Wyatt is a bull rider turned single dad. All he wants is to give his daughter a good life and make her feel loved and secure. He has no room in his life for a romantic relationship. Then why is the red head from Grey's still on his mind? McKenna is a world traveler. Nothing could make her settle down in Marietta. Nothing that is until Wyatt and his daughter enter the picture. Now she has to decide if the pull she feels is worth the risk of a broken heart, or if it is time to catch a plane to a new adventure. Great read. I love this kind of feel good story.

Wyatt and his daughter catches McKenna's heart in this delightful tale of Marrietta, Montana.

Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

While the fourth book in the Marietta St. Claire's series, it is the first book in the series for me. I'm not sure if I met any of the other characters in the series (there is sometimes overlap in characters from the other series), but it wasn't really important to have read the other books in this series.

McKenna is the last of the St. Claire's unmarried. While her siblings have settled down and started families in Marietta, she has been traveling the world from the family's house in New York. What she has really been doing is running away from her grief and building a wall of protection around her heart. While Wyatt Emmerson been staying put in Marietta, he has also been building a tall wall while healing from a career-ending rodeo injury and taking care of the daughter that was left on his doorstep.

Finding Her Montana Cowboy has the familiar themes of trying to protect your heart from loss by never getting close to anyone. Typical romance tropes are used, so don't expect anything too unique with this story. But if you are looking for a sweet romance that has enjoyable characters then this is the book to get.

Finding Her Montana Cowboy is such a sweet and heartfelt story. It´s about connecting with your family and finding your right spot in the world. About finding out what is right for you.
It has a nice setting and wonderful characters that you just can´t help relate to and fall in love with.

Finding Her Montana Cowboy has all the sweet and heartfelt qualities I have come to expect from a Lara van Hulzen story. Set in Marietta Montana, this story is fourth in the Marietta St Claire’s series and while it is a nice addition to this suite of family romances it also stands alone well.
In this story, we see McKenna St Claire, the traveller of the family, finally discover love in a place she least expected it - small town rural America.
Wyatt Emerson, a former bull rider who’s making a new life in Marietta with his young daughter Katie, has no plans to include a woman in his life. He has enough already in the former of his mother, sister and daughter. I liked the way these two were paired, and the way Katie was a part of their relationship throughout. The story flows well and ensured plenty of smiles along the way. Finally I liked the way that this story stressed the importance of family. On top of all that, it’s a lovely story to read and I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this sweet romance novel. It was a quick read and I could not put it down. I like the way Lara develops her characters and the small town setting was done so well. The town of Marietta came alive and you could just imagine living there and having one of the St. Claires as a best friend. My heart went out to Wyatt Emmerson and all he had to go through. Can McKenna, Wyatt and his daughter Kaitie find healing, hope and a new beginning. I foung Finding Her Montana Cowboy to be a sweet love story that will melt your heart. I recommend reading this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Tule Publishing through NetGalley, Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

It's a good book, but I stopped after I realized the hero had a daughter. I don't really like reading stories where one of the main characters has a kid.

We’ve had glimpses of McKenna and Wyatt in this series, yet their romance was certainly an emotional journey that neither really expected. While I really liked Wyatt and McKenna together they do have some issues to be dealt with, and letting someone in isn’t easy for either of them. Yet it was one little half-pint, Kaiti, who made this story come alive for me. This little sweetheart has been through a lot in her short life and to see the affection and caring that she and McKenna discover just grabbed my heart and didn’t let go.

Two people who, on the surface, seem to be opposite poles from each other find a way to make love work in Finding Her Montana Cowboy. I’ve enjoyed this series from the start and hopefully we’ll catch up with this family again somewhere in Marietta, Montana – seems folks always know your name in this lovely small town. *grin* I’d not hesitate to recommend this story or this series to any Contemporary Romance reader who loves a good solid story, likable characters, lively secondary characters and that magical ingredient called love.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

This series follows the St. Claire siblings. While the books follow a definite timeline, each book can stand on it's own. You just might be happier if you read them in order.

McKenna has popped up in past books and it was good to finally get her story. She is known as the family wanderer, the world traveler. Now she is hoping to stay near her family and share in those celebrations and relationships she has been missing out on. I loved McKenna's innate desire to help people and to prove herself useful.

Wyatt has had his time in the limelight and now he is ready to settle down and provide a steady home for his daughter. I loved Wyatt's solid feel, the way he dug in deep and worked hard. He was easy to love.

I enjoyed this story a lot. It was easy to settle in with and I loved the ending which actually came from the father of those St. Claire siblings. It was so sweet and now that I am watching my own children leave home and get married, it held extra meaning. 💙

Content: frequent mild swearing, kissing

This is a good book and I enjoyed it, however, I found it a little on the boring side.

Wyatt is a likable hero and McKenna is a likable heroine. But I just didn't find either of them that interesting. This is basically a book about two very nice people finding love. I would defiantly call it a sweet romance and it is worth a read, just don't expect a lot of thrills.

The secondary characters are also well written and made me want to read the other books in this series that I missed.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys sweet contemporary romance.

I really enjoy the Marietta Montana romance books. This was another great one. We meet the youngest sister of the St. Clair brothers. They are all married, having kids and very happy in Marietta. Lucas and his wife run a ranch that Wyatt is working at with his father. We learn that he had been badly injured in a rodeo event and then an ex girl friend arrived, announcing he had a 5 year old daughter and signed over her rights. McKenna loves to travel the world and everyone keeps expecting her to leave. She becomes close with Wyatt and his daughter with lots of angst and relationship issues coming to play. It was a wonderful read. I give it 5 Stars.

Wyatt had a promising career as a bull rider until he was injured. He’s come back home with his daughter, Kaiti, to be close to family.

McKenna is the traveler in the family. All of her siblings have settled down and are starting to have kids and she’s beginning to rethink her life.

McKenna and Wyatt meet by chance one night. They feel an attraction that they try to ignore, but only increases as they spend time together and get to know each other. Against their better judgment, they begin to date.

McKenna and Wyatt are afraid to take a chance on love because they’ve both been hurt before.

This story is definitely a clean read. If you enjoy stories about family, cowboys, and self discovery, then this story is for you.

Love! Love! Love! I loved reading Finding Her Montana Cowboy by Lara Van Hulzen, the fourth book in her Marietta St. Claire’s. This is a wonderful story about finding love even when you are not looking for it, especially when you are in denial of looking for it. McKenna has always been the traveler of the family and not looking to settle down. Wyatt was injured in the rodeo and then found out he has a little girl that was dropped off at his door. His life revolves around his daughter, Kaiti and working on the ranch. McKenna and Kaiti hit it off right away but Wyatt is afraid of letting anyone into his life. Soon he can't deny his feelings but does McKenna feel the same?

Lara Van Hultzen created an amazing family with the St. Claire’s and did an remarkable job tying up the series within this story. Wyatt and McKenna might come from strong families but both are very afraid of love and marriage. Kaiti was a great addition to this story and her story tugged at my heartstrings. It was fantastic revisiting and getting updated on the other siblings but I didn’t want this series to end. I think patriarch Daniel needs his own story and HEA since all the kids are married.

I really loved reading this book and didn’t want to put this book down, reading it in one day. Ms. Van Hultzen is a wonderful story teller and she always draws me into her books, making me forget the world around me. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Loved, loved this book of finding love when you even try to deny it. McKenna has always been the traveler of the family and not looking to settle down. Wyatt was injured in the rodeo and then found out he has a little girl that was dropped off at his door. His life revolves around his daughter, Kaiti and working on the ranch. McKenna and Kaiti hit it off right away but Wyatt is leery of letting anyone into his life. Soon he can't deny his feelings but does McKenna feel the same?

I have always loved the St Claire's and Lara Van Hulzen does a wonderful job tying up the series, even though I don't want to say good bye!! Loved the characters of Wyatt and McKenna both so afraid of love but strong families. Kaiti, was just so darn cute, just pulled at my heart strings!! Oh, so many babies in this family now. I still think Daniel needs his HEA, since all the kids are married now, hint, hint.

This book is a part of a series but the author does a wonderful job of catching you up. I highly recommend this book, along with the rest of the books in this series.

I received an arc from Netgalley. What a delightful romance this was and it definitely pulled at the heartstrings.

Wyatt and Kenna are two intriguing individuals and you could feel their connection right from the start. Wyatt the rodeo bull rider recovering from an injury and a daughter he did not know about sweep into Kenna’s life. She is a free spirit and loves to travel but finds out maybe traveling comes second best to those you love.

Definitely a great read and an author I will read again. 5 stars

Finding Her Montana Cowboy by Lara Van Hulzen gives the reader McKenna who is the last of the St. Claire siblings to receive her HEA. This sweet romance has likable characters especially Wyatt Emmerson and his young daughter, Kaiti. I admired Wyatt for doing what is needed each day after his rodeo dreams are shattered. While he may seem to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder, it was less than what most men would have.

As for McKenna, while she has positive traits, she is stuck in a holding pattern. I really didn’t understand her reluctant to love someone. Her loss was not more than most of us have been through. As far as plot goes, I questioned her ability to get back from New York to Montana in time to help with the search. It did not seem plausible to me. This made the story be overly dramatic.

While McKenna is the last of the family to find love, I wondered if her father would find someone new in the future. That would be an interesting story, especially if his children had strong opinions.

Finding Her Montana Cowboy is a sweet homecoming story. We saw Wyatt in a previous St. Claire's book and it is cool to see him get his own book. McKenna is the long-traveling only sister of the St. Claire boys and she is a bit of a wounded soul.

Wyatt is good for McKenna. He grounds, stabilizes her, treats her gently. She is also good for him and his daughter. She provides the warmth and love - without the pity or overcaring he hates. But, they both think they want something specific out of life and those things are at cross-purposes. Plus, there's the St. Claire money.

It's not an easy road for Wyatt and McKenna and there isn't a lot of outside drama. It's all inside, so they both get nice character arcs. Love is a powerful force and when they both figure it out, it's a sweet payoff.

I liked the story well enough, and it hit a sweet spot for me, I think I'll need to go back and read the ones I haven't read yet in this series.

This series keeps getting better! Wyatt and McKenna are two people who have always ran when things got difficult. He pushes people away because he is injured and has a daughter to think about. She was a surprise to him when her mother abandoned her. McKenna never thought she wanted to settle down, until her brothers started falling in love. Losing her mother at a young age, she has always moved from place to place. When Wyatt and McKenna met for the first time they are both intrigued.
Offering help with his daughter, they start to grow closer. He is worried because he doesn't want someone else walking out if his daughter's life, but can't keep pushing her away. They agree to take things one day at a time. Everything seems to be going great, until a family emergency arises and he overhears a conversation.
There ware some really great parts in this book; add well as, heartbreaking parts. I could understand why each felt three way they did. I truly great story about accepting help when needed, moving on and letting go of the past.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

McKenna St. Claire has always been the wanderer of the family. Travelling has always been her passion but lately she's been missing her large rowdy family. That's why she's been spending a good deal of time in Marietta. Meeting the handsome former rodeo star Wyatt Emmerson is just a bonus. Problem is, the more time she spends with Wyatt and his adorable daughter the more she begins to question why she wants to leave at all. Is their love strong enough to get this wanderer to lay down roots in the small town?

Very well written and the characters are wonderful. Definitely a book I recommend.

This is a sweet, sweet book filled with great characters and believable back stories. I loved how both main characters, Wyatt and McKenna, are afraid to let anyone enter their hearts. They are totally unarmed when love really faces them, hard as they try to deny it.
Wyatt has had a world of struggles since a rodeo accident left him unable to compete any more. While he is recovering, a long ago girlfriend drops a bomb in his life in the form of a daughter. The girlfriend has decided she is not mother material and signs away Kaiti to Wyatt. Kaiti is withdrawn and very slow to get close to anyone, until she meets McKenna. Their bond is immediate much to Wyatt’s consternation. He met McKenna earlier and felt a chemistry but no way is he going to further mess up his and Kaiti’s lives by pursuing her. McKenna has been a free spirit, traveling the world looking for the next adventure. The loss of her mother has left a gaping hole in her heart that she tries to fill with travel. Finding herself back in town with her four older, settled sibling brothers causes McKenna to begin the process of re-evaluating her life and motives. Blocking her heart is a fear that loving equals losing. She is not prepared for the pull Wyatt (and Kaiti) have on her but it keeps roping her back to them.
