This book was quite something. It reminded me of Mean Girls/Gossip Girls/a bit like Pretty little liars. It kinda gave me odd feelings. It was a bit much as far as meanness/cattiness. It was a decent book. There definitely was a lot of weird drama. If you like young dramatic issues, this is definitely the book for you. It definitely kept me intrigued. These girls are too much!!! But overall, I was entertained.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

If you want a good revenge story, then this is the book. Get prepared for a lot of bullying and a lot of drama. ALOT!

Cherry is a woman scorned. With a plan to get even she finds help. Ashley answers a post -it to make extra money for the summer, not knowing what he was getting into. This story is reminds me of Mean Girls with a twist.
I loved this story. Cherry is a typical stereotype for “filthy rich”. Always getting her way. Everything changes when she meets Ashley and with help from Cherry’s siblings and Ashley they try to take down Fling Club. A club where girls are in charge and boys are arm candy. What could possibly go wrong?
Tara never lets me down and I always know I’m in for a ride when reading her books. The only thing I’m wondering is where can I find an Ashley for myself?

This was not for me. DNF at 58%. I just don’t want to continue reading it anymore. The characters were difficult to like, and there was too much hate, many kinds of shaming, and while I definitely did see chemistry between Ashley and Cherry, after that first sex scene I was basically done with this book. I don’t like how that scene started - it felt so weird to me. There was the potential for Ashley and Cherry to be more likeable, but Ashley’s attitude towards all rich people was annoying, and Cherry was frustrating. All the characters were so extra.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC!

Hmmmm these people were horrible. There was so much hate and bullying. The main characters didn't impress me either, there is so much negativity that I don't want to contribute too, so do I recommend? No..sorry folks but this is not for me..

I absolutely love this book. I hated to put it down to deal with real life. It sucked me in from the first page and kept me entertained throughout the whole book. It's got humor, heartbreak, love, unbreakable friendships and a young woman finding herself along the way. I can definitely that I recommend everyone should read this book!

If you like drama with and extra side of drama, then this one is for you. I like me some drama but this was getting a bit too ridiculous. I started skimming some parts because after awhile, I just didn’t care anymore. Which is too bad, I really liked Ashley. That poor guy had to put up with way too much crazy.

Cherry and Ashley was a good story. The way every chapter explained a different side. If your looking for something with emotions and fighting for love this is it.
They go in it for two different reasons and it changes their life.
This book teach you not to judge people from where they came from. Seeing Cherry go through heartbreak in the beginning was sad. Seeing Ashley dealing with His own personal stuff was devastating. Thank you for letting me be part of reading this book.

It was petty - you should know that going in. The whole plot is petty. But it's done oh-so well. I liked the main romance up until they had sex. Then they seemed to lose their chemistry and just only have sex when they were alone. If you're into that sort of thing, you'll enjoy the steamy sex scenes for sure. The characters, though probably shallow, were very well written. Equally likeable and dislikeable at the same time, much like many people I know.
It was definitely a quick read - I wanted to know how this turned on them, when, and what happened next. The writing style was great, brisk, easy, perfect. All-in-all a good read. I'd give it 3.5 stars, but it's definitely a round it up to 4 kind of 3.5. Probably won't buy it, or have an interest in reading it again, but it's worth the first read.

If you like a good revenge story then fling club is a great book for you. Even though I don’t normally read a lot of revenge story’s, Tara brown kept me wanting more. It’s cruel intentions meets mean girls. This book has steam, drama and even some action! I can’t wait to check out some other books by Tara

Oh wow, this is like a college sorority on crack! It takes mean girls to a whole new level! Cait is the queen bee, founder of Fling Club and the biggest witch of them all.
What is Fling Club you ask? Well, it’s an exclusive club that Cait runs and it’s THE club to be in if you want any social life while in the Hamptons.
The Rules? Well, that’s a secret. *wink*. But only those with personal invites can join and attend all the major parties all the socialites will be at. Sounds fun huh? That’s what Cherry thought, having been one of the founding members, been a member since Cait started the club six years ago. Now, Cherry is starting to see the club in a whole new light, and seeing Cait’s true colors as well.
Let’s not forget about the revenge part of this story. Oh yes, there is much revenge taking place. This is my favorite aspect of this story! Tara’s Brain is evil and wicked in the most delicious of ways. The way she executed the revenge had me rooting for Cherry and Ashley and all the others involved. It’s the perfect plot, the perfect way to bring Cait to her knees and destroy what she loves most.
Let’s not forget the romance! Things definitely heat up between Ashley and Cherry! Their chemistry is great and love the interaction with each other, even from the very beginning when he seems to hate her due to her “rich girl” status. But he quickly grew fond of Cherry and I grew fond of him!
***Who were these people? Maybe it was a good thing I was here. Cherry needed someone to care about her and get her through this. I couldn’t justify taking twenty thousand to teach some rich b**ch a lesson, but I could justify it to help another one learn to see herself the way I saw her. This girl—she was worth it.
So many great characters. Ella, Cherry's Sister, I love that evil, smart mouthed, little genius and she needs her own book! She rocked the plotting and all the things!
And no TB book would be complete without the little twist in it. Definitely a must read if you like revenge mixed with some romance!

When it comes to Fling Club think Mean Girls, Heathers, Cruel Intentions type revenge. I love how Cherry slowly gathers her Hampton ladies to take the Queen bee. Revenge was never sweeter then finding the perfect one to help bring the Fling Club down. You can tell how fed up the ladies all are being used and forced into everything by Queen bee Cait. Once Ashley enters the picture you can't help but to hope that after everything goes down that he will be the one for Cherry. I loved this book. I laughed and I wanted to strangle a few people in it to. But that's okay. Once everything goes down and the dust settles I love how the ladies of the Hamptons handle then final take down. I really can't wait to see where this series goes.

4.5 stars.
This is the first book I read by Tara Brown and it surely won't be the last. I was attracted to this story because I like plots where we see the fake lives of the élite, and this reminded me a bit of some TVshows I like such as Gossip Girl for example, and it isn't a bad thing for me. Moreover, I'm able to connect with the story more even if sometimes these types of novels offer weird plots (well, rich people can be super ridiculous sometimes).
The story of "Fling Club" wasn't too weird. It was the classic revenge plot against the bratty girl. You would imagine movies like Mean Girls and similar while reading this, so if you liked those, you'll find this story entertaining although the plot is nothing new.
It all starts when our main female character, Cherry, finds her boyfriend cheating on her. She is a high society girl with an image to maintain, and because of this she needs to attend Fling Club, a not so secret group where rich girls like her control the dating game and get rid of their flings when summer ends. This sounds ridiculous and it is, but we are talking about high society girls so it fits perfectly. We also have the Queen Bee, and it's her Cherry wants to destroy. Enter Ashley, a nerdy guy who studies Robotics. He can see through Cherry's real personality, and eventually he's what will make her go out of her shell and finally be indipendent.
I had some issues with Cherry. She is your typical socialite: she goes to University but she won't use that degree since she's going to marry and be a "wife" and that's it. This is so sad because she could be so much more; she even has money to make her dreams come true. We see her struggle at first because she isn't sure revenge is what she wants, because it's easy to live the life that her mother has planned for her. She was pitiful most of the times, but I understood where she came from, and in the end I'm glad she could make up her mind and try to live the way she wished to and not how the world where she came from ordered her to be.
Ashley, on the other side, was cute. He wasn't rich like Cherry and despised rich people, but he as she got over the prejudices when he saw that there was more behind the play that high society staged every day of their lives. He helped Cherry a lot because he tried to make her see there was more than what her silver platter had to offer, and she could still make it, just like him. He is passionate for what he does, which is Robotics. Unlike Cherry, Ashley was sure of himself and determined to go after he wanted. He was a nice book boyfriend, but I wished we had more chapters with his POV because I liked to read what he thought of some situations.
Ashley and Cherry came from different worlds but this didn't stop them from trying to be together despite each of their families may have had some prejudices themselves because of this. They have different strong and weak points but they can help each other overcome difficulties life may throw at them.
Overall, I liked all the characters. Since this will be a series, I wish the author will write books about Andy and Ella and maybe some of the girls from Cherry's inner circle too, like Rachel.
If you're looking for a light romantic story to read during your hot summer, this is perfect.

Mean Girls meets Cruel Intentions.
This is the first book that I've read from this Author.
The rich, beautiful young ladies of the Hamptons are part of an Elite Club called Fling Club. It's where the girls choose a wealthy guy to have fun with, socialize and go to event's with over the summer.
You abide by the rules of Fling Club.
Cherry surprises her boyfriend only to find him sleeping with her friend Cait. She also happens to be the founder of their society club.
So with help from her brother and sister they plot to get revenge on Cait, by making her break her own rules.
They need a guy to play the part of bringing the Society Queen Bee down.
So they pin a post-it note on the notice board at MIT.
Ashley's a Robotics engineer student. Seeing the post-it note on the notice board. He's intrigued in what the position entales, and obviously in need of the money. He applies.
And before he knows it, he's floored by Cherry. But he hates the rich and knowing that he's not her type: Not from money.
Cherry also knowing that Ashley wouldn't ever be interested in her, they're opposites. But interact really well together.
Secrets are uncovered.
Will Cherry, Ashley and the rest get revenge on Cait? And at what costs?
I received a copy from Skyscape via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book gave me mean girls meets gossip girls vibes. It was funny, suspenseful, romantic, and just the right amount of steamy. I can’t wait to see what book 2 will be about

I wasn't sure what to think at the beginning of the book. It seemed like a bunch of spoiled rich kids and I almost didn't continue. Although I'm glad I did. Ashley was the saving grace.
Cherry well at first was the walking dead, Did a complete turnaround for the better.
And hello did not see that coming with Andy!
Once the story picked up speed I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen!

Fling Club, by Tara Brown, is described in the summary as “sexy and wickedly funny,” but it wasn’t for me. In fact, as I type this, I’m having trouble remembering laughing at all. Sexy is in the eye of the beholder but it wasn’t that for me either.
Cherry walks in on her boyfriend and her ‘fling club’ arch nemesis Cait having sex. She decides to use the club to get revenge against her. After all, sleeping with a ‘sister’s old leftovers’ is breaking one of the rules of this very exclusive club. Enter Ashely, MIT nerd desperately in need of a job to relieve the burden his education has caused his parents. He’s willing to accept the role, and all the faking that comes along with it in exchange for the obscene amount of cash he’s offered. Of course, nothing every goes according to plan. He didn’t expect to be attracted to Cherry, or that she’d be attracted to him. He didn’t expect to be quite so sickened by the spoiled rich kids he has to hang out with, or the outrageous lengths Cait is willing to go to in order to control everything and everyone, especially Cherry.
This book was compared to Cruel Intentions and Mean Girls, and while it was a similar trope, it didn’t have the same feel, at least not of the latter. Simply put, this book was not for me. I found it impossible to relate to the level of money or high society. They all just seemed ridiculous. And while I could relate to the idea of wanting to be popular or belong, I found myself constantly asking why anyone wanted to around or involved with any of these people. Everyone was so incredibly judgmental, including Ashley, who’s attitude surprised me most of all. These people were just mean, mean without a single redeeming quality. I felt no chemistry between Ashley and Cherry, so what developed between them felt insta-lovey and forced. In fact, for Cherry it seemed very physical at first, not emotional at all, especially the first time they were together. Where Brown had the ability to show me things developing between them, she told me instead. It made their story seem a bit choppy.
The cast of characters were as weak as the plot. I especially disliked Cherry’s brother Andy. He treated Cherry like she was stupid and worthless. Her sister Ella was better but at times treated Cherry the same way. I liked Rachel and her brother Ryan, and Ashley’s parents were nice. Oh, and Cherry’s dad. But none of these characters had much bearing on the plot. I liked how the girls from the club pulled together to help one another at the end. There are a couple of twists in the book that added interest to the plot. I wish that we were given more understanding of the why after finding out what happened. It made one already unbalanced character seem certifiable and the other callous. Both became almost inhuman at that point, and the whole story sort of crumbled to pieces there for me.
This book is filled with hatred and judgment. It didn’t feel like a romance. There just wasn’t enough heart. I was 30% in and had yet to like or respect a character. I was indifferent by the time I finished, happy there was some resolution for everyone, but detached. This book just wasn’t for me.

Really love Tara Brown. Her books are normally pretty intense and this one was no exception.
