Absolutely loved this book. I loved the banter between the two. While there were moments I would have loved to whack both upside the head, I can see why they were acting the way they did throughout. There was witty banter and great passion. Overall, a fun and enjoyable read!

LOVED this book! I found it so refreshing to read a book where the hero isn't a commitmentphobe and is actually craving a permanent relationship and family. While the relationship between Braxton and Cara may not have had a traditional beginning I thought they worked wonderfully together and that they could make it if they gave it a chance. I also really liked how Braxton didn't really fit the first impression everyone has of him. He may look like a tatted up bad boy but his heart is big and he loves hard. I couldn't help but cheer for Braxton and Cara to find a way to make things work.

I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Ms. Lynn's work is never a disappointment. This was a fast paced book and totally enjoyed the characters. Cara and Braxton meet at a friends wedding and a night together changes both of there lives. The chemistry with the two is great. Cara has walked away from her money to be happy and go after her dreams of art. Braxton a tattoo artist who has done good in life but still holds on to the past. Neither feel strong in life when it comes to relationships. Doesn't help they each have people trying to feed them a bunch of lies to keep them apart. Just enough drama to keep it interesting but not drag on.
Look forward to more of her work. Honest review in exchange for ARC.

I loved this book so much, I read it in a single sitting! Knocked Up is another easy, feel-good read from Stacey Lynn.

The book opens six weeks after maid-of-honor Cara and best man Braxton have a one-night stand at their best friends' wedding... and she realizes that she's pregnant. Cara's life is a bit of a disaster, but she steps up and tracks down Braxton to share her news... and the hatefest begins. It's not even so much that Brax hates her; he's just disappointed that the connection he thought they had the night of the wedding turned out to be another poor little rich girl "slumming it" with a tatted-up thug.

But how wrong Braxton is! Cara hasn't been able to stop thinking about Braxton, just as she's constantly been on his mind. These two have some hills to overcome in the beginning, but once they begin officially dating, Brax turns out to be such a loyal, sweet, kind gentleman. The issues that both of them have, based on their past, leads to an epic argument and break-up -- but the sweetest of sweet makeups and a wonderful HEA that made me cry.

This story is opposites-attract perfection! I just wish that the cover model matched tattoo god Braxton! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Cara isn’t one to do one night stands or be wild. She comes from a family with money but she could never do anything right according to her parents even when she was doing everything they wanted and more. When her twin brother passed away he tells her to Live. Live for both of them and be true to you. So at her best friends wedding she meets this guy and throws everything to the wind and has the best night of her life. But now she is pregnant.
Braxton didn’t come from loving parents or from money But was taken in by a guy who taught him the right way to live. And when he passed left him all he had which he was able to by a place to live and a place to run his ink business.
When cara goes to tell him she is pregnant I love how he takes care of her. They both of things they need to work on and from that night but they can’t deny the attraction. Cara didn’t think past telling him she is pregnant but they both get more than what they were ever expecting. Book given to me by author on netgalley.

this was a cute, short, easy read. i felt the same about it as i did the first one in the series, i think. nothing really stands out as being amazing, but unfortunately a few things annoyed me - like the fact that he slept with another woman - okay, yes, they weren't together, he thought she was gone from his life completely, how was he to know blah blah but he makes a comment about how he was trying to fuck her out of his system, but then makes another comment about the girl anna was the only one he slept with. or maybe i read it wrong. either way, if he was that hung up on her, maybe he could have kept it in his pants for a couple months. it wasn't a year or anything. but okay, that's not the END of the world, it doesn't normally annoy me, but it did this time because of what he says about how he can't get her off his mind. so could have done without that, could have done without the OW drama (aforementioned anna). there was a lot of unnecessary angst in this one - the misunderstanding after the one night stand, OW, Stella, the parents, graham.. it was just a lot. and yes, braxton acted like an asshole with all the graham stuff, but cara was all of a sudden TSTL and didn't think about telling him? you were supposed to be at dinner with your parents, yes you told him you'd leave if they insulted you, but you don't think he has a right to know if you leave and go somewhere else? especially because he said call me the minute you leave? that means charge your phone before you go out! ugh! rage. no, he didn't give her a chance to explain, but if my guy was 'not giving me a chance to explain' i'd scream over him until he heard me.. but maybe that's just me. i'm a fighter not a lover. i can't handle miscommunication/misunderstanding in real life. it works in books because it's necessary, but like i said - it was just a lot.

anyway. this was not awful. at all. it was cute and passed the time well enough. sorry if it sounds like i am shitting on it, i don't mean to. the ending was cute.

It's a pretty rare thing that I feel attached to a book and it's characters. Stacey Lynn wrote a beautiful and believable love story that will absolutely pull at your heart. Simply put, Knocked Up is about as good as a book can get. Cara and Braxton are exactly what I want when I read romance. Their life is messy and the path to falling in love is bumpy but so so grounded. No Insta love with crazy backstories. It's just two people faced with learning about each other as they share the frightening and exciting experience of becoming parents. I love love this book. If I hadn't already been a fan, this book would have made me one. I am snatching this one the second it is available for my keep shelf.

First I have to say that the story itself was enjoyable and true to Stacey's writing style it didn't take long to get sucked into the story and develop an understanding of the characters. I think that the biggest issue with the story was that, as a resident of the Portland area, I had a hard time seeing the city as it was described through the book. I don't remember having the same issue with the previous book so I could have paid more attention to the setting in this story than the previous.

Aside from feeling that something was off the story was great. I laughed, I got emotional, I wanted to reach into the book and shake the characters a few times. I loved watching these two find their place with one another, even if I did think they were never going to find their way at a few parts. Overall the story was great and I'm looking forward to Stacey's next book.

This book was everything! Braxton is a perfect alpha bad boy with a soft squishy heart, and while Cara is determined not to be a 'damsel in distress' she can't avoid the fact that she needs Braxton and his brand of patience and gentleness.

These two have quite the whirlwind romance! First, their memorable one-night stand that ended on a note of miscommunication, then their chemistry-fueled insta-family with a side of not-repeating-my-parents'-mistakes and a dash of jumping-to-conclusions. It all ends beautifully with a poignant HEA and a pick-your-own-family arrangement that will make all their dreams come true.

Cara's inner strength really shines through, and Braxton's determination to be the best man he can be is simply heroic. I loved all of the secondary characters, too, even the bristly Stella, whose main job was to remind Braxton not to forget just how big his heart really is.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book through NetGalley.

I loved the first book in this series, Fake Wife, so I was excited for Knocked Up. It did not disappoint. Who doesn’t love a surprise pregnancy from a one-night-stand romance?? (That’s a rhetorical question.) Braxton is pretty darn dreamy. He steps up to the plate when Cara ends up pregnant, and he falls for her hard. He’s sweet, sexy and caring. They, of course, have some issues to work through, but Stacey Lynn doesn’t add any unnecessary drama and ensures this romance is sigh-worthy, steamy and entertaining.

This was a one night stand gets the girl pregnant-- and then they try to have a relationship for the sake of the baby romance-- I guess that's a genre. LOL. It was an enjoyable read. Was it surprising or the best book I ever read? No. I would definitely read more by this author. It was an easy read. I do believe the person who did the cover art should probably have read a description of the characters though....

This book was a fantastic read! It kept me engrossed the entire time! Braxton is the kind of man I dream about! Tall handsome and covered in tattoos! He comes off as a bad boy but once you get to know him you fall for him. You are routing for Braxton and Cara! Now Cara is a sweet and gentle person. She sees the situation she is put in, getting pregnant after a one night stand and is completely brave through the entire book. Cara came from money but what you learn is that money can't buy happiness. Her family is rotten and I am so happy she has friends that are like family. This story was a really great read and I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good Romance story.

Knocked up is an easy sweet read.
My issue with the book is that the cover doesnt match the characters. Braxton in the book is described to be tatted up but in the Male cover model looks like a preppy.
Cara and Braxton hook up and have a one night stand at their bestfriends wedding. Cara feeling ashamed even after having the best sex of her (she's never had a one night stand before ) runs out the next morning while thinking Braxton is still asleep. Little did they both know is that its wasnt going to be the last they see of eachother.
As you can guess from the title Cara gets knocked up, and needs to tell Braxton. Can they make this work and get their HEA?

Thanks for a ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

After a one night stand in which two people want more but have the wrong views of each other find out months later that there's a third on the way. I enjoyed this book far more than I would normally just because of the chemistry between the two. Braxton was a tattoo artist and an all around great guy due to an up bringing that was less than genteel but saved due to the kindness of one person. Cara was brought up in money but her situation was less than ideal because her parents were not maternal.

Braxton...what a hottie guy! The name gave me pause though cause when you write a book about being knocked up I think of Braxton Hicks contractions. Besides that I thought Braxton was a stand up guy who takes care of his messes.

Cara did well with what she had and her spirit amazed me. Puking during morning sickness for months and she still managed to go to work. Her parents didn't seem to be on the same page but she had great friends. I enjoyed the book, the situations were cute, plausible, and who doesn't like a HEA!
Four stars of entertainment!

Cara Thompson has just used six pregnancy tests to confirm what she knew after the first one. She was pregnant. A one night stand with the Best Man at her best friends wedding, and so far out of her normal it’s not even in the same stratosphere. It was awesome, but fearing “the morning after” snuck away in the night.

Braxton Henley, sought after tattoo artist, owner of multiple tattoo parlors and all around nice guy, really enjoyed the romp with Cara. So much so he was disappointed when she disappeared. He thought they were special....guess not. But, Karma has an amazing sense of humor and has made it impossible to walk away from each other. When she confessed her pregnancy, he was actually excited. He has wanted a family, perhaps not so quickly, but his own childhood had been so lacking he wanted more. If not for a giant of a man taking him under his wing, he would probably be in jail. Cara on the other hand had a privileged childhood, but found nothing but disdain from her parents. After her twin brother died, she struck out on her own, now works in an artist gallery, and paints for the pure joy of it. But, lives in a crappy apartment she can afford. Once Braxton finds out, her knight in shining armor wants to whisk her away to his penthouse in the sky and keep her safe and protected. Only one problem, she finally found her independence and really doesn’t want to give it up.
The pregnancy ups and downs are hilariously chronicled, and Braxton will obviously be a wonderful father, who Cara is falling in love with. But, fighting her parents and outside influences are difficult.

This is a beautiful, funny, romantic love story. It’s an easy read and the characters are wonderful. I definitely recommend this delightful story.

I received an ARC from Netgalley.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review

Cara Thompson is the proverbial poor rich girl. She and her twin, Jimmy were raised by nannies, as their high power wealthy attorney parents had no time for them. Jimmy was the "golden child", while their parents disproved of every decision that Cara made. Both twins were expected to go to law school and then join the prestigious family corporate law firm. Jimmy loved it, but she preferred art. Jimmy recently died of leukemia, but on his death bed made her promise to get away from their parents and live her own life. Which she does. After the funeral she moved out of her parents house, quit law school and has been struggling as a artist and working at Galli's Galleria. She lets herself loose at her her best friend's wedding having her first one-night stand with the best man, Braxton Henley. Not knowing one-night stand etiquette, she flees the room before he wakes up, muttering something about her being a disaster, but what he hears is that the situation with him was a disaster.
Braxton is the owner of MadInk, a tattoo parlor. His mother was a drug addict. But a man in the neighborhood, Irvin Teller, took him and his "sister of the heart" Stella under his wing and became their mentor. He also left him the beneficiary of millions of dollars of investments and insurance, half of which he gave to Stella and with which they opened MadInk, a tattoo parlor. He has dyslexia so while he is the artist, Stella handles the books. (This is the second book that I have read this week in which a main character has dyslexia and compensated by becoming an artist. But that was a historical novel, before dyslexia was a diagnosed condition.)
While angry at her departure from the hotel room, he nevertheless has not been able to get her out of his mind, so while he is angry about her supposed opinion of him, he intends to be this baby's father. The chemistry is there, but can they get over their preconceived assumptions of the other, to build trust and honesty so they can have their HEA?

I enjoyed reading this story. The characters are engaging and real as is the situation. The one con is the cover. Braxton is covered in ink (not something that I personally find appealing, but that is a large part of the story), so why is the cover model not inked? There are lots of models and stock covers with inked men, so why did the publisher chose this one? Pretty sure it wasn't the author's decision.

Wonderfully written, smart and sexy

This is the 6th book I've read by Stacey Lynn and each time she surprises me with the twist and turns of her plot and her unique characters.
I loved the believable dialogue between Braxton and Cara who have amazing chemistry but past baggage that sometimes gets in their way. This is a solid story of how trust and love can lead the way to a wonderful if unexpected pairing. I look forward to reading the next book in the Crazy Love series.

Yes! This "Baby Surprise" romance book is a new favorite I have read by Stacey Lynn. I knew Braxton and Cara would be trouble. Cara with her "classy and priviledged" upbringing and Braxton with his bad boy persona and tattoos. You would not think these two would be anything more than a one night stand. But with a "Oops Baby" on the way, Cora is ready to put on the big girl pants and let Braxton know he is going to be a dad.

Cora has a rough time from the get go. Braxton feels that Cora used him in the past. The chemistry is over the charts and you will go on a heck of a journey with these two. Their friends, Jenna and Dan, are amazing as always. Braxton's friends are his family and they love fierce.

Knocked Baby is a great book written by an amazing author. The new Crazy Love series are seriously addicting!

4 1/2 Stars!

Braxton and Cara hooked up at their friends wedding and a few weeks later, Cara finds out she's pregnant. She knows she has to tell Braxton ... eventually. Cara's scared he won't even remember her and think she's trying to rope him in. Braxton thought he was Cara's dirty little secret and that she only wanted him that one night. But when he finds out that was not the case and she is pregnant with his child, he doesn't know what to believe.

This is a cute romance that will win your heart over. Both Braxton and Cara were very likable characters and it didn't take long for me to fall in love with them. The only thing was that I didn't think the cover represented Braxton AT ALL. When I read a book, if there are people on the front of it I assume that is what the characters looks like ... but that is so not the case here. In the book Braxton had short black hair and has tattoos all over his torso, arms and neck ... and the guy on the cover doesn't even have one tattoo. I know that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover because it's what inside that counts ... and this book has a GREAT inside!
