A fantastic read, as I’ve come to expect from Robin Bielman. Elliot and Madison’s story is a slow-burn office romance to savor.

Lord! This book!!! So many emotions. I was laughing and swooning one second and then raging the next. LOL!!!

Madison has been searching for the perfect job, with not much luck. She lands an assistant job at a new start-up company and immediately falls in love with it on her first day. Until she meets her boss.

Elliot is all about work, which makes him a bit of hard-a**. He’s having problems finding and keeping an assistant. Until Madison walks through his door. She exceeds all his expectations. And more.

This is a slow burn of the best kind. Their chemistry is off the charts. Have mercy! Like I said before, I wanted to throttle them both at times, but when things were good, they were goooooooood!

I loved everything about this book, even the bits that made rage. LOL!!! We also got to catch up with Mateo and Teague, and Levi and Harper, so that was nice! This is an all-around great book and you should definitely read it!

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

This is the first book I've read by this author and if her others are anything like this one I'm hooked! This is not your typical office romance between the boss and his assistant. It is so different from anything I've read before.

What makes it unique, is that Elliot and Maddy knew each other before they started working together. Not only do they have mutual friends, but her best friend is dating his best friend/roommate. So they see each other often at social events. But when Maddy stepped into his office building that day, she had no idea who she would be working for because she was placed through a temp agency.

The banter between Elliot and Maddy is off the charts. I could not stop laughing at their "notes" back and forth, especially Elliot's score keeping talents.

The sexual tension between the two are off the charts. The only problem is that the company has a vert strict no fraternizing policy after the CEO was burned by his ex wife.

So what happens when you both have found not only your dream job but possibly also your soul mate?

LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED this book!

Forbidden love at its finest in this story. Workplace love interests aren't allowed but Elliott and Madison still found that they couldn't stay away from each other risking everything. They had great banter and along with all of the mutual friends come some entertainment and some great advice for both of them, more Elliott than Madison though.
It was an enjoyable read that I was able to finish in one afternoon. First time reading this author and I will gladly read her again.

This story has it all from the wicked banter, an intense slow burn between Madison and Elliot that is sure to ignite a few e-readers, and a plot that moves fast and smooth. Would you risk your career for an office romance? What would you do if your friends questioned everyone you dated? If you thought Mateo and Levi had that sexy swagger, readers it’s time to meet Elliot.

I’ve read a handful of books by this author through the years and she still has me coming back for more when a new one comes out. It was such a pleasure to read this new story by Robin Bielman and that she is a part of the entangled publishers as I know they have really great authors there. The story really comes alive as your reading, you can picture the story in your mind and makes you feel like your going on the same journey as the characters and this is something that this author does really well in my opinion. There was just the right amount of heat, chemistry and romance between the characters and through the story. The storyline is also amazing too. I so can’t wait to see what this author writes next and I would definitely recommend this book to everyone

My laptop bit the dust, so I'm way late in posting my review!
I really enjoyed this book. I think that this is my first Robin Bielman book. It certainly won't be my last. I found her writing style a little different than I normally read. This is dual 1st person POV.
A slow burn romance. I requested & received this ARC without realizing that it's the 3rd in a series.
I had no trouble following. The main characters from the first 2 books are supporting characters in this one.
There was a sort of meet cute- but not really. Madison is behind Elliot in line at a coffee shop. She doesn't recognize him at first. They mutual friends and know each other. I guess that can happen. She was staring at his ass. LOL
The slow burn was kinda nice. Elliot is her boss. Of course, there's a hands off employees policy. Madison is a great asset to the company. Elliot has not been the best boss to his previous assistants. They had to hire temps to fill the job. Madison is more than qualified and does stand up to Elliot's stern ways of management. They soon move towards a more friendly acquaintance. Through Elliot's and Madison's internal monologues, they each admit to an attraction.
Matteo- from book 1 cautions Elliot against hurting Madison. Madison had a terrible break up- jerk ex relationship. Matteo seems like a big brother to Madison.
Meanwhile, Madison is learning to spread her wins. She starts to find her professional niche.
The chemistry warms up gradually. This wasn't the usually 44% & wham, they're lovers kinda book. I enjoyed their relationship building. Madison admires Elliot and Elliot truly appreciates Madison.
I will have to go back and read the other 2 books in this series. This can be a standalone. The other books look good. I want to know more about all of the characters. Matteo & Teague, Levi & Harper.
4 stars. Sweet friends to lovers/ Boss-Employee romance.

TOO HARD TO RESIST is the third instalment in Robin Bielman’s contemporary, adult WHEREVER YOU GO erotic, romance series focusing on a close-knit group of friends. This is finance manager of ZipMeds ( a company that builds drones that transport lifesaving drugs and medical supplies to struggling countries ) Elliot Sax, and his temporary PA Madison Hastings’ story line. TOO HARD TO RESIST can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Elliot and Madison) TOO HARD TO RESIST follows the forbidden romance between ZipMeds finance manager Elliot Sax, and his new PA Madison Hastings. Elliot Sax doesn’t have patience for the incompetent temps that have come and gone in a matter of weeks. With the realization that his new but temporary PA is his roommate Mateo’s friend, Elliot struggles with the forbidden attraction to his new assistant. Enter Madison Hastings, accounting graduate and the woman with whom Elliot will fall in love. What ensues is the building but forbidden relationship between employee and boss, and the fall-out as Madison becomes collateral damage in Elliot’s climb to the top.

Elliot knows that inter-office romances are forbidden, mandated by the company CEO James, a man burned by a previous affair but Elliot struggles with his attraction to, and need for Madison Hastings, a risk he is willing to take to make Madison his own. Madison is a woman on the path to independence but falling in love with Eliot Sax was never on the horizon including the disaster that was about to destroy her life.

The relationship between Eliot and Madison is a romance deemed forbidden by company policy but it is the forbidden that pushes Eliot and Madison’s palpable sexual attraction. Madison knows that her term of employment is threatened by the possibility of an inter-office affair; Eliot is willing to risk everything until everything is about to come crashing down. Eliot will sacrifice the woman with whom he has fallen in love, a sacrifice that pushes Madison out of the picture, and out of a job. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.

We are introduced to ZipMeds CFO Drake, CEO James and his personal assistant Abigail ‘Auggie’ August, as well as the return of Levi and Harper (Lips Close to Mine #2), and Mateo and Teague (Talk British to Me #1).

TOO HARD TO RESIST is a story of unequal power; of one man’s need to control and release, and one woman who becomes collateral damage on the way to the top. The premise is edgy, fateful and intoxicating; the romance is sexy, passionate and intense; the characters are energetic, spirited and tragic.

Despite the slow beginning, the story is pretty engaging thanks to the fresh and funny narration. The author doesn't skimp in details when it comes to her characters and the situations they are in, and the alternated points of view make us experiment in first person the feelings and thoughts of them while they fight against an attraction that's forbidden.

Elliot and Madison are solid characters, and through the series we've come to know some things about them, but it's in this book where we have the chance to know them more deeply. The chemistry they share is incredibly, and even when they try to deny it their feelings do nothing but grow, so the things started to heat a little... or a lot.

The tension between the characters sometimes was too dense, too strong, making you imagine something big would happen just for postponing the good stuff. The shared notes and the scoreboard where a pretty hilarious touch.

Elliot's competitive nature and his drive for success will be shacked for his lust for Madison, someone who's not only like a sister for his best friend but also his assistant. There are rules against a office relationships. One step out of the line, and he will loose his job. But, what if those feelings for Madison aren't just lust but something else?

Madison's heart has been broken before. And all she wants now is to built a successful career and get the hell out of her parent's house. She loves them, but she needs her own space, and her job at ZipMeds is her chance to have it. She can't risk everything for her attraction to Elliot Sax, but what if that's not one sided? What if it's love?

Elliot and Madison will have a long way ahead of them, and you will enjoy every step of the journey. This book is romantic and sweet, and I had a lot of fun with it. As in the previous installments, the author keeps the tension until the very end the way the story resolves will warm your heart and make you want more.

3.5 stars because I liked Madison.

This book has both cursing (including a lot of f-bombs) and on-page sex. If those things will cause you to leave a bad review, you should skip this one.

While I really enjoy Robin Beilman's writing, this book wasn't my cup of tea. The story was okay, and I enjoyed some of it, but I just did not like Eliot and I don't think he loved Madison. *spoilers to end of paragraph* When he decided that his job was more important than Madison or *her* job (he thought that she should have quit her job so he could keep his? Really? Gross.), that was pretty much it for me, but the kicker was that he waxed poetic about how he missed her in a sexual manner rather than as a person. An entire paragraph of how many sexual situations he missed her in, but nothing about how he missed talking to her or how he missed her laugh? I'm sorry, but there's nothing to make me think that he actually cares about her as a person rather than as a playhouse. I really liked Madison and wish that she'd just stayed single. Another thing that made me sad was what did the pimp-mothers think about her report? That story line was so funny and interesting, but it just kind of faded away and was forgotten, which is too bad because I loved it.

This wasn't a bad book, and I will definitely read more by Ms. Beilman, but this one just wasn't my favorite.

This is a brilliant, steamy, contemporary romance with plenty of humour that had me laughing out loud. With mutual friends who have become couples, it would be great if Elliot and Madison actually got together - or would it? Actually the other couples aren't keen, she's just got a new job and he's her boss and, to top it all, their work place has a no work romances policy, so no, they shouldn't get together. However, that attraction between them is so hot it is so difficult for them to resist . . . . Is love worth the risk or are their jobs more important? Decisions, decisions and romance - a great combination for a brilliant read you'll find too hard to put down!

The chemistry between the two main characters, the banter and fun counteracted by the angst and turmoil as both endeavour to resist their attraction make this into another really enjoyable page turner from this talented author. She manages to put the reader into the scenarios and having much of the story told in the first person enhances this. I thoroughly enjoyed this office romance and have no hesitation in highly recommending it (along with anything else by Robin Bielman) to anyone who enjoys well crafted romances!

I requested and was lucky enough to be given a copy of this novel, via NetGalley, with no obligation. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

When Madison lands herself a temp job, she never imagined Elliot Sax would turn out to be her boss. Yet, she's hoping to make her temp job a permanent one and knowing there's a no-fraternisation rule for the company, she figures it'll be easy to keep her hands off him. However, the more time they spend together, the more tempting she finds Elliot. Will these two give into their intense chemistry or will they lose their chance at forever?

Ms. Bielman has become one of my go-to authors for New Adult romance, and I've got to say that this third book is the best of her Wherever You Go series. It was absolutely captivating, fast-paced and drew me in from the beginning because of the wonderful main characters; compelling dialogue that was full of humour due to the game this couple play to keep from giving in to their powerful chemistry; and the obstacles these two face to be together including the fact that their romance is forbidden because they work together. Will they find a way to get their happy ever after, especially when both of them love their jobs?

With the main characters, Madison is sassy, hard-working, resilient and I liked how determined she was to resist the hero because she loves her new job. I also liked the tight friendships she shares with Teagan and Harper who support her every step of the way with what's going on with her growing relationship with Elliot. What is more important forever love or keeping her job? Then there's the experiment Madison goes through with that gives her the chance to resist Elliot a bit longer. It was interesting and had me reading quickly, determined to discover whether Madison would be disappointed or be able to give good reports. While the hero, he's confident, hard-working and I liked how determined he was to win the heroine over once he realizes how much he wants her, even though their relationship could cost him his job. I also liked the tight friendship he has with Mateo and Levi and that he wasn't afraid to go head-to-head with them to get what he wanted.

Overall, Ms. Bielman has delivered a wonderfully-crafted read in this book where the ending had me smiling and left me completely satisfied by the decisions these two make to be together. Since Madison is getting her chance at a dream she never imagined would be possible and Elliot is determined to win the heroine's heart. How far is he willing to win Madison back? I would recommend Too Hard to Resist by Robin Bielman, if you enjoy the forbidden romance trope, office romances, the friends to lovers trope, or books by authors Stacy Wise, Beth Anne Miller, Megan Westfield and Erin Nicholas.

Fraternizing in the workplace may be against work protocol, but Elliot Sax and Madison Hastings cannot seem to resist the pull they feel towards each other, which means secret encounters and forbidden rendezvous are risks they’re both willing to take once they realize that their mutual attraction refuses to dissipate.

But to get to that point in their relationship, Elliot and Madison, as well as readers, must endure mixed signals, frustrating interactions, and missed opportunities that will have them all shaking their heads and wishing that the characters’ stubbornness would ease up so they can explore the chemistry that’s been simmering just below the surface since the two first met, which was actually before Elliot became Madison’s boss.

It’s quite the predicament that Elliot and Madison find themselves in when it comes to suppressing their desire for one another. Because it’s not just the non-fraternizing clause that the pair is dealing with, even though that’s a huge complication, but there’s also the fact that Madison is one hell of an assistant whose intelligence and organizational skills allow everything to run smoothly, which, in turn, allows Elliot to be successful as well…moreover, Madison’s insecurities play into her decision to avoid close encounters with her sexy boss, but the more time Elliot and Madison spend together, the closer they became, which means it’s only a matter of time before they both throw caution to the one and put their jobs and their hearts on the line.

I love friends-to-lovers and office romance stories; there’s just something about the slow burn of friends figuring out that there’s more between them than plutonic friendship. Add in the forbidden aspect of Elliot and Madison’s intimate relationship due to the no-fraternization policy at their workplace and readers have a romance that builds slowly in terms of actions but holds a steady stream of desire and fantasies as these two circle around one another and try to figure out how they can keep their jobs but also ‘keep’ each other.

Robin Bielman’s Too Hard To Resist fits in well with the other two stories in her Wherever You Go series because it has the same level of heat, drama, humor, and sass that make for enjoyable reads. I also like the fact that readers get to check in with previous couples and while all three couples don’t ride off into the sunset, readers can rest assured that Bielman has given them a fantastic start to what should be their forever love.

Since the first book in the series I have been hoping we would get one with Madison. I am so glad she and Elliott are the main characters in Too Hard to Resist.

Madison is really finding herself after breaking up with her cheating fiance at their wedding. She's trying to get a long term job and is dipping her toes back into the dating pool. It's at one of her temp work assignments that she runs into Elliott, who happens to be her new boss.

Even though inter-office dating and hooking up are not allowed, it isn't long before their mutual attraction makes it hard to resist each other.

One of my favorite things about this book is that Madison is smart, capable, and really wants to get back out there after being hurt. I really enjoyed the chapters she narrated and that Elliott appreciates those qualities about her as well.

Sometimes in series, especially those centered around a core group of characters, I find they can be a bit repetitive. Robin Bielman did a wonderful job making each couple and the difficulties they face unique. I hope there's more to come from this series!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Too Hard to Resist is an enjoyable forbidden workplace romance! Beyond the boss-and-assistant element that would make any relationship questionable at best, ZipMeds actually has a policy against dating within the office. But there's a spark between Elliot and Madison that's hard to ignore, as hard as they try--and they do actually try. I appreciated the restraint they exercise rather than just saying "we shouldn't do this" over and over again while doing it anyway.

Too Hard to Resist is my first book in the Wherever You Go series as well as my first book by Robin Beilman. The book is definitely a standalone, but I do think there would be some extra world-building benefits to reading the other books in the series, too. There's a rich set of secondary characters (and some fun secondary plotlines, too) and I'd definitely like to read more within the series to get to know those characters better.

Both Elliot and Madison were quality narrators, but sometimes their internal monologues got a bit awkward. That said, I can't really fault that, because I think everyone's internal monologue goes off the rails sometimes. Bottom line: I enjoyed Too Hard to Resist and recommend it as a fun read with plenty of developed characters.
