We read about Phyllis Lewis again, featured in Mr. Wilma's book The Guardian in her continued fight against slavery. Well written.

Wow! This book was amazing. Phyllis did not fit in with others in her community due to her light skin and blue eyes. Due to this, Phyllis had to make some hard choices, which did not always work out the way she thought they would. This book was well-written.
