Aptly named a sanctuary of lies, due to the overwhelming deceit being perpetrated in this tale, with a lot of two-timing and downright greed, with others willing and able to go to any lengths in order to achieve their goals or should I say their pot of gold. It became a bit confusing in trying to identify the good guys, everyone seems to be in a jumble of confusion with each trying their best to capture the prize. Jake and Bella were easily understood, they wanted what was best for the kid, but the other characters were a conniving bunch, darn man, they put the twist in confusion in trying to deceive each other and create mayhem and fear. An interesting book, with an intriguing storyline and a barrage of sly and greasy characters, which catapulted this book into an intriguing and entertaining read.
