I want to begin this posting with how much I love, love, love this author! I have read and own all of the Montgomery Brothers Series and almost all of the Shaughnessy Brothers Series. I have the rest of the Band on the Run series in my Amazon wish list including this book. I couldn't pass it up when this novel came across my email as an ARC. Of course, Chase does not disappoint! Even though, I have not read the first two books in Band on the Run series, I was still able to follow and relish this book. If you haven't read Riley's story --Book 4 of Shaughnessy Brothers, then you may struggle a bit not too much. Chase does build up each novel from the previous. Although, not too much that if you miss a novel or beginning to read in the middle of the series, you as a reader are not lost. Chase does give a brief recap of what's been happening to each of the characters from both series. If you are just starting on either series, you will be able to completely follow the characters and storyline.

I believe this is the last novel in both series--unless Mick gets his own novel. That might be interesting!

Julian Grayson is the drummer of Shaughnessy--a premier rock band that was named after their lead singer, Riley Shaughnessy. The band has taken a five year hiatus and now all the member but one is ready to get back into the studio. Julian is scared and feels like a fool. He has spent the last five years with a woman who has constantly lied and cheated on him. He feels ashamed to show his face. He wants to hide from the media, studio, and everything associated with music. After leaving his toxic bride-to-be at the alter after showing a video of her cheating on him at his wedding, Julian takes a three month road trip on his motorcycle to clear his head. He thinks it helped--but did it? He is still angry and miserable. He moves out of the house he bought for Dena and into his manager's rental on the beach.

Charlotte Clarke is a vocational rehabilitation social worker who also volunteers at a local homeless shelter. Her passion is helping people find work and get back on their feet. She is surrounded by poverty everyday, but she still travels to Malibu every morning for her beach fix and coffee. It centers her. She always puts her heart and soul into helping as many people as possible. Even when enjoying her morning ritual.

Charlotte helps the man in front her get his morning coffee and breakfast. He looks homeless and down on his luck. But what she doesn't realize is that Julian doesn't need help with finding a job. He needs help finding himself. She invites him to the shelter for the job hunting session. Julian feels like he accomplished something that day, helping unload the truck and clean the building. He returns everyday for a week before Hank, the shelter director realizes who he is. Julian is forced to reveal his true identity to Charlotte. He wants to spend more time with her but he isn't sure she will accept him due to his celebrity status or the size of his bank account. But there are other issues in their way as well--namely Julian himself. Julian doesn't talk about his feelings nor does he communicate. Instead, he buys Charlotte gifts--gifts she neither wants nor needs. She feels insulted every time he does it.

Another issues for Julian--is he going to retire from the band when he has spent his entire life with music? Will he let his lifelong friends down? How can he face the music industry after what Dena did to him? Can he get over it enough to build a relationship with Charlotte?

Everyone tried to tell him about his girlfriend but Julian refused to listen. When she finally went too far for him he shows a video of her with another man at their wedding after she gets to the alter. Julian then takes off for months. He finally returns but he hasn’t dealt with the emotions and humiliation he feels about the relationship. He is in a bad place but won’t admit it to himself. Julian meets Charlotte, who he is very suspicious of at first. He figures she is just like everyone else, they want something from him. He soon realizes she has no idea who he is.

Julian and Charlotte are falling in love but Julian needs to face his past or they can never move forward. I have thoroughly enjoyed read this series. Even tho it is part of a series, I think this book could be read as a stand alone. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Charlotte Clark is a social worker at a homeless shelter. Julian is the drummer of a rock band. Classic story but while I enjoyed parts of it other parts were really slow going for me. I’ve read other books by this author and didn’t feel it was her best. That being said it was a sweet book.

One More Moment by Samantha ChaseFor the last member of the Band on the Run series, Julian Gray, love has been a slog. The book opens when he dumps his fiancée at the altar, playing the video that shows that she has never really been in the relationship for him or their love.

Dedicated social worker, Charlotte Clark doesn't recognize Julian Gray when he can't pay for his coffee one day at her favorite coffee shop. She just recognizes the symptoms of someone who is in a liminal space and does not want to be there. She strikes up a conversation and helps to start pull him out of the dark space he's been in.

The two will have to figure out how to work around each other. I like that Charlotte sticks to her guns and makes Julian put forth actual emotional effort rather than letting him get away with just buying her forgiveness.

The final band members story, Julian has issues, relationship issues, trust issues and a level of shame topped off by embarrassment all courtesy of a cheating fiancee and a wedding that wasn't. Taking time off for himself, Julian takes off, returns to a beach property to drool over, and a chance encounter in a local coffee shop, with a girl who doesn't recognise him, starts to turn things around for Julian. Charlotte has a big heart, a sunny nature, she's a fixer in a good way, and see a guy down, jumps to conclusions, finds him really sexy, and they're drawn to each other. This is the story of how that all goes, the fun, laughter, tears, joy, fear, Samantha Chase packs every emotion in, a fab rollercoaster ride. Great characters, great story, peep back to previous bandmates, thoroughly enjoyed this book. Highly recommended

I recieved a free ARC of this book from Netgalley and here is my reveiw. I love Samantha Chase and have been so excited for this book to come out. Once I started it I couldn't put it down

I didn't know a lot about Julian before this book . I couldn't wait to find out more about him. Julian Grayson was mistaken for a unemployed drifter. He was taking a break from the band , his life, and cheating fiance. Charlotte Clark wants to help the homeless, save the world and help Julian get back on his feet.

She offers to pay for Julian's coffee. Julian being famous and used to be in the spotlight figures she did it to get something from him. He was wrong she has no idea who he is and only wants to help him.

Julian is enjoying being out of the spotlight and someone seeing him for who as a person. He will have to tell her the truth eventually but until then she gives him hope to change his life.

I love the characters all feel so real too me. They have real emotions and feelings and a real believable story. I recommend you check out this series and definitely this book a great fast read.

I maybe should have read the other books in this series first to get a better understanding as to what was going on. I felt a little lost about the band and happenings. Julian Grayson seemed a little sad and lost after calling off his wedding. Charlotte Clark is trying to save the world, one person at a time. The fact that she thought Julian was a homeless person who needed her help was a little cringe worthy.

I thought this book was just ok.....

What a beautiful love story...loved reading how Charlotte navigated the landmines that were Julian's life and found a way to fall in love with the real man. Took Julian a while to navigate his way thru his own landmines but once he did....wooooo hoooo for Charlotte. Thanks for the awesome read Ms Chase!!

This is part of a series and I honestly think that you should catch up with the others to get a better feel for this. We have known Julian from the past books and honestly don't get why he keeps letting himself get heartbroken over this woman he has been with, he constantly gets cheated on and he keeps taking her back, but finally finally they break up and he has decided he will not give his heart to someone again. While starting over he three months down the road he meets Charlotte who is a sweet heart and we want to smack Julian upside the head many times because when he finally meets someone worth it he acts idiotic, not all the time mind you but enough times. We have tears and yes happiness and my favorite getting to catch up with the rest of the fam. I don't want to give many info because you wont enjoy it too much is given away, so grab a copy and sit back..

Samantha Chases “One More Moment is a beautiful love story. I loved that Charlotte was not a gold digger like Julian’s previous fiance was. A beautiful quote in the book that Julian says to Charlotte is “I would give you the sun, the moon and the stars if I could. She says to him I only want you. When she tells Julian to Pay it forward at the beginning of the story Julian does it in a beautiful way and you will have to read the story to find out.

The continuing saga of Shaugnessy is as captivating as it is sexy. Getting a glimpse in to another side of the rock star life that doesn't involve drugs,or alcohol was refreshing.

Julian Grayson has possibly been the most misunderstood member of Shaughnessy in the Band on the Run series. His difficulties could be considered his own making by some, but he truly tried to be faithful and true to the relationship with his fiance Dena. She was not faithful or true to their relationship at all. His way of letting Dena and everyone in their lives know they were not going to marry after all was pretty epic. He chose the most embarrassing way of ending their time together. Then, Julian takes off to run from his problems.

Three months later when he returns, Charlotte mistakenly takes him for a man in need. With her job in service to those down on their luck, she is just doing what she does naturally when she offers him help. It takes a bit of time before he decides to let her know she was mistaken in his need for help. He does need help, just not financially.

Their relationship is difficult, while still being quite romantic. Charlotte realizes quickly Julian solves problems with money and gifts. Charlotte is having none of that. She is strong in her belief that people talk out their problems, not run from them. Julian takes a bit of time to figure out his life and his mess. Julian and Charlotte have a sweet HEA once he gets his act together. Her character is written as the perfect person to challenge Julian.

You will enjoy this last book in the series as you get to see Julian grow with help from his friends and Charlotte. Yet, they still let him come to the realization on his own with a little help.

Might I suggest a final book with Mick and his future sweetheart?

I felt he behaved like a child at times.
Both the Hero and the heroine spoke to themselves, muttered to themselves, I absolutely hate that.
No cheating.
Small ex-drama but no intimacy.
HEA.

I wouldn't reread.

A quick, sweet read that was very easily enjoyed!

The characters and setting compliment each other, and the story-line was well written. I'm new to the series, but the author has made it interesting, regardless. The internal struggle, sexual tension, and angst were all perfectly placed and it didn't drag out. Everything wrapped up rather nicely, and I look forward to her next installments!

We finally got Julian's story. This is the classic story of a dysfunctional relationship and trying to come back from it. Right from the start Samantha drew us in with some major drama and the interest stuck. I loved the little epilogue of the Shaughnessy family when the band met Charlotte for the first time. This was a great conclusion to both series.

One More Moment
Band On The Run
Samantha Chase
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the perfect ending to the Band On The Run series, meeting and living the lives of Shaughnessy, a huge rock bad sweeping the world. Each member carries his own issues but as crazy strong women bring them back from the brink… I’ve loved each man and their wives but something about Julian’s story really touched my heart.

Shaughnessy’s drummer, Julian Grayson has walked away from everything after dumping his cheating fiancé literally at the altar. He’s taken a break from everything, life, music women. After a 3 month leave he finds himself in Malibu in a beachfront mansion hating pretty m ch everybody. He has a huge chip in his shoulder and everyone is at his mercy. Meeting Charlotte at a local coffee shop has him assuming the worst, another woman who wants a part of superstar. Imagine his surprise when she has no clue who he is. This woman will push his limits while breaking him down.

Charlotte Clark is a social worker, working with the people who are at their lowest point. Homeless, jobless, no money, she loves her job but it is mentally draining. A chance meeting wth a disheveled man while buying coffee will change her life forever. Offering to pay for a man’s coffee after he forgot his wallet, while thinking he was homeless leaves Charlotte overwhelmed. She thought he’d be thankful but with an earbashing, she walks away just to have him follow her. She cannot understand the Ange behind their mystery man, he’s arrogant, rude but so very sexy.

Spending time with Julian makes Charlotte happy, he’s sweet when he’s not angry, helpful to her at the drop in centre and he harbours something he’s kept wrapped tight in his heart.Discovering his secret, Charlotte is no more impressed other than fan girling over the other members of Shaughnessy. Julian is at a painful point in his life, one that he must address before losing everything, including the one thing that has played a huge part of his life Charlotte. His past will always be there, but his future with Charlotte is on tender hooks.

With music such a huge part of his life will Julian walk away from everything, including Charlotte over something that wasn’t his fault. In an emotional roller coaster, Julian will see a whole new world through the eyes of Charlotte. She’s a beautiful soul, pit in this earth to brighten lives, but she’ll have her work cut out for her with Julian. One More Moment will have you wanting more right to that very last page.

One More Moment (Book #3) is the final novel in the Band on the Run series by Samantha Chase. Unfortunately since I didn't read #1 or #2 in the series I can't compare them. In this story bad boy rocker Julian Grayson is mistaken for a down and out unemployed drifter by social worker Charlotte Clark. This is a fun, easy read that follows the development of the couple relationship and eventual happily ever after.
