I found this book to be insightful and uplifting as a loving uncle advises his niece on the healing arts in as series of letters. Each letter covers an aspect of a true healer and how to spot a false healer. Letters to a Young Healer is a sequel to The Charm Carver which I have not read, but will definitely be reading in the near future. Mr. Shuch's writing is very soothing to the soul.
