This book is a quick read about a day spent looking for a small lost dog.
I feel that a middle grader would be able to appreciate the story.
Not really for me but dog lovers seem to enjoy it.
I was given this book by Netgalley and the publisher. This is my voluntary and impartial review.

Ein kleines Buch über die Verbindung von Menschen und Hunden, über Familie und Freundschaft - sehr emotional und bewegend geschrieben.

This short true story book is not only about the authors missing dog but also about his life, sibling and his fears of the “what if” something I am very familiar with. As we read the story the author goes into his “what if” scenarios, expecting the worst of what might have happened to his tiny dog Skippy, who is only 6 pounds. We travel with him as he tries to manage what is going on with his brother but also going around town looking for and asking people if they have seen his dog. We relive his thoughts of what this dog means to him and, and his fears of what would it be like not to find him. I found this to be a good character study, in a true story.
I would like to thank Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the ARC of this book.

I am very relieved that Skippy found his way safely home, but disliked the the implication that wild animals don't pray so a benevolent god lets them get hit by cars....Sorry. Not my kid of book.

A cute and humorous story.
But a very short read, generally I would purchase something longer.

However, in such a short story, the author was able to give the reader a good idea on character personalities. Definitely worth picking up if you have 20 minutes to fill.

A lovely short read for all dog lovers. If you own a dog, you will understand the emotions of the author. Michael did a good job of describing every dog owner's worst nightmare. A really good short read. Thank you Net Galley for my copy. I reviewed on Amazon, Goodreads and Facebook.

This was a very short book that i enjoyed very much. The story was very beautiful and heartwarming. Me, being a dog lover too, I was able to connect with the character and his desperate search for his dog Skippy. It was a very fast read that took me very little to finish, but despite that gave me a lot of feelings. You can just see and feel yourself just how much the character loves his dog and that he would do anything to see him safe at home.
The only issue was that the writer needs to go over this book again because there were a few things that didn't make sense.
I strongly recommend this book to all the dog lovers and dog parents out there. I assure you that you are not going to be disappointed.
