This my first experience reading a DC Super Hero Girls book. My galley seemed to be missing pages so I definitely did not get the whole story. The art seemed a bit lazy at times, clearly copying and pasting characters in certain poses into different panels again and again. I love to see female and POC representation in the super hero genre of graphic novels, and DC Super Hero Girls does a super job in that. Children do gravitate to these books so I'll continue to order them for my library.
For the short bit that was provided it was a good addition to the DC Super Hero Girls story. Once my girls saw it on my ipad they wanted to look at it as well.
A cute and fun read for young fans of the DC universe. Female superheroes unite to search for Atlantis. A solid selection for public library Youth Graphic novel collections.
I would have given this title more if i had more than just a sample. The sample I was provided on Netgalley is missing so much of the story, that i am not sure if I like it or not. Currently i can say it looks the the rest of the series.
Thanks to NetGalley and DC for allowing an advanced view of this book.
Super Hero Girls are bound to sell a lot of comics!
Super Hero High school is a wonderful place to hone super skills and learn a little, too.
But when it is your first day of school, making friends is hard and sharing friends is might be even harder.
So, when you make a friend who is a superhero and their other superhero friends get mad at you...you just don't know what to expect! ...Add a field trip to that and adventure abounds!
Ack! This was too short!!! I love Mera, and that she is being introduced in this series makes me so happy. More please!
Both my children loved this book! My daughter is a huge fan, and the book didn't disappoint.
