Tons of tasty recipes for lunch, dinner, breakfast, sides and desserts! Pretty easy to follow. Thank you , I can't wait to try them out!

This cookbook is filled with a ton of tasty recipes all for the slow cooker. There are recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, sides, and desserts. The recipes are all pretty simple to slap together then cook in the sow cooker.
The book is broken down by section and has wonderful pictures of the finished recipe. I personally am hungry after looking through this book. I have also listed several recipes I will be trying.
I received this book from the Author or Publisher via Netgalley.com to read and review.

A beautifully photographed slow cooker cookbook. I'm constantly looking for new recipes to cook in my slow cooker so we don't have to eat the same meal over and over again. While I haven't tried any of the recipes yet, I've already marked a few for future meals.

THE FAMILY TABLE SLOW COOKER by Dominique DeVito is filled with relatively easy recipes and beautiful images for foods ranging from breakfast through appetizers, soups, main dishes and desserts. I think this cookbook would definitely give less experienced cooks some ideas and certainly stretches use of a slow cooker. However, I really noticed the lack of any nutritional information for individual recipes. In the past, that might not have been as much of an issue, but my family is trying to choose healthier foods and limit calorie intake so we are coming to rely on that data. This cookbook also seemed to contain a number of recipes that required 4 or 5 hours of cooking. For me, that's an awkward amount – too short for a full-time working family and yet rather long when one is trying to get dinner on the table. I recognize that varying the cooking temperature could speed the preparation and might work for you. There is a wonderful preview available through amazon's "look inside" – have a glance at recipes like Oatmeal with Pumpkin, Crustless Spinach Quiche, or Seasoned Mini Meatballs and then decide if THE FAMILY TABLE SLOW COOKER fits your family’s needs and lifestyle.

This is one of the best slow cooker cookbooks I have ever read. The recipes are simple and easy to read. The pictures are great and can instantly make you hungry if you weren't just by looking at the recipes! One thing to know, these are not your regular slow cooker recipes. There are many gourmet type recipes, ones that go along with current food trends. There are all kinds of foods - appetizers, soups, desserts, meals, etc. This is one great cookbook!

And this just helps me get through meal times, usually dinner. So why the The Family Table Slow Cooker? I mean, don't you just chuck everything into the cooker and let it stew? Technically that is still true, but a slow cooker than do more than just stew okay!
One of the recipes that I fancy is the mashed potatoes. Don't laugh, but if you wake up early, chuck the potatoes in the pot and do what it says, by lunch time you would at least get mashed potatoes. All you have to do is grill some sausages, and viola! Lunch. Going out for lunch? the recipe includes baked potatoes and fritata, which can be part of dinner. For us in Autumn/ Winter where it's cold and soup soups delicious? There's a recipe for that too!

I received a free e-copy of The Family Table Slow Cooker: Easy, healthy and delicious recipes for every day from NetGalley for my honest review.
I have always been a huge fan of the slow cooker. I also have a huge collection of different slow cooker recipe books. This book is one I will be purchasing a hard copy of for my collection. Wonderful instructions, bright colors and beautiful pictures. Fantastic healthy and delicious recipes including: breakfasts, appetizers, soups, side dishes, main dishes, seafood and desserts. Some of my favorite recipes so far include banana oatmeal, oatmeal with pumpkin, crustless mushroom and onion quiche, cauliflower italiano, braised baby artichokes with prosciutto, stuffed mushrooms, curried cauliflower, curried carrot soup, mad-good mushroom risotto, simply sensational roast chicken, baked peaches and chocolate fondue.

I really enjoyed this cookbook filled with lots of great ideas for healthy cooking in the crockpot/slow cooker. I can't wait to make some of the meals shown!

Everything looks scrumptious, i loved the photographs! The banana oatmeal and pumpkin oatmeal used ingredients that a dieter can use and enjoy, which impressed me!
The cauliflower Italiano and curried cauliflower looked deliciuos, used readily available ingredients and they are both good for you! There are some unusual recipes too, like escargot and pumpkin and pear soup that look fun to try!
There is something for everyone - from Manhattan clam chowder to duck a l’orange and even leg of lamb!
Have fun and leave the cooking to the crock pot!

Wonderfully delicious meals! Easy to follow directions! Can't wait to try!!
