4.5☆ I Flipping Love You was a hoot!! I loved the concept of the book, I found it really interesting. Pierce and Rian are great! I loved them both and found them both hilarious! How they met was definitely unique and so funny! Their whole relationship was fun to read about and kept me hooked. There was more than just humor though, there was still the usual steam and sweetness that can be expected from Helena. The epilogue was adorable and a very fitting end for Pierce and Rian.

I Flipping Love You is the newest rom-com in the Shacking Up series, and it might be my favorite! Full of Helena Hunting's signature sass & steamy scenes, this book kept me smiling & laughing the entire time.

Rian Sutter is feisty, determined, and protective of her heart. She lives in the Hamptons with her twin sister, and refuses to let anyone in. Especially the new hottie in town, who just won't give up.

Pierce Whitfield is gorgeous, smart & goes after what he wants. Especially when that something is the gorgeous, sassy woman who keeps turning him down.

I've been wondering about Pierce since he was briefly mentioned as Amalie's brother in Hooking Up, and I'm so glad we got his story. Helena Hunting knows how to deliver the perfect heroes, and she definitely didn't disappoint with this one! I loved these characters, and their story is just so fun! I would love to read more about Marley (next book?? Please Helena?!?!) and the cameo by Amalie, although way too short, was a pleasant surprise.

If you're looking for your next beach read, this is it! A deliciously sexy romance, with hilarious banter & the perfect amount of angst all wrapped up in the perfect story. I highly recommend this one, and can't wait for whatever Helena Hunting delivers next!

Cute read and some steamy scenes. However, I couldn't get with Rian, she irked me to the nth degree. I thought Marley would be the problem twin, but alas no it wasn't. Honestly, I didn't mind Pierce so much but I didn't understand why he pursued a woman who so flaky. I enjoyed this book, for the most part, I just wish there was a different lead woman. I voluntarily read this book via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book reminds me, why I love many books of Helena Hunting. Sometimes she is over the top and I am annoyed about how crazy her heroines (mostly) act.

But this book was sweet – with two struggling – very lovable – people who wanted to find their love.

Rian and her twin sister were abandoned by their parents, who left the country and left their daughters behind, when they were caught cheating. They live in The Hamptons, earning their income als realtors and try make some extra money flipping a house.
When Rian met lawyer Pierce (brother of Anarchy Amy – well known from “Hooking up”) the circumstances are not the best. Her sister damaged his beloved Tesla and left without notice (remember – twins…. You know what happened).

Pierce has his own problems with his job – so during this summer he is helping his brother flipping houses too. Seems like a conflict of interests….

But Rian and Pierce cannot deny the growing attraction.

Now they have to find a way to trust each other and make their relationship happen.

Their lovestory is really well written, you feel the connection between Rian and Pierce.

Both struggle with their live and their families – in different ways – but of course – they find their way.

I definitely recommend this book.. it is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone

This was such a sweet, funny and natural story.

I absolutely adored Rian and Pierce as a couple. They were funny, a little goofy, but very likeable and matching.

Nothing more here left to say.... hopefully there will be another "Shacking Up" - novel *fingerscrossed*

"Because you look like you're good at breaking hearts and bed frames."

I flipping loved I Flipping Love You. I read it as a standalone, even though it's the third book in the Shacking Up series. After finishing the book I went back and read the synopsis of the earlier books and now I can't wait to read them too. Especially since I met some of those characters in this book and I'm very curious to dig deeper into their stories.

Rian (sounds like Ryan but spelled with an 'i') is very much like but also very different from her sister. She's the more behind-the-scenes side of their business compared to her sister's outgoing personality. It's not a beauty versus brains situation because they are both gorgeous girls, but it's more of a nerd versus party girl situation. Rian is the more mature of the two and takes on the role of worrying about their future and their finances.

Pierce has no trouble turning heads, but he's not looking for a relationship. He's learned the hard way and decided that "People could only let you down if you allow them to. So I didn't." But that didn't stop him from appreciating what they had to offer. When he ran into Rian for the first time, they were in the cereal aisle of the grocery store. That's where he first experienced her sass. While most found her personality to be kind of prickly, it turned him on. He wanted her and wasn't afraid to use his legal skills to convince her to see things his way. He was surprised when she dished it right back, renegotiating the terms in her favor.

It was so fun to sit back and watch the sparks fly between them. Especially since I knew what was coming. After reading the synopsis I knew that they would run into each other again later and clash over some real estate that they both wanted, and the anticipation of waiting for that to happen was exciting. What I wasn't expecting was the big secret the sisters were hiding. Something that could give him the advantage if he learned the truth. Way to keep us on the edge of our seat, right?

In the meantime, while I waited and worried about that happening, the witty banter along with the sex and sizzle kept me distracted and entertained. Rian kept me giggling with her internal dialogue with thoughts like, "He should probably come with a warning, like; Panties may combust if you get too close, or something." And Priest, he tended to speak his thoughts out loud, telling her, You're gorgeous, outspoken, and intelligent. It's a hard-on-inducing trifecta." It was snap, crackle and pop between them from the get-go!

That's all you get from me. There's too much goodness between the pages to share everything and you need something to look forward to, right? Trust me, you don't want to pass up the chance to spend some quality time with Priest and Rian, they are good for hours of enjoyment, and you are going to flipping love them too! And now that I've met the incredibly funny and colorful support characters in this story, my fingers are crossed they get a book of their own in the series. The line forms here...

I flipping loved this book so much. I basically read this 5 star story in a few hours. An highly addictive story about 2 people who couldn’t be anymore different.

Rian is a down to earth, saving, couponing kind of girl. She lives a simple life with her twin sister. She meets Pierce who wears an expensive suit and drives a fancy car. They couldn’t be anymore different if they tried but opposites attracts.

I loved these amazingly created characters. Rian was so funny with a take no shit attitude. She gave it to him when he pushed her buttons. She’s no doormat that’s for sure. Pierce is so much more then his expensive suits. She will find that they had so much more in common she originally thought.

It’s an enticing and highly entertaining standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

This is the perfect beach read! It's cute and sexy. I loved how Pierce and Rian met and how they kept on meeting. The way their relationship evolved was sweet, but super steamy. I thought the characters really complimented each other and the ending was perfect.

This was a well-written, entertaining book. Rian is creating a business buying and selling real estate, and is hoping to flip a beachfront property with her sister. Then she meets a sexy stranger who snaps up properties out from under her, and sparks start flying. Pierce needed a break from his job in the city and agrees to help his brother work on some homes in the Hamptons. Then he meets Rian, and business mixes with pleasure. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

I absolutely loved Rian and Pierce!!! They are both flipping houses and in competition for the same houses. But who knew that love would be thrown in the mix and it is the winning hand in life and real estate! Another winner from Helena Hunting, but anything she touches is pure gold! 5 awesomesauce stars!

This book started very strong and then went sideways on me very quickly. I don't know if I'm suffering from romcom fatigue, or if something about this book specifically kept me from connecting it, but I wasn't particularly fond of Rian and the entire storyline here was a miss for me. I have loved other titles by this author in the past, and so would not hesitate to pick up another one, but unfortunately this one didn't work for me.

Not what I expected.

O thought the premise of the book sounded interesting, but it just didn't work for me. Maybe it was the mood I was in when I read the book but I didn't find the book funny. Nor was I engaged by Pierce and Rian's relationship. That all being said I will try reading this author again.
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley

A light, often fun (especially in the beginning) summer read.
A little predictable in places but easy nonetheless.

3.5 summer love stars.
Great beach read.

I flipping love this book!! It was hysterical, sweet, sassy, and sexy! Pierce was perfect and I love how relentless he could be without being over the top in my opinion. I loved Rian's sass and attitude but also her vulnerability. Together they were explosive and I loved every second of this book!

I love I Flipping Love You! And Pierce, oh man, he’s just fantastic! What a fun, sweet story with great characters that you’ll fall in love with. This story has great wit and banter that had me smiling from the start, secrecy and off the charts chemistry, and a wonderful ending that left me with a huge smile on my face. A great feel good story!

It's no secret that I LOVE Helena Hunting and everything she writes. I always know what to expect and I know I'll never be disappointed. So it is no surprise that I Flipping Love You is Hunting at her comedic best. This rom-com is not only hysterically funny and sexy but it also has tons of heart. The characters' backstories give them a depth that makes it impossible for you not to fall in love with them. You'll laugh, you'll swoon and you'll wish you had a Pierce of your own to make your panties go *poof* because that man is all sorts of yummy!!!

I loved the fiery Rian and her twin sister Marley. There's a spark in them that makes them fun and a force to be reckoned with. Rian's internal dialogue had me laughing throughout the story. She's the kind of character you'd want to be friends with in real life because she's just so real! However, not all is as perfect as it seems as Rian has ghosts from her past that have shaped her adulthood and clouded her future. Pierce was the perfect match for Rian. Aside from his stunning good looks, he's funny, suave and romantic. He's stuck in a situation he doesn't want to be in, dealing with family issues that cloud his future as well. The pull that these two have is undeniable. They are like two magnets drawn to each other, unable to stay away, creating a deliciously sexy and beautiful love story that will have readers swooning hard. Even with some large speed bumps that get in their way, they navigate through and come out on the other side with an adorably sweet HEA that was perfectly befitting of this perfect couple.

While I Flipping Love You is a complete standalone, fans of Hunting's work will relish the characters from other books that make several appearances. When I realized the connections they had, I was giddy! It's not necessary to read previous books and there really are no spoilers per se for the other books but of course I do recommend them because they, too, are fabulous! If you are looking for a flirty, fun, sexy and sweet story, I Flipping Love You fits the mold perfectly. This one gets five fabulous stars from me.

Stupid and too many ridiculous musings on female anatomy. Poorly written and not engaging. Do not recommend this novel.

Here is what I thought...

I'm not going to lie, I love me some Helena Hunting and have for awhile now. Her stories always make me laugh and are always filled with fun, sassy females that you cannot usually find in romance stories. I flipping love you is no exception.
While I felt that the ending was a bit rushed, the rest of the story is paced well. There was a bit of predictability in one small aspect of the story but it did not take away from the story for me in any way. I think Rian is a great female lead and loved her sassy-ness and her strength. Ms. Hunting, as usual, writes a great male character in Pierce. He isn't what Rian expects and he is the perfect match for her.
I am always happy to get a chance to read and review an HH novel. While nothing will beat the Pucked series for me, I flipping love you is a sexy, touching story and a great addition to your summer reading pile! 4/5 stars
