Okay, you need to clear your schedule for a few hours. Get yourself something to eat and drink, and get ready for one action packed adventure!

In No Good Deed, Gischler takes us on a thrill a minute adventure that you simply won't want to stop reading.

Francis, our earnest Good Samaritan is so much fun - though he perhaps wishes he weren't quite so good . He wouldn't be in so much trouble! And the other characters are just as much fun.

This is simply a blast of a read and I want more!

No Good Deed by Victor Gischler combines a mystery and a thriller. The characters are introduced and grow with each new twist and turn. Love the unique story, comedy and the unpredictable events. Great read!

Francis stumbles to work after his girlfriend leaves him and happens upon an open suitcase in the dumpster. He stashes the case and emails a card found within to let them know he's got it. When Emma comes to retrieve her case, she's all cloak and dagger and being chased by thugs. The suitcase houses a top secret, highly coveted algorithm her software guru husband created. He's killed to keep it secret and has thugs chasing Emma to retrieve it. The kicker? The US government also wants this information.
The two flee and end up on the run dealing with the thugs all the way to CA where Emma will confront her husband and exchange the algorithm something she refuses to let go.

Will they be able to escape the constant abduction attempts? Will the information fall into the wrong hands?

After getting detained by NSA, Francis and Emma make it to the secretive highly guarded house, but will they be able to make the exchange? Will there be a HEA for Francis (who got stuck in this mess by trying to do a good deed) and Emma (who just wants to be rid of her husband, get what she values most and move on)?

Lots of action. There's some back story, but some gaps in character development, a bit rushed in the plot at times. Overall, not a bad read.

Disclaimer: I received a galley of this book from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Poor Francis wakes up to the start of a very long, bizarre, chasing-after one girl, then being chased by another, along with a whole lot of goons, kind of day. How does stuff like this happen to such a nice guy? Try to keep up with Francis and Emma and dont forget the megalomaniac tech-wizard who seems to be behind everything. I read the book in one day. Writing was fast-paced and and characters were on target - I found myself cheering for and booing against different characters. I rate it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.
