Great, heart-warming characters. Very interesting plot. Vivid descriptions. I felt every emotion. Just enough romance. Kept me intrigued from the first page to the last. Simply a GREAT read!

I found this to be rather brilliant and loved the characters. Tess Angel is a gorgeous woman who has her life planned out, but unfortunately a plane crash has her stranded in Zahkim. Her pilot has a broken leg and she has heat exhaustion. Sheik Tarek has been in Oxford and graduated, an old woman accosts him and tells him that an angel will fall out of the sky and he will fall in love and marry her. When he comes across Tess Angel, he doesn't believe in fate but statistics and numbers. Will they ever get it together on their own or will fate & destiny intervene.

Sheikh Tarek of Zahkim and Tess are tossed together by fate per his grandmother's belief. Good storyline and enjoyed these Character's journey to love.

The female character was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed Tess’s background & her independence. It was refreshing to read.

Highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic journey filled with intersting charters and landscape, desire and passion. Sheikh Tarek of Zahkim is a strong sexy alpha male that does not believe in fate or superstitions. Tess Angel crash lands in Zahkim and is shocked to realize that sheikh Tarek may just be her soul mate. (and does not believe in such things) Their chemistry is undeniable and the fight they wage is very exciting. Looking forward to more from Zahkim.

This was another great read by Leslie North. I am a huge fan and this book did not disappoint. From a prophecy about love came believers and non believers and the steps the believers take to help that prophecy come true!

She was an angel who fell from the sky that could possibly save his country. Tarek has a difficult time believing this prophecy could be true. Did she have the ability to save them and free his heart from the grip he places on it? Great start to a new series.

As always, I loved Leslie North's latest series on the Zahkim's Sheikhs. In the Captive American we meet Tarek, who is partying with his two friends in England, just before he is supposed to take over the reign as Sheikh of Zahkim. He encounters a strange old lady who tells him a prophecy: an Angel will fall from the sky and she will save his kingdom if he falls for her. Tarek, man of logic and order, does not believe a word she says.
But when a few years later Tess Angel crashes with her plane and pilot in his kingdom, Tarek's grandmother is convinced she is the one from the prophecy. And therefore, she tries to keep Tess in their kingdom. Tess is attracted to the mysterious Sheikh, but she is not used to his way of ruling a kingdom. As CEO of her own build company, she has a different point of view on how to rule your business.
Will they overcome their differences and is the attraction mutual? Find out in this wonderful read from Leslie North. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you for Netgalley for providing the arc.

love this series and can't wait to read the rest of it, this might be one of my favorite series yet by her, with that said I want to say thinks to Netgalley for giving me a change to read The Sheikh's Captive American in change for my honest opinion

One thing I am growing to love about this author is that she packs ALOT into a relatively quick read !!

I am a sucker for a sheik romance & I loved this book !! Tarik & Tess are great characters . I love that Tess is feisty & very successful - quite a handful for Tarik. Leslie North writes very strong female characters up to the challenge of any male thrown her way ...

First book - standalone in a series of 3!!

What a fun book with Tess Angel who "falls" from the sky when her plane crashes into Tarek's country. He is so formal and in control that he doesn't like it when he is attracted to Tess. Good thing his grandmother is willing to manipulate events so that Tess stays longer than necessary and while they fall for each other, Tarek is not willing to commit so Tess leaves.

Loved the ending as Tarek really needed a BIG apology if he was going to get Tess back!! Great HEA!

What a fun, sweet and sexy book! I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I think that added fun from the prophecy was great. I can't wait for the next one.

When Tess's jet crashes in Zahkim she meets Tarek and they are immediately attracted to each other. Tess believes he could be her soulmate but, he doesn't believe in love. Eventhough he is drawn to her he doesn't believe that there is a future for them. They are from to different worlds. Will their love be enough to keep them together?

I'm not normally a fan of "Sheikh" and "American girl" romances but this was a fast , easy light read and perfect for an afternoon. The plot was a stretch but it is fiction. I just couldn't quite get to accepting that a middle eastern country would be willing to listen to an American female in trying to resolve goverment conflicts. Sheik Tarek and Tess had great chemistry and I loved the fact that the heroine was a strong figure. I received a free copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This story gave me the action, romance, tension and resolution all at once!
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. Romance lovers would swoon at this and let me just say that what I found different in this book was how quick Tarek and Tess jumped each others bones.

I love the idea of this book. It made for such a great story. Terek's prophecy about a fallen Angel saving his country, has come true. Now it is up to him to see that it plays out the way that he needs, not just his country.
