Wow! I’m still reeling from the twists of this storyline! Well written, and spellbinding from the first page. This story moved fast and did not disappoint. The characters were well developed and believable. It was all around a very good thriller!
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I can’t believe It took me this long! Fantastic read.

Thank you Net-Galley, ST. Martin's Press and author for the opportunity to read this story.
This book will hold your attention and leaving you wanting to know what is going to happen next. There was a twist that I saw coming and thought I it figured out and I partially did but not 100 percent
I felt sorry for a few of the characters then I was like oh no she had me fooled. Great story I found another author to read!

Joe Lynch impulsively follows his wife's car one day and stumbles upon what he suspects is evidence that she is having an affair. Joe becomes a beleaguered man entangled in lies and a murder investigation while his life implodes. Once you know that the title of this book is "Lies" you pretty much know not to trust anyone. Nevertheless, I found it entertaining to try to figure out who was lying and why. While not entirely believable, this book did hold my interest especially in the beginning. Later on, all of the talk about phones, computers and apps made my eyes glaze over and my fingers begin to skim, but I wanted to see how things turned out. I would be willing to read this author again. I've rounded my 3.5 star rating up to 4.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.

This is a dark and twisty thriller filled with lies that keep the reader as confused and guessing at what’s happening as the victim, Joe. The author does a good job of creating suspense and tension to propel the reader to the final conclusion. I like a book that I can’t guess and figure it all out. This was one of those thrillers. Well done~

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an eARC of this book.
I kept trying to like this book but I couldn't. Lots of people gave it 4 and 5 star reviews and I guess this is what kept me reading to the end. I kept waiting for it to become interesting. I found all of the characters not likable and the plot was pedestrian. As for the twist at the end, give me a break.
Sorry, I tried. Would have been 3 stars but I found the ending offensive.

Wow this is a exciting thriller that is non stop action !
I highly recommend this book to all who enjoy fast action thriller.s and psychological suspense.
Poor Joe Lynch is just a ordinary husband and father with a career he loves. His life is routine and he likes his normal life One day he makes a decision to follow his wife’s car. That proves to be the decision that changes his life forever.
When he follows her to a parking garage, she’s arguing with Ben, the husband of one of her friends. Joe gets out and the fight soon escalates, Ben is knocked unconscious. Joe has to leave quickly as he has his young son with him and he needs medical attention. When Joe comes back both Ben and his car are gone.
Now Joe is the object of threats and stalking by text from Ben. Then the situation gets worse when Ben’s wife reports him missing. This is a dynamite action thriller. You will feel for the charcters of Joe and wonder throughout what really happened to Ben and is he torturing Joe for a specific reason? Is he still involved with Joe's wife and is she in on it? Wow I was blown away by this book. A great read.
Thank you for the ARC which does not influence my review. I look forward to further work by this author.

I was so excited to get the privilege of reading this book and all I can say is Wow! It did not disappoint. I started early one morning and could not put it down. A thrilling story that really kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. I will definitely be gifting this one for holidays this year !

Just one word..... WOW!!! Couldn't put this down because I needed to know what happened-- thought I had it figured out, but I did not. Have already recommended to a few of my regular customers, as well as coworkers

To be honest, I was pretty bored by this book. It kept me just interested enough not to put it down, but I was definitely not invested in the characters. I just kept wondering how a mother could behave that way to her son and the father of her child.

Lies by TM Logan is a fast paced, psychological thriller that follows Joe Lynch, a common school teacher with an ordinary life. Joe Lynch is married to his beloved wife Melissa Lynch, and together they have a 4 year old son named William. Joe lives a simple, but fulfilled life in London. Joe’s quaint life is given a firm jolt into the chaotic when his son spots his wife’s car in traffic one day as they are headed home. William wants to visit with his mother and Joe not wanting to disappoint him follows the car. He finds her at a hotel in a part of town that makes no sense. Unsuspecting Joe tracks through the hotel and finds his wife in a heated argument with Ben Delaney. Ben and Beth Delaney have been married for many years and are both good friends with Joe and his wife.
Caught off guard by the hostility expressed by Ben Delaney, Joe recedes to his car and vows to ask his wife if everything is ok when she comes out to the parking garage. Unaware that Joe is there, his wife speeds out of the garage before he can stop her. Joe sees Ben start to leave to his car and he approaches him in an effort to ask him if everything was ok. Joe does not get much of a chance to reconcile information with Ben, because Ben attacks Joe in an uncharacteristic move into physical aggression. Joe pushes Ben away and Ben loses his footing and falls heavily to the ground. After Ben does not get up again, Joe can only assume Ben May be seriously injured. Just as Joe is getting ready to call the ambulance, his son shows up behind him suffering from an asthmatic attack. With no other options Joe makes the decision to drive home to get his son’s inhaler. He vows to follow up as soon as he can with his friend Ben to make sure he is ok.
About an hour later, Joe returns to the parking garage only to find that Ben and his vehicle are no longer there. Figuring that Ben has gone home, Joe writes off the strange encounter as an odd anomaly, and he returns to his life. It is at this point that Joe’s life takes a turn for the worst. It starts with some cryptic Facebook messages coming from Ben Delaney’s Facebook account. Things escalate quickly when Beth Delaney reports her husband missing. As Ben’s missing person’s investigation unfolds, Joe comes into focus as a viable suspect in his disappearance. The harder Joe tries to clear his name, the faster his perfect life deteriorates.
Lies is well written with clear, vivid prose. Joe Lynch is a sympathetic protagonist, who’s most like able aspect is that he is just like any one of us. It is easy to see our routine lives in Joe’s life. His nightmare could happen to any of us in the right circumstances. Lies kept me engaged to the end, and capped off with a head spinning twist that I didn’t see coming.

Lies gripped me from the start, it was super fast-paced and had me wondering what was going on. I stayed really interested throughout the novel, and pleasantly, I didn't figure things out until just before the reveal. In a time where thrillers are incredibly commonplace, I think Lies made a great impact. 3.5 stars. This book to me 4.5 hours to read.

Thank you to St Martin's Press for an e-copy of Lies for review. Lies is currently available for purchase.
Lies is a twisty, quick paced thriller. Joe Lynch was driving his son home when his son spots his mom's car heading into a hotel parking lot. They end up walking in on a fight between his wife and her best friend's husband, Ben. When Joe confronts him in the parking lot and then leaves him unconscious on the ground, things start unraveling. Ben is declared missing and Joe is the prime suspect. Uncovering lies that his wife has been telling, trying to clear his name, and figure out where Ben could be and why this is all happening to him all over the next week.
A quick paced and captive thriller, I found Lies to be good, but not great. I have never been in this kind of situation but there would definitely have been less trust in certain people after a while if I was him. Some of the twists for me started to feel like a twist for shock value only, not leading the story anywhere but down the wrong path just so it could change direction again. But that said, if you want something to keep you guessing and keep you interested, this one will do the trick. I did not see where this one was going!

The story was very well written, and it definitely kept my attention as the hits kept coming. However, I found the events increasingly over-the-top for me. I'm the kind of person that argues with movies, stories and commercials - I found myself arguing with the book as the story developed. After it all, though, I would still recommend the book.

If you like edge of your seat suspense, I highly recommend this book. It kept me guessing til the very end! What an ending! Loved it!

I loved Lies. There were so many twists and turns. I did not see the ending to this story. I love a book that keeps me guessing until the very end. The storyline is very modern and realistic to the point of making me nervous to get on my computer. I look forward to reading more books by T.M. Logan. I am definitely a fan.

Little white lies can't hurt you -or- can they? Melissa, Joe and their young son appeared to be a happy little family. At least that's what Joe thought! Even after Mel's best friend from college moved near by with her "perfect" family; Beth, the perfect wife, Ben, the rich husband, and teenage daughter, Alice.
But oh those lies! When you love and trust your spouse, you can't image they would be lying to you. Maybe once or twice, but was everything a lie? I can't say anymore about this book without spoiling a "wonderful read". the characters were so well written and if I had just noticed a few "hints" as I read along maybe I wouldn't have been so surprised at the end. But it was worth it - I completely enjoyed this book.

This is a big thank you to Net Gallery for the chance to read this book. While I found the plot well choreographed and interesting, the characters were not so good. Joe, the protagonist, did not pick my heartstrings. He felt less than grown up and way too naive for his years and experience. The subplot of not measuring up, or just "teaching" while his wife brought in the salary that sustained the family got old real fast. It was there and there and there. His take on the wife was much better drawn keeping me guessing with an ending that was somewhat of a surprise, which in suspense and mystery novels is a real feat. At my age, I'm pretty sure I've come across every plot twist, red herring and fall from the sky ending. I'll bet, though, that his next book will be much better. The potential is there.

I've read a lot of domestic thrillers in the past few years, and have tired of how they tend to follow predictable patterns. This is in that category of stories, as we follow this family and what happens to them, but it has some unique twists to it. It was a quick read, and I had some ideas of what was happening as I went along, but the overall resolution was not what I'd expected. I liked some aspects to the ending, and there were some things that I wasn't thrilled about, but overall I enjoyed the story. It definitely keeps you guessing and interested until the last page.

Grab a coffee. Delay dinner. Shut the TV off, kick your feet up and settle in for a nonstop read. Here is a story filled with contempt, jealousy and hate. One afternoon while driving four-year-old William home from school, Joe Lynch spots his wife's car at a parking garage. He is thoroughly confused, because she was supposed to be at tennis. He hurries over, and sees her having an argument with a man, Ben Delaney. He is unable to grab her attention, but does approach Ben afterwards. Joe and Ben get into an altercation and Ben gets hurt. However, William suddenly has an asthma attack, so Joe rushes off to attend to him.
Concerned for the hurt Ben, Joe does go back to the hotel. However, not only does he not find Ben, but he cannot find his cell phone. Almost immediately he begins to discover messages via his Facebook account where someone is apparently posting as him. This is no doubt in preparation to implicate him in something nefarious. That is evident from the very start. From this moment on in the story, we are hit with chapter endings that are intended to grab the reader from the throat. The very end of chapter one states that Joe made a spur-of-the-moment decision that would change his life. Read: “The hijacking of my life on social media.” “Everything you know is a lie.”
Social media key in this story, which is entirely told from Joe's first person point of view. Not only has Ben disappeared from the hotel, he has disappeared altogether. Where is he? What does he really want from Joe? Meanwhile, things begin looking very bad for Joe. He is forced to take matters into his own hands and is forced to act quickly, because his life is turned upside down.
I could not put Lies down! I devoured this book from cover to cover in just a couple of hours! While speeding through the pages, I was hit with so many twists and turns and incredible red herrings, well, simply put, that I did not see coming! The suspense is absolutely thrilling. The conclusion of this book is one that will remain with me for a very long time. It was done with excellent precision. Another great facet in this novel is the heavy use of social media and cell phones. So apropos to the times that we are living in. Lies is T.M. Logan's stunning first novel, which was followed by 29 Seconds. I most certainly will be reading this fantastic debut author again.
Many thanks to St. Martins Press and to NetGalley for this ARC to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

I received a free copy of this book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This book is like playing the Twist game. It has at least as many twists as that colorful mat you try to get your body around. The book had as many twists, but I was trying to get my head around them. Only to find out I was on the wrong dot.
I love books that make me think and this one certainly did – again and again, each time trying to find the correct dot. This psychological drama pits a rather naïve man against a skilled adversary. Or did it? Joe learns that his wife has been having an affair with Ben, a wealthy, overbearing man. She admits it to her husband and then the fun begins. Joe chases clue after clue in search of Ben who is playing some sort of payback game. Running him in circles while Joe tries to figure out why.
When Joe finally learns the truth, it is almost too late. But once more the author takes you by surprise. Logan has found a new reader.
