A Survival Guide for Those With Psychic Abilities and Don’t Know What to do with Them by Lisa Anne Rooney

240 Pages
Publisher: Llewellyn Worldwide Ltd, Llewellyn Publications
Release Date: August 8, 2018

Nonfiction (Adult), Religion, Spirituality, Memoirs, Psychic Abilities

Lisa talks about what it is like to live with psychic abilities. She realized as a young child she had these abilities but because of her Catholic religion, she did not discuss it with other people. She describes how her work is 24/7 but is most active during the dead time of 3am to 4am. She talks about the importance of listening to your intuition.

Hearing about her childhood sounds like a scene from the movie The Sixth Sense. She and her husband worked at a haunted mountain hotel. It reminded me of the Shining by Stephen King. If you like reading about psychics and how they maneuver life with their abilities, you will enjoy reading this book.

Well, you may wonder why this book only gets three stars. It's a middle of the road opinion. It's because I have some psychic ability but found that the suggestions here didn't do anything towards strengthening my "talent". Now to be fair, the title claims to be a SURVIVAL guide, not a HOW TO guide. I don't know that people with a little or a lot of psychic ability need to have special survival skills. but I know there are thousands who would like to hone it. So, I can say that the book is well written but it wasn't my cup of tea.

A Survival Guide For Those Who Have Psychic Abilities And Don't Know What To Do With Them is a book covering many facets of supernatural powers. The first part of the book covers mediums and spirits which was very interesting and well written. What to do it you see a spirit or if the spirit speaks to you. This book is a teaching aid and one I will keep close at hand. I am so excited to be able to read a book on the subject that is easy to understand. I will be checking out the other books that Lisa Anne Rooney writes. I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review, but I would have bought it.
