I loved this book and the characters, McKenna the rich girl that does not seem like one at all except that she can travel without worrying about the expense and Wyatt who was hurt bull riding and doesn’t rodeo anymore but gets by well even doing rough ranch work, and his little girl Kaitie who just steals your heart and the best part how McKenna and Kaitie are together.
If you love Western Romance like I do
this book should be right up your alley. Gotta give a big thanks to Tule publishing and Net Galley for my copy of this book.

What a sweet story! I missed out on the rest of this series and, while it's not needed to fall in love with Wyatt and McKenna, I am excited to go read the brothers' love stories. Kaiti was an absolute doll and makes the story even sweeter. McKenna is used to a lifestyle of jetting setting all over the world, but has come to her family home in Montana for the birth of her twin nephews. While she seems to have found a place she could plant herself, she is afraid to allow herself to get close to anyone in fear of them leaving- like her mother who died from cancer. When she meets Wyatt, and then his sweet girl Kaiti, McKenna is realizes she is enjoying being in one spot.

Wyatt is surprised when an ex drops of a 5 year old and says SURPRISE you are a dad! But Kaiti gave his life meaning after a horrible accident. Meeting the sister of the family he works for has Wyatt considering feelings he planned to put aside for Kaiti's sake. However, Wyatt finds Mckenna irresistible! Can he open his heart to her with the risk of hurting Kaiti?

These two both have issues that prevent them from giving their all to one another. The question is will they work through those issues or just trash them and the chance of a happy ever after?

A light, easy read set in a small-town, that stresses the importance of family bonds and values. I thought this story was sweet, perhaps a little too sweet, with interesting characters.
Wyatt is a strong, solid hero, a gorgeous devoted single father of a precious little girl, Kati. This is the case where the relationship father/daughter really makes the hero even more attractive.
I was expecting more on the wounded hero front, but Wyatt’s “woundedness” wasn’t that exploited (his hip bothers him sometimes, his facial scar was mentioned only once, I think). But his personality traits, his guardedness, the change of life style and his past make him a great character.
I found the heroine, McKenna, generous and goodhearted, but a bit pushy and even annoying (they’ve just met and she’s already drawing up a business plan for Wyatt…).
There are many parts with women and men talking about feelings, love, and the bliss of marriage and I found some of them redundant.

This was a sweet story with a wealthy heroine, McKenna St. Claire, coming back to Marietta Montana where her brothers have all found romance. She’s been wandering around the world and still trying to recover from the death of her mother. She meets a hot cowboy, Wyatt Emmerson, who is trying to make his way after having his bull-riding days finished by an accident. He’s also been surprised by an ex-girlfriend dumping a five-year-old daughter whom he didn’t know he had. He’s now devoted to being a good dad to his adorable daughter. I enjoyed the relationship between Wyatt and his daughter and how McKenna soon becomes a friend/romantic interest to the daughter and her dad.

This was my first book by Lara Van Hulzen, but I would enjoy reading more by her.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Finding Her Montana Cowboy by Lara Van Hulzen, book 4 of The Marietta St. Claire's series. This book is a great addition to the series. Lara Van Hulzen knows how to bring a story together that pulls you in. I loved the character development and the connections between the characters. I especially enjoyed reading McKenna's story and meeting Wyatt and his daughter Kaiti. I look forward to reading more about these characters and more books by this author.

Only book of this series which I have read, but I don't think that mattered.
McKenna is back in Marietta for a visit to her family before heading off on her next adventure. But then she meets Wyatt, falls for him and doesn't know if she wants to leave or not.
A quick read which left me wanting to go back and read the reat of this series.

The culmination of the St Claires of Marietta series with McKenna and Wyatt's story brought about the perfect ending. What is in typical fashion for her story telling, Ms Van Hulzen crafted a story to experience, not just read. With McKenna and Wyatt I immediately lost myself in their world, and just as quickly became invested in them and little Kaitie. Both McKenna and Wyatt have periodically cropped up during the series, it was rewarding to see them finally get their own HEA as a couple.

With gentle humor, moving moments of dialog and a familiar cast of characters, this is a story to immerse yourself in and enjoy a couple and their loved ones who embody all that one could hope for in a loving family. This author has captured real life’s loves and loses so succinctly with the pages of each book in the series. I hope to see McKenna and Wyatt, Kaitie too, pop up again in other stories involving the residents of Marietta, Montana.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
