Man, what a story!

I have to say I thought my favorite from this series was always going to be Shacking Up, but I have to say that this book just changed that. Pierce knew the moment he met Rian (like Ryan but with an "i") in the supermarket, something was different about her. He didn't know what is was at first but he knew it was something he couldn't stay away from. He knew chemistry like this is not something you should just pass by. Since that first time in the market she was popping up everywhere. There was no way he was going to let her get away from him, without a date with her. He was going to do everything he could to get one chance with her.

Rian on the other hand was always into the bad boys, that broke her heart. She vowed to herself that she would away from anyone that looked like the the stereotype bad boy and that's what Pierce was to her. She only dated people from her online dating sites that were 8+ out of 10 in the compatible meter. She tried to keep it casual with everyone, because she was hiding her past and she thought that if she got to close with someone and had to tell them her story it would end right on the spot. She didn't want to open her heart to anyone, she thought she was happy and her sister was all she needed, until she ran into Pierce.

Can he push through her walls and get the chance he wants? Can she just keep it casual for the summer? Will this end in heart break or will they over come everything that is thrown at them?
This story is amazing and I believe can be read as a stand alone. It is book 3 in the series but like I said above my favorite in the series.

I flipping loved this book! I totally flipped out over the characters! I could do backflips, I love it…..ok, ok, enough with the puns. But this was my first time reading this author and I enjoyed every minute of this smart, well-written rom-com treasure!

Rian (that’s with an “i”) Sutter and her twin sister Marley are “wheeling-and-dealing” realtors in the Hamptons. A scratched Tesla and a case of mistaken identity pings Rian on Pierce Whitfield’s radar. With chemistry off the charts, these two dance around each other in a hysterical and at times emotional way. The blurb gives you the plot, so no additional details from me, but suffice it to say these two each have there secrets that they are keeping to themselves and those secrets aren’t small ones! It is those secrets that drive the plot through a story filled with snappy dialogue and moments of sheer hilarity! Not to mention that chemistry - it was sizzling between Rian and Pierce, who steamed up the pages(not to mention the beach, the kitchen counter, the laundry room dryer….) with sexy talk and action.

Putting the humor and steam aside, I enjoyed the author’s writing style. The book alternated between Rian’s and Pierce’s first person point of view - usually I am not a fan of the first person POV, but it worked very well here. That was another plus for Ms. Hunting on my scoresheet, as I almost always find the first person POV too restricting, leaving me with gaps in my mind as to what the other characters are thinking. But here I felt very invested in the story and fulfilled at the end. To be honest, it did leave me with a hankering for more Helena Hunting stories, so I will definitely check out the first 2 books in this “Shacked Up” series! A+

I flipping loved this book! I loved this book from the first moment I started reading it and couldn't put it down. It's the perfect rom-com combination of sweet and sexy with an absolutely swoon-worthy Pierce. Add in a sassy, but mostly sweet, Rian with an "i" and you've got a winner! A little bit of angst, lots of heat, chemistry, laugh-out-loud moments and you've got an outstanding romantic comedy that's a must read. Now I have to get my hands on the previous 2 books in this series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

I Flipping Love You is flipping fun. It's got all the things a greedy romance reader needs:

-hottie in a Tom Ford suit
-twins...(okay, that works for the guys)
-conflict
-a dryer with amazing abilities...(or maybe it wasn't the dryer)
-beaches
-beach nookie...(also looking less fun as I think about it...)
-Lex sightings (because...LEX)
-Seriously hot hookups
-and an ever after...(I didn't mention the happy because you need to read it!)

-Oh and the sexiest thing a guy can say:

“We’re having a sleepover. We’re going to do this all night, and I’m going to cuddle you like a motherfucker after I finishing sexing every last orgasm out of you.”

Best line next to the dreaded four words...I Flipping Love You!

Although this is book 3 in the Shacking Up series, I haven't read the previous 2 stories, but I had no problems. I feel this is a good stand-alone story. It was a sweet, touch of drama, rom-com! The main characters had some serious chemistry from the get go and I liked how fate kept placing each other in the other's path.

I really liked Rian's character. She was strong, smart, outspoken, sassy, and loyal. I liked how she called Pierce out on his crap and admitted when she was in the wrong.

Pierce is absolutely swoony! He's charming, sweet, loving, family oriented, and persistent yet patient when it comes to winning Rian over. He knew when he needed to push and when to pull back on showing his affections.

This quote was so sweet and swoon worthy, that I had to share it:
"She tastes like love. She feels like my future. Rian is the beginning and the end. She's the fight I won't give up. She's the forever I won't let go."

All in all, this was a wonderful read and I'd rate it 4-4.5 stars! Thank you NetGalley for this copy. This is my honest review!

Why have I not read more of Helena Hunting sooner?! I’m kicking myself!

When I read the blurb of I Flipping Love You I was instantly intrigued by this story! I am OBSESSED with house flipping and every Real Estate show I can get my hands on! I don’t know what it is but I CAN’T STOP WATCHING! They’re full of drama and keep me enthralled from the get go!

I Flipping Love You was no different. From the very first chapter I was hooked on Rian and Pierce. They had one heck of an unconventional first meeting and from then on every other meeting is a matter of happenstance.

Set in the picturesque Hamptons, Rian, that’s Ryan with an I, is a successful Real Estate agent with secrets. Being sensible is not one of them! Rian was the type of female character I love, she was strong and smart and didn’t let anyone walk all over her. But she’s also lacking in confidence and riddled with guilt about her past secrets. She was relatable and funny and I might have loved her more then her counterpart Pierce Whitfield.

Pierce is a down on his luck lawyer who’s spending his summer hiding out on the beaches of the Hamptons fixing up and flipping houses. With a past he’d rather not remember and a future he doesn’t want he’s a little mad at the world and even madder at himself. Pierce likes to think he’s an a$$hole Alpha, but he’s really not. He’s sweet and funny and apparently fantastic in bed if you ask him. He’s also damn fine and not afraid to tell you so.

I Flipping Love You was full of inescapable fate. There was something happening around every corner. There were so many hilarious antics and one liners and crazy high jinx that I loved reading. I Flipping Love You was a feel good romantic comedy that left your heart feeling full and gave you all the heart eyes! I couldn’t stop smiling at the end and instantly went back and read my favourite parts!

Helena Hunting has a writing style that I love. Steamy sex scenes, hilarious high jinx and sweet as candy moments! Rian and Pierce’s story is the one you want to cuddle up with on a rainy Sunday afternoon when you need some laughs, some romance, a little bit of intrigue and some joy. If you haven’t already, pick up this book now! You’ll finish that rainy Sunday hugging your kindle begging for more Rian and Pierce moments!

I didn't really have any expectations going into this book as I have not read anything by this author previously but I was very pleasantly surprised. I loved the banter and often hilarious situations that Rian finds herself in while in Pierce's company. The story was a little predictable at times but it was still very enjoyable, If you are looking for a light entertaining read I would absolutely recommend this book! #IFlippingLoveYou #NetGalley

Its Flipping Awesomeness!!!

The writing dynamics is awesome I Loved all of it, I loved that I thought what was going on really was even More...and that Twins do think and look different, they are as much alike as they are not alike.

Helena Hunting did a perfect job getting us pulled into the story and loving every last minute till the very end and That says a LOT!.Once I started reading it, I slept some and then I went right back to it until The End!

Peirce see's Rian in a grocery store, yes he mistakes her for her twin sister as the small description tells us...but does he really? Heck no because she is nothing like her sister, she doesn't think they look anything alike but obviously they do if Peirce mistakenly accuses her and then says some not so nice things in the midst of her not believing that her twin would be involved in a hit and run especially not to that expensive of a car!!! Peirce wants to get together with Rian NOT her sister to get payment which he is not willing to adjust for some of him "wording" in the conversation.

This story is HOT a couple of great sex scenes that just about right for everyone or should be IMO and its full of fun with laugh out loud moments for sure!! It also has melancholy feels, you just Get This Once as its awesome! You got read this one!!!

This is the first story I’ve read from Helena Hunting and I’m really wondering why. Her writing is spectacular and this story is not short on anything!

I really like Pierce and Rian - it seems as if opposites really do attract, but Rian harbors a secret she never wants to anyone to find out. Pierce is just as guarded about his own secrets. Together they are a big ball of palpable sexual tension.

I really enjoyed this story and now must read the other stuff Miss Hunting has written. I recommend you do the same!

Rian Sutter and her twin sister are slowly making it in the world of real estate. Living in the Hamptons where updated houses can sell for some crazy amounts, their dream of house flipping is finally coming true... slowly.

Pierce Whitfield is a Manhattan lawyer dissatisfied with his current career. Spending the summer working on houses has finally given him an outlet he didn't know he needed.

When Rian and Pierce meet and have a huge misunderstanding, their relationship starts out pretty rocky. But, now they're running into each other in the least likely of places and they soon find out their attraction isn't the only thing they have in common...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was such a cute storyline! I loved the backstory of Rian, and how she and her sister have worked so hard to make it on their own.
The relationship between Rian and Pierce starts with some misunderstandings and a whole lot of secrets between them, but when two people belong together, they need to fight for what they want...
I enjoyed this story as a whole, but I had a really hard time trying to connect with the characters.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
Why have I never read a Hunting book before?! Funny, sarcastic, smart and sexy. I can say that about both Rian and Pierce. It's not the usual rich a-hole with an alpha personality, he's charming and romantic. Rian has spunk and gives as good as she gets when it comes to banter and witty commentary. House flipping has taken on a whole new level of hotness in the Hamptons. It's listed as part of a series but I assume it's not directly connected, I haven't read the others and was never confused. I was thrilled to get a copy through Netgalley and voluntarily wrote my review.
I had fun reading this book. It it was a bit more steamy than I like, but the rest of it was great. I do have friends that like the steam so I would certainly recommend this book. I would even read the other books if it were a series.
It always surprises me when an author writes a book that has a different feel than her normal and it really shouldn’t, but I Flipping Love You by Helena Hunting wasn’t her usual rip roaring funny rom-com, this book was a bit more serious, it was charming, and it was very enjoyable.
Since the age of 18 Rian and her twin sister Marley have been pretty much on their own and figuring out how to make life work. Being successful real estate agents in the Hamptons have helped them work towards their goal of gaining enough capital to be able to flip some beach houses and save enough money t be able to buy their grandmother’s estate from the current owner when it goes on the market and given the state of disrepair it probably won’t be much longer. When Rian is approached in the grocery store by a man who defines bad boy and has an a$$hole demeanor to match, she if furious at his accusations until she realizes that it’s a case of mistaken identity and her twin has some explaining to do, what Rian can’t deny is the attraction she feels for a man she just met and one she knows won’t be good for her or her heart.
I actually love the way they met and the verbal foreplay between them for a good part of this book and while the first third of this book was pretty funny and somewhat snarky that mellowed as this story played out. That’s not a bad thing, it was just different and I enjoyed watching them spend time together, enjoy each other’s company in all kinds of interesting ways, and get to know one another even when Rian was holding back a good chunk of her life. Pierce turns out to be the opposite of a bad boy, he’s actually quite sweet and has a heart of gold and is perfect for Rian even if she refuses to admit it or open herself up to him. I loved that he was patient, kind, and even when he was angry he managed to think about what happened rationally and deal with the situation and Rian calmly. I liked Rian and it was obvious that life had made her guarded and that was warranted, but it was fun to watch her enjoy life again with Pierce even when at times she ran scared.
A sweet romance with a steamy, sexy side I Flipping Love You was a great summer read and one readers will no doubt enjoy!
