Jeremy Keane doesn't let himself get too attached to anything. After all, a single slip of his telekinetic ability can send him on the run. So when he uses his power to save a stranger's life, he knows better than to stick around, even if one look into her big brown eyes makes all his defenses melt. If only she weren't so damned persistent. Grace Trevell knows she's spent too long reeling from her mother's abandonment and her grandmother's death. It's time to make new friends, fall in love, and build a true home for herself. So when a gorgeous guy risks his life to save hers, she's not letting him just walk away. But Jeremy is keeping secrets beyond anything she could imagine.
I really liked this story. I liked following the story of Grace and Jeremy. I especially like the instant pull he seemed to feel for her that causes this change in his life and priorities. I can’t wait to read the next story in this series.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed this book

I enjoyed this book but found it a bit flat - the romance seemed a little rushed and the danger needed to be fleshed out more. I appreciate the family aspect however and look forward to future installments. So, all in all, a light, quick and easy read..
My thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was an easy read and the pacing kept things moving along, no skimming needed. I liked both Jeremy and Grace. Their chemistry was a low simmer but it was sweet. The story had a bit of danger and suspense with the romance being pretty instant between the two MCs. The smexy times did feel a little rushed, not the length of the scenes but the fact that they jumped into bed so fast seemed a little out of place for the characters we’d been introduced too.
Grace seemed a reserved and cautious girl, her past relationships and her family history gave the impression of a level headed person who doesn’t take risks. She kind of does an about face when she meets Jeremy. The cloak and dagger business, the easy acceptance of having to move away, assume new identities and basically live under the radar for the foreseeable future warranted a little bit more of a reaction than what Grace goes through.
Jeremy and Grace are pretty insta-love/lust but I think a bit more inner conflict would have fleshed out their love story a bit more.
Would I recommend?
If you want a sweet, drama free, insta-love romance with some paranormal intrigue, Colliding Hearts would be a good fit.

Eva Chase’s Colliding Hearts is a delightful read that has some interesting characters and an intriguing plot. I read the prequel, Burning Hearts first and I was quite fascinated by the whole taking kids off the streets and keeping them for experimentation plot, so I was looking forward to finding out what happened to the Jeremy’s parents and his brothers. The books focus on the brothers and the first one is Jeremy’s where he meets this woman and accidentally draws attention to himself and the bad guys come running and I enjoyed reading it only the story is seems a little flat after reading the prequel. I am not sure why I found it to be so and I must say that while Colliding Hearts can be read without reading the prequel you might want to read the prequel so that you have a better understanding of just who the enemy is and why they would be after Jeremy.
Overall Jeremy and Grace were captivating characters that drew me in and I really wanted to know what happened next in the medium to fast paced storyline. I will have to read the next book and see where things go from here and hopefully I will be able to determine more.

Interesting!
A great start to a new series. Jeremy and Grace are great together and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the future.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

I was hooked from the beginning, I liked that the family was so tight together. They have special power that researchers wants to explore, so they are searching for them. Can Jeremy and Grace have the life they want. Well read and find out, for your self.
I was given this ARC from netgalley to give my honest review.

Solid beginning to a series. I love the tight-knit family and was intrigued by their family system of being separate but connected. I enjoyed Jeremy and Grace. Their relationship was sweet and believable.
I can't quite put my finger on why this wasn't a 5 star read. Could be it was just a little too short. Or maybe the fact that the reader know nothing about AP and learns very little during the story.
Overall an enjoyable, quick read that leaves you hooked enough to want to check out Nick's story next.

I didn’t know until I had already read this story that I could’ve read the prequel over Jeremy‘s parents prior to reading his and Grace’s story. I would have had I known just to have more of the backstory and history on the Alpha project and his parents, so if you haven’t read this yet, grab his parents novella along with this one. I figure it’ll help lay the footwork we see in acting here. I did enjoy the premise of the family of enhanced individuals being pursued because of their abilities, especially knowing there’s potential for all the siblings to get a story, I love me an interconnecting but individually happy ever after series. Jeremy and Grace are great together and I think lovers of paranormal romances will enjoy this.

The story of Jeremy and Grace. A fair romance, but the romance goes very fast without a lot of buildup besides physical attraction. Jeremy is from a family of 5 brothers, so I assume this opens the door for more books when each brother finds romance. Each one, including their parents, have a special ability. Jeremy's skill is moving things with his mind. When he first meets Grace he pushes a truck out the way of crashing into her. Overall, the book had more good parts than not, but the "evil" group that wants to capture him and experiment on him felt like it was not needed. Would have preferred just them dealing with his skill, and building a romance instead. Maybe just me. Would still recommend this book, and would give it 3.5.
