What if a dead pharaoh, Tutankhamen came to you for help in finding his lost queen? What would you do?
Rosa knows she must help, but there are going to be dangers along the way, and what if something happens to her? Would she ever be allowed to go home again?
I really enjoyed this book! It was fun and a quick read!
This was a fun time travel adventure! I like how it was set in Ancient Egypt. The author did a great job in making the setting come alive. The story was filled with fun and engaging characters. Overall, I highly recommend this for middle graders.
I found this book entertaining and fun to read. A good fantasy, it seems to be well reasearched and it's well written.
Recommended.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher.
I didn’t notice when I downloaded this book that it was going to be archived the next day. What I read seemed promising. It did seem slow, especially since it claims to be geared towards reluctant readers. I did not post a review on another site. Sorry.
This book felt a lot more drawn out than it needed to be; I think my students would get more excited about it if some of the excess was cut out, leaving a more fast-paced book. However, it had a lot of great twists and turns in it that kept the book moving forward. It also did an excellent job of taking an old story, which has been re-told several times, and turning it into something new.
