If you are a fan of Joyce and her Confident Woman book then this would be a good add-on to have. I don't think it's essential, but the scriptures and devotions are good.
A wonderful devotional from an author we all enjoy. This will not only help keep you in the word, but will encourage women in their confidence in all that they do.
This is a devotional geared toward women overcoming low self-esteem and confidence issues. The devotionals are very brief, basically a verse, a story, and a question to ponder. Great for those who love Joyce Meyer or who want to add a brief interlude each day aimed at restoring confidence.
First, thanks to #NetGalley for the opportunity to read an e-galley of this book.
I love this devotional. For every day in the year, there is a scripture verse to read and meditate on. There is also a small devotional directing your thoughts, then ends in a short prayer.
I was really encouraged by this book.

The Confident Woman Devotional
By Joyce Meyer
Over a year, one day at a time you will have the opportunity to reflect on who you are and the Almighty’s love for you. With confidence in Him, you will ultimately see confidence in yourself. I didn’t realize I struggled so much with confidence and self-worth until I read the intro to this book and began the readings. I had a skewed reflection of myself and I was reminded that I am created by and loved greatly by God. Through His love and grace, I am able to take the devotions from this book and let them change my perceived image of myself to what God sees in me. This is a must-read for women and girls of all ages as we begin this self-reflection at an early age and it is usually through negative and unrealistic sources. It is empowering to see yourself through Gods eyes and reassuring to know your worth in Him. The readings are short with a verse and a prayer prompt to reflect on and pray about. I have no doubt that you won’t regret reading this devotional.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion which I share here. https://simplyannehere.wordpress.com
Thank you Netgalley for an ARC for honest review. Starting of the day with a devotional makes for a good day...and these from Joyce Meyer are no exception. a great way to get your day off to a good start!
Classic Joyce Meyer...Experience her gift of wisdom, realism, humor and bible basics. You will not be disappointed by this devotional.
Excellent another great Joyce Meyer book! Highly recommended for Christian women. I have always enjoyed Joyce's straight forward approach to giving advice.
I started reading this devotional with the Introduction, and I must say the author sounded like a real humble, relatable lady! Off to a good start, but then it went downhill. Week one started with an inspirational quote by Harriet Beecher Stowe and it's inspirational but gives false hope and an empty promise. There is no rule to the universe or promise from God that says the tide will turn when we think we can't hold on any longer. People die, have mental breakdowns, bodies and minds suffer trauma... Because sometimes the tide doesn't turn. All due respect to Harriet Beecher Stowe who did some amazing things. Next the devotionals. Some were great. I liked January 3rd devotional but was frustrated over the complete disconnect from the verse given. The only thing they had in common was the word confident. She says be confident about what YOU can do, 2 Kings 18:5 says put your confidence in God. January 1st and 2nd were frustrating as the author took actual events and turned it into a metaphor. There is no 'your boat' it was a real boat. January 4th passage is talking about Israel, God's chosen Nation. I hope no believer thinks they are so important that men and people's should be sacrificed for them! John 16:24 says ask and you WILL receive, not ask and then decide to receive. Even then we can ask and not according to God's will and be denied (1 John 5:14) or ask with wrong motives and be denied (James 4:3). This devotional is misleading and makes promises she has no authority to make. Sorry I can't recommend this book to anyone.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Faithwords through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
I have not been able to read all the year's entries this year but I have specifically heard God speak to me through particular reading and this makes me feel positive about recommending it. I've found this devotional to be very meaningful and I think it will be a lovely addition to any library as the new year is about to start.
An uplifting daily devotional that applies to modern experiences, backed up with biblical truths. I love Joyce Meyers ability to speak life over women and encourage them to be their best self in Christ. This devotional is no different and I found it an encouraging way to start the day. Thank you to the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

I am reviewing a copy of The Confident Woman Devotional through FaithWords and Netgalley:
In this Devotional Joyce Meyer's reminds us that God has created us to be confident and Bold, that as Christians we shouldn't have the need to compare ourselves to others.
We are encouraged not to give up and are reminded that worrying does not solve anything, that it is a waste.
The Confident Woman Devotional would make a great gift for the woman in your life needing a Devotional.
I give The Confident Woman Devotional five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
I am not one to enjoy devotionals. I don't know if I lack the discipline to read them daily, or if I just get bored easily. But when I saw that Joyce had released a devotional, I knew that I had to give it a try because it's Joyce! And I was definitely not disappointed. The Confident Woman Devotional is filled with the author's timeless wisdom and wonderful encouragement, to fill my every morning with the reassurance that I need to head out into the world. I can't imagine starting my day without it. A definite recommend.
I love the teachings of Joyce. This devotional is fresh, encouraging and inspiring. I highly recommend this to those who know their value, and especially for those who need to be built up and reminded of who they are in Christ.
This is another great book from Joyce Meyer. I like really her devotionals, they are so relatable to the everyday woman. I recommend this book to everyone.
I love this devotional! I love everything that I read from Joyce Meyer! She just has a way of writing in her books that speak to me. I highly recommend this book.
Excellent spiritual devotionals for practical, daily implementation within your life. I love Joyce Meyer's prose. Her publications are always easy to read and digest. A few of the devotionals made me yell out AMEN (well more than a few did). I enjoyed reading through them all at once however, my plan is to re-read them once a day for the next 365 days.
I received an advanced review copy (ARC) of this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
I used to love Joyce Meyer, until I realized that some of what she taught isn't biblical. I wanted to give her another try, so I decided this book would be the perfect way to do that. Again, I am disappointed. She has many great point, but her words are more self help than God help. I really hate to give low ratings/reviews but the mark of a good reviewer is an honest opinion.
I loved this devotional it is well written and easy to understand and I look forward to reading it all through the year .
Thank you Faithworks via NetGalley for the Arc of this book .I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book exchange for a fair honest review.
An amazing book that picks me up every morning. It gives you a bible verse, an encouraging story, and then a short prayer to take you through the day. takes less than 5 minutes to read every morning, and it's user friendly for everyone, whether you're just beginning a relationship with God or whether you've had it all your life. Thisvdevotional is very easy to read, it is concise and to the point. It covers many different topics from confidence, faith, and love. Written from a first person perspective, and based on Scripture, Joyce Meyer will guide you and encourage you to start every day with scripture, a prayer and an open heart to God. Another great book by Joyce Meyer
