This was such a fun romp to read. Amy Holt got fired from her regular radio host job for swearing on air. She is ready to go back to Australia when her sister's ex gets her a job at his radio station Realm FM. Only it's not like any radio station she has ever worked at. There are different dimensions or realms where people come to the radio show to interview or promote themselves. On Amy's first day she insults the whole race of Sasquatches' by calling them Bigfoot. That's only the first problem. She finds herself more and more into Ryan (her sister's ex) as time goes by.

I loved Tyrolin Puxty's Broken Doll series and this one does not disappoint. The world building is great and full.

I was provided with an eARC of this book in exchange for a fair review.
This book has such a fun storyline; interdimensional radio station, hot radio host, sassy main character. However, the execution was not the best. While I appreciate a story that can make fun of itself, this went a bit to far and dipped into the ridiculous category. Amy is a just a little too neurotic for me, and her personality a little too brash. I don’t see what Ryan sees in her, and I don’t understand their whole dynamic. Plus the side characters were weak and not likeable. I did get a few chuckles out of it, which keeps it from being rated lower, and it wasn’t a long read so it didn’t take much of my time.

“Are you telling me she’s like Dr. Frank-N-Furter”

Ahaha! This book is delightful! The humor was spot on and had me laughing. I fell in love with Amy, the brand new radio DJ at Realm FM.

This is a book that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is what made the jokes roll so brilliant. There was a constant acknowledgement of the absurdity, which helped pull me into the meta humor.

I hope this becomes a series. My biggest problem is that it was too short and I want more Realm FM adventures. I want more Amy and Ryan.

A little Welcome to Night Vale mixed with Sarah Silverman, Realm FM is a fast, fun, breezy read. The perfect vacation read.
