This was very good, and so poignant in today's society with the evolution of the Black Lives Matters movement and the shootings and common place injustices in the United States of America. It was eye opening and truly functioned as an education for me in the area of post war racial segregation and discrimination in the USA. The horrifying thing about it is that it hasn't really evolved. Yes it for the most part has become politically incorrect to speak and behave as those who promoted racism in the sixties did but when you look at those in power, the likes of Trump, Duke, and others one wonders how true equality will ever be achieved. Joann Castle's personal experiences are as relevant today as they were fifty years ago. It is well written and I definitely recommend.
