold her back to a new furniture? Will Blake find more than just a new roommate?

Gavin Gibson loves art so much he is studying it in college. He meets the spunky Blake at work one day and he can’t stop thinking about her. Gavin is the outcast of his family because he is nothing like them. He is told by his family he needs to find somewhere else to stay. Gavin is lucky that he finds a job that he likes and also finds a new roommate, Blake. He quickly realizes that there could be more with her but does she feel the same way?

I loved this book right from the start. This story has it all hot romance, struggles, and forgiveness. The storyline will have you hooked right in the beginning. You will fall in love with these characters right from the start. Blake is very aggressive but deep down she is afraid of getting hurt again. She feels a strange connection to Gavin that she just can’t stop. Gavin is an average guy but he has a heart of gold. He is such a gentleman to Blake. The way he treats her will make you swoon. These two characters have some steamy scenes that will make your toes curl. This book had me laughing a lot from what
Blake would say. The ending will leave you in tears. This talented author wrote a perfect book to this epic series. I can’t wait to read the next adventure.

“Misadventures with My Roommate” by Elizabeth Hayley is book Ten in the "Misadventures" series. Blake had a emotional childhood that has left her with walls around her heart yet she has a quirky attitude that helps her get thru life. When her current roommate tells her she is moving out, Blake has to get a new roomie and fast. She finds one – her coworker Gavin from the coffee shop. Gavin is in a bind and needs to find a new place and fast due to his situation. So Gavin quickly jumps at the chance to be Blake’s new roommate. There is an immediate chemistry between the new roommates but Blake lets it be known she isn’t looking for any relationship, just sex and nothing more. Can Gavin show Blake he is all in and is serious about her and their relationship?
I liked the premise of the story and the characters but felt Blake came off as too harsh at times. I liked Gavin and how he reached out to Blake and their chemistry was great. I also liked the secondary characters. This is a lovely roommates to lovers story that is at times heartbreaking and other times heartwarming and sizzling.

My Rating: 4.4 stars *****
“I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book. It did take me awhile to warm up to Blake. I did find her pretty funny. Sometimes, it was refreshing how she spoke her mind but, sometimes, it could be awkward. I would recommend this book, especially if you have read the other Misadventure books. I haven’t read this author before but I will give her another read.

RELEASE DATE: MARCH 27

GOT A HOT ROOMMATE YOU WANNA BANG?

This is actually my first book from this author. Misadventures with My Roommate is an added installment to the Misadventures series from various authors that can be read as standalone.

I've already ready some of the books from this series, and while I can say I've enjoyed and even loved the others books from the get go, it took me past 3 chapters for the story to capture my interest.

Now I know I'm not a publish or something along that work, but I'm a reader. A hardcore at that. I've been dissecting books most of my life so at least I know what I'm doing, rather saying at this point. From what I've learned from people I know who publish books, the first 3 chapters of a story is quite essential and must be captivating because that's where you convince your reader that your book can get even better the middle part is where the juicy parts bursts and if you're careful enough and your story did manage not to cras and burn, then your ending is your prize to your reader.

That being said, I'm glad I did not unfinished this one, that I carry on reading because, eventually the story did get better. It then becomes quite enjoyable once I'm past the first few chapters. I find myself connectimg with the characters. Although it took a while. But I'm glad I did.

The heroine, Blake, she's quirky and blatant. She seems to be a what-you-see-is-what-you-get type of person, but really, she's not. Like everyone else, she has reservations.
She has a wall guarding her heart that was unnoticeable if you do not know her. I, myself, did not warm to her at first. She has quips that I find dumb-ish and she says weird thing out of the blue. No filter kind of girl, this Blake. But eventually, I warmed to her character. Even understand that she has weirdness in her, and that's fine with me. I think that's what the authors's trying to achieve. It was mentioned in the book that people don't understand her weirdness and it takes a lot to warm to her. The authors achieved that vibe. Fabulous.

The hero, Gavin, he's one of a kind. He's all things male, but mostly on the positive side. He's sweet, and patient, and kind, and a true gentleman. I find him endearing, really. Gavin is RARE. The author made a good combination of their lead characters by creating these two because they fit together and even the story. They're one of the reason why I continue flipping pages of this book.

The story itself was not something I thought it would be. This book was kind of layered. There's definitely something to peel.

I recommend this book to readers who dreams of their roommate so badly . For readers who enjoys flirty banters and weirdness here and there.

When Blakes latest roommate moves out because she can't handle Blake.....Blake decides a male roommate maybe better, enter Gavin. This book is fast paced and funny. Can Gavin break down Blakes walls and get her to love him? Such a heart warming story.

This was my first book by Elizabeth Hayley but not my first read from the Misadventures series. I really enjoyed spending a couple of days with Blake and Gavin as they got to know each other. Blake is a new employee at the coffee shop where Gavin works. She promptly tells him he is hot and his feels the same about her. Blake calls herself eccentric and freely admits she has no brain to mouth filter. Neither one of them is looking for a relationship just a good time. When Gavin becomes homeless a couple of days after they meet Blake offers to let him move into the room her roommate just evacuated. This is the start of their misadventures.

I liked that this author's writing style is unique for this series. Her characters are are a little "broken" so not only do we get the adventures as these 2 get to know each other but we get to learn about their pasts as they share with each other. I recommend this book and will be looking for more by Elizabeth Hayley.
