FIRST: Can I say I am in love with Braxton?
This is the first book from this author that I have read and I was glad because it was a hit for me! While accidental pregnancies are more of a other's on my blog type of book, I thought I'd give this a try and I was VERY glad I did! Braxton is at his best friends wedding where he meets the bride's best friend, Cara. One night of letting go and the next morning Cara is feeling embarrassed. Welllllll.......what's a night of recklessness without a small surprise? Yep Cara is preggers! This story follows two people who now are going to raise a baby together and they now need to get to know each other. Braxton is a sexy, tatted and an alpha so what more could you mant? Cara is insecure at times but I loved the relationship that blossomed between these two! This was a win for me all the way!

So this was my first read from the author but definitely not the last. I absolutely loved this book! I was sucked in right away. It was written amazingly well! The characters were very well developed and it gives enough back story so you feel like you really know them.

It is about Cara and Braxton, who hook up at their best friend's wedding, and she obviously gets Knocked Up.

Cara is just now trying to live HER life instead of a life others want her to live.

Braxton is a tattoo artist, business man who has no intention of starting anything serious!

But their chemistry throughout this book , feels like it literally jumps off the pages!
I also love the fact that they both fight for what they want.

Knocked up was a fast paced read that keeps you turning the pages. This is the first book I've read by Ms. Lynn and I will definitely be checking out her other works in the near future.

Braxton and Cara have great chemistry and they balance each others personalities. There was a few moments that had me shaking my head but overall this was an enjoyable read.

4.5 Stars
Knocked Up is a story of a girl and the guy who accidentally knocks her up. Neither Cara nor Braxton planned on seeing each other after they hooked up at their best friends' wedding. Several weeks later, Cara comes to terms with the fact that she has to track down her one night stand to tell him she's pregnant. Braxton surprises Cara by the level of involvement he wants. Braxton's determined to have more than just a baby with Cara, so he sets out to get to know her and create the family he's never had.

Knocked Up is the first book I've read by Stacey Lynn. The blurb is what convinced me to pick it up. The idea of two people hooking up at their best friends' wedding and ending up pregnant sounded cute. It totally was. Cara was a young woman learning to stand on her own. She was very unsure what life held for her, but she knew how to make the best of things and do what was best for her. Braxton was this guy with a tough exterior and soft interior. I loved how he wanted to take care of Cara for all of the right reasons. Braxton and Cara were far from perfect, but they were perfect for each other.

This book wasn't all cuteness, though. It also had some deep moments. Both Cara and Braxton had some tough issues they were dealing with from their past. Initially, some of those things kept them apart. In the end, their differences brought them together even more. How they worked through all of their problems made me fall even more in love with their romance than I already was.

I'm happy I decide to give Knocked Up a try. It was a fun read. I loved Stacey Flynn's writing. I'm looking forward to going back to read the first book in this series. I've already requested it from my local library.

I love Stacey Lynn’s writing. It is just the perfect amount of substance mixed with steamy scenes. Her stories are always filled with emotions that people can relate to. This book isn’t any different. This is the story of Cara and Braxton.

Cara is 24 years old and living on her own with no support from her family. Her parents don’t approve of her since her brother was considered the golden child. Braxton is a moody, sexy, successful tattoo artist. He meets Cara at mural friend’s wedding. They hit it off and hooked up. Fast forward six weeks and now Cara finds herself pregnant and having to tell her one night stand that the baby is his.

This book is just another example of Stacey Lynn’s ability to write an awesome contemporary story with just the right amount of sexy and emotions. I would definitely recommend this book!!

An easy, fun, summer read that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. Lynn had strong and, at times, hilarious characters with an adorable plot that mixed so well to create the HEA every person needs a dose of in their daily lives. If you're a fan of romance books, I would suggest checking this one out today.

I read this book very quickly. It was a super quick and easy read. I really enjoyed it for the most part. I loved Braxton (even though it was confusing to have him named Braxton when she was pregnant, because well, Braxton-Hicks). The only issue I really had with it was Cara. She drove me kind of insane. The little twist that had their relationship being put to the test (no spoilers, it happens in all romance) was kind of ridiculous, in my opinion. She was being overdramatic. But that's just my personal opinion. Overall I still enjoyed this book.

A good solid romance. I liked the main characters of Braxton and Cara. Not your typical "oops there's a baby romance."

Omg!! I loved everything about this book!! Knocked Up is a great read. I literally could not put it down!! I stayed up most of the night hoping to finish, not caring in the least that I had to be up only a few hours later!!

Cara Ana Braxton have off the charts chemistry! Braxton is the bad boy-looking tattoo artist, but in actuality he is a sweet, caring man with the heart of gold. He may look tough but he fosters dogs in need. I’m other words, the sexiest man there could be!! I loved him so much! The way he is with Cara is so heart warming!!

Cara, she’s a different story altogether. While I did like her character, at times, I felt like she was too stubborn. I know she had a right to stand her ground but she fought her attraction to Braxton a little too much.

This was another great read by Stacey Lynn. I can’t wait to read what else she has in store for us!

Secret, surprise, or pregnancy any time in a book is something I like in a storyline. Wondering how the characters will feel and react to the news is always a guessing game that I'm up for. How their family and friends will take the news makes it that much better. So when I came across this book and the blurb gave us an idea of how this storyline was going to play out I was excited to see if what I thought was going to happen was how the author will write it or not. While this book went how I expected it to there were some twists that came along that kept it interesting.

Cara was not a character that I really felt connected to. She wasn't very put together and was sort of gliding through life with no real direction. While this worked for the storyline she didn't really appeal to me personally. Braxton was the opposite of most characters we see that have his background. He was settled and secure in who he was and what he was worth. He really spoke to me and made it easy for me to love him.

This book had an entire eclectic cast of characters that when meshed together made for a fun and interesting read. Braxton's band of misfits and Cara's upperclass friends kind of crashed together giving this book a real feeling of true life. The storyline wasn't easy but, it was real.

Braxton: I should probably be dead or in jail right now. Instead, thanks to some tough love, I worked my ass off and now I own a string of tattoo parlors throughout the Pacific Northwest. And yet the one thing I’ve always wanted a family still seems out of reach. When my best friend gets married, I’m just hoping to blow off some steam with the super-hot maid of honor. But after Cara Thompson tracks me down to tell me she’s pregnant, she’s more surprised than I am when I tell her I’m all in.When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book in one day.Stacey Lynn is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

This was my first read by this author. It was well written. The blurb kind of sums everything up which made the story drag a bit. There was little push/pull between H/h and very little angst. It was a safe and light read all the way around.

Cora and Braxton met at their best friends' wedding. Being strangers, Cora decided to do something out of her character and have a one night stand. Now she's in a delicate condition with no clue how to contact her one time lover. With some help with her friends, Cora finds out how different her new baby daddy is from what she's used to. Can they tolerate each other enough to raise a baby together?

This is one of my favorite tropes in romance, but with something that is so prevalent in the genre it NEEDS to have something unique. Unfortunately, this book is full of overused developments. One night stand, wrong side of the tracks, heroine living in squalor, non-supportive and non-affectionate parents, etc. It's all in here.

The entire plot is solely focused on the pregnancy and the ramifications of it. There is a need for subplots and more character developments. The story just follows a very predictable relationship and it left me wishing there was something more to make this memorable.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Cara Thompson grew up in a privileged world, but it came with a serious price, her parents had her future planned out for her and she was to do as they expected, no if's and's or but's. She tried to follow the path they set before her, but it made her unhappy and it wasn't what she saw for her future, so she informed them she was paving her own path, and they were to deal with it... which didn't go over so well, they pretty much disowned her. So finding out now that her path landed her pregnant, unwed, and living with the babies father Braxton will probably earn her some serious favorite daughter points, but she's found her happiness and that is all that matters.

Braxton Henley spent one of the most amazing weekends with Cara, at his friends wedding, but before morning came around she bailed on him, and didn't leave him her number for a repeat get-together. The memory of her has haunted him since, she was a one of a kind woman, and he would die to have another chance with her, but her leaving pretty much told him what they shared wasn't going to happen again. Then she takes him by surprise and randomly shows up at his tattoo shop, with some unexpected news that rocks his world... he's going to be a daddy. After he gets over the initial shock he starts to really like the idea of sharing this new path in life with her, but she doesn't seem to have the same outlook on the situation... but he has every intention of changing her mind!

Knocked Up is an enchanting tale that will lure you in from the first page, and keep you captivated until the last... it was unputdownable! I loved the premise of this one, opposites attract sharing an unexpected night, then finding that said night bound them together for the rest of their lives, and eventually creating an happily ever after out of it, ya it was all pretty amazing! After reading the synopsis for this one I knew it was going to be a fun read to devour, and boy was I right, it was sweet, and a little on the hot side! Highly recommend this one, it's sure to leave your heart happy!

I requested an advanced copy of this title and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Eh...this book was just okay and honestly pretty boring. Everything you read in the blurb is what happens; there's no real surprises in this book.

Guy and girl have a one night stand at their best friends' wedding. Girl ends up pregnant and goes to tell guy about it who is thrilled even though he's had no contact with her since the one night stand.

The entire story surrounds her pregnancy: morning sickness, doctor appointments, living arrangements, etc.... I expected some drama or something considering these two barely knew each other before they get back together. But there wasn't...they had one minor fight and that was it.

I wish we would have gotten a prologue...a chapter about what that one night stand was like and what was going through their heads especially the next morning. But we didn't get anything, not even a real flashback of that night.

It was a cute story as a whole, I just felt it needed more.

A super cute book, that shows opposites, clearly are attracted to each other. After their mutual best friends wedding, these two have a one-night stand with the promise of more. Life happens and it doesn't work out. Fast forward six weeks, and you guess it, she's "knocked up" This book really takes the if life gives you lemons approach, and it was light hearted, but not so light hearted that the author tried to brush off the severity of the consequences. Told in dual pov, this is a great book to read if you don't have to be bogged down with something heavy.
