Such a hot and quick read! Smart and well thought out. This is def a read erotica not learn erotica.
Didn't like the MC every thought poised as a question was irritating. Evie didn't seem to have any character growth and just used everyone around her. Very quick read though. Copy kindly provided by netgalley in exchange for honest opinion.
This is the story of Evie Brown and Cameron Slade. Evie is Cameron's teacher. One day after class they have this encounter that starts the spiral of thoughts of maybe these characters could start a relationship, despite Evie having a friend with benefits and Cameron is a young college student trying to figure out his life. This book should have been a short story that just included chapter one. I did not care to continue the plot beyond that chapter. The characters had a brief encounter that should not happen again. They have a secret that would be taken to the grave, never to be spoken of again. That was an intriguing storyline, if the author would have stopped there. But she continued to drag it along.
There was not much character development that wanted me to get attached to these characters. Evie reeked to desperation. She went through a divorce. She felt old and seemed to be going through a midlife crisis. She was not satisfied with her life so she daydreamed about a student to pass the time. She was also confused about her sexuality. She never thought she would be attracted to men again but she finds herself unable to get Cameron out of her system. Cameron was a young man obsessed with his first crush. She wanted a little boy and he wanted a woman that was out of his league.
The author wrote that she is a believer of romantic tension and emotional power in her stories will keep the readers hooked. I did not perceive any of those aspects in this book. I would not recommend this book. I might read this author again but this is not the book that will hook me into her style.
A hot reading for me! The story is hot, filled with different sensation, giving readers a feeling close to the characters. Love how the author writes the story, she did an excellent job, waiting for the next book in the series.
Recently divorced and horny college professor plays with herself after class, only to find the student she’s lusting for watching her. But even though she’s tempted, she wants someone else.
First and foremost, this is told in present tense. I’ve liked such stories before, but this time it’s throwing me off.
Like most bdsm stories–as opposed to regular romance–this includes a lot of psychological examination, especially in light of her past. What annoys me is that there’s no actual ending. She’s vacillating between her lover and her student, even though the former no longer wants to be with her, but it leaves off without any closure, making me wonder what was the point the author wanted to share. The only possibility I can think of is that it was left that way for a sequel, which is not an acceptable reason.
this book made no sense. it seemed to skip all over the place and the writing seemed very stilted. none of the actions the characters made seemed rational.
I overall enjoyed the story. I did feel like that MC was very one dimensional. If the story was longer I believe we could have seen the MC grow. I enjoyed the detail of each scene. Definitely would have made me blush if I had read it in public
Good story but not really anything very original. There are plenty of these kind of stories in the marketplace that to stand out there should be something that really captivates the reader. Good but not one I would go looking for.
Mature academic divorces her husband and has amazing sex with the students at college. In this poetic and hot romp of passion Suzanne Jefferies gives more than value for money. Watched is a book that is small but simply perfect, not a word I would add or delete. I loved all those young characters who meet the passionate delights of the professor. Trust me this is brilliant from start to finish.
Quick, steamy novella with surprisingly complex characters considering how short this book is. I enjoyed Evie's journey as a newly divorced woman who after 20 years is trying to figure out who she is as a person. You could really feel her struggle and the conflict constantly running through her mind. I didn't really know what to expect and was kept on my toes until the very end. Some really steamy sexy times, but beautifully written. This book was a very pleasant surprise.

Newly divorced Professor Evie Brown notices her student Cameron Slade and how attentive he seems, so totally unlike her ex-husband. Cameron is also delicious to look at, all taut body, broad shoulders, and hot eyes. He’s forbidden territory, but one late afternoon as she pleasures herself in an empty lecture hall, she looks up to find she’s not alone. He’s there…watching her. When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book in one day.Suzanne is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of her books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.
I liked the book but I wanted more. I want to know what happens to both main characters.
This was a quick, fun, sexy read. It’s not a book for a storyline, so don’t read if that is what you’re expecting. Read if you want something fast and naughty.
This book was alright and if you've never read an erotic novel before it's not bad. However I've read a few and it wasn't the best one. I did like the main characters however I felt that their relationship was a little odd. There were also parts of the book that I felt out of place, and the story line itself was a little hard to follow. I enjoy erotic books with an actual story however this one was more just sex to have sex in the story it seemed. Not the best.
This story is a lesson in the art of a slow burn - lots of will they/won’t they, keeping the reader on the edge. I found myself wanting more - more background on the MCs, more detail on their lives. I didn’t really understand why Evie made the choice that she did in the end - the scene at the club and her wanting to participate seemed sudden and didn’t fit her character. But all in all, it was an intriguing read.
Great read! I would certainly recommend, very erotic and descriptive. It appealed to my tastes and I loved every minute of it!
