A good start to a new female lead PI thriller. Kate has just been released from prison after being sentence to murder, the victim being her best friend. Madison was a police officer but after a rocky background she is now a private investigator. She was on the case 6 years ago but now Kate has been released she wants Madison to look at it again because she says she innocent.
This book was well written and the plot was good, I look forward to the next book. My only downside is I like a thriller that keeps me guessing, however I worked this one out very early on. Also I didn't warm to the Madison till closer to the end of the book.
