This book was full of suspense and fun characters. You get a sweet love story and a happy ending too. There is some paranormal content, but I liked it. It fit in with the story. I would definitely read the next book!
She just keeps going and going and going. I have immensely enjoyed this series over the years. I began way back when book 1 came out and the books still manage to suck me in and surprise me in the end. Heather does use the same writing formula for this series, they story lines are all pretty similar. I am not enjoying them as much as I used to.
Thank you NetGalley and Mira for the eARC.
This was my first Heather Graham book and I wanted to read it because she's enormously popular. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy it at all. In my opinion it was boring and after reading about half of it, I gave up. Obviously my opinion is in the minority ... this just wasn't my type of read.
Marnie Davante was the star of a cult TV show. Now she is earning money off appearances signing autographs for fans of the show. She wants to earn enough money to open a children’s theatre. When one of her fellow actors is killed at a fan convention PI Bryan McFadden enters the picture. Bryan is one of 3 sons of a famous Hollywood couple who died together in a stage accident. His parents ghosts have been appearing to their sons since their deaths and they aren’t the only ghosts the boys see. Marnie soon starts seeing the ghost of her dead colleague who warns her she might be in danger. Did the killer miss his real target?
This book is part of a series but could be read on its own. I don’t usually like books with ghosts and supernatural elements but this series is an exception for me. I didn’t guess who the killer was or the reason for the murders. I look forward to the next book in the series.
Another good Krewe story by Ms. Graham. I have enjoyed the entire series and this is no exception.
Marnie Davante is working the convention shows, living off her glory days on a hit TV show. The money she earns will help her open the children’s’ theater she’s always dreamed of. Then of Manie’s fellow actors is killed right in front of her. The killer escapes and Marnie fears she may be next. Enter P.I. Bryan Mcfadden, a guy who grew up in the Hollywood game because of his parents’ careers, but this law man is all business. He’s out to solve the murder and protect Melanie, whom he believes is in serious danger. But from who….or what? Graham can always be counted on to deliver her trademark romantic, supernatural suspense
