This was such a hard hitting read, upsetting at times, but very well written. It was gripping, and so true to life. I felt deeply for Daisy and sympathised with her so often throughout this novel. I understood entirely why Daisy at first tried to make the choices that she did. How do any of us know how we would react to such traumatic physical, emotional and aesthetic personal changes? But she changed again, all due to the intervention and involvement of a therapist called Arthur. She wants only to leave this world and leave all her pain and suffering behind her but Arthur refuses to give up without a fight. This book is sad, but happy too. It shows the power that kindness. understanding and perseverance can have when they are especially needed. Daisy is a remarkable person and this is a remarkable story, one I won't forget in a hurry.

I can't say enough about how I loved this book! To me, a good story evokes feelings, and this story took me on a rollercoaster ride I did not expect. Not many books I would read a second time because there are just to many books out there to read...but this, this book is worth my time for a second read. So so very well written, I found myself lost in its pages.. You know the feeling when you look up and can't quite remember where you are you were so involved in the story. And the characters. I loved how they grew and developed as the story progressed. I would give this book a 20 star review..but guess a 5 star will have to do. Oh, and if you read it have your hankies ready and some water so you don't get dehydrated!!!!

I absolutely loved this book. It's unputdownable so make sure that when you start reading that there's no way that you're going to put down this book. I don't give out spoilers but it's one of the best books of 2018 in my opinion and one that you should pick up now. Today. Happy reading!

I received a digital ARC of  #Daisy'sChoice from #NetGalley for an honest review.

For me this is a hard book to review. It was a good story, but not one I found myself desperate to pick up and carry on reading after taking a break to do other things. It was a hard read in places due to the topics covered. It's definitely not one to read if you want something lighthearted, but then I didn't expect it to be! I found the end to be quite emotional, which I wasn't expecting. Daisy's main issue, which is a constant theme throughout the book, is that doctors talked about her and not to her about what was going to happen. There are some good thoughts and ethical dilemmas that come out of this book about patients having a right to make their own choices about their treatment. It certainly makes you think!
