One More Moment by Samantha Chase in the third book in her Band on the Run series, but the first I read and loved it! I am definitely going back and reading the previous books! This story was unexpectedly sweet and charming.
Julian Grayson is tired and needs a break. He loves his band, but with a cheating fiancé and always being in the spotlight, he needed to get away. And when a friendly woman offers to pay for his coffee when he forgot his wallet, he thinks she has ulterior motives. All Charlotte wants to do is help a man she thinks may be in need. So begins a journey that will change both of their lives!
Charlotte is friendly, sweet and loves to help others when she can. She is all heart. Julian, being disillusioned right now, does not react the way she expected. But what she does not know is who this man truly is, and he is taken off guard by that. People always want something from him and she is so refreshing!
I really enjoyed reading One More Moment by Samantha Chase. For a story about a musician, it was truly sweet and adorable read. I loved the characters so much and their story. I am excited to read the previous books!
Happy reading!

Rockstar Julian Grayson is taking time out from his normal life, Jaded and heartbroken, by a gold digging cheating Fiance, he really just wants to be left alone and re evaluate his life. This is a man who has learned to trust no one, after all people just want to know or be with him because of his Fame, right? Jaded and sceptical of everyone, when he forgets his wallet at a coffee shop and a beautiful young woman pays for his coffee, he can't be blamed for thinking she has ulterior motives, and thinking she's recognised him and is "after Something".
Social Worker Charlotte Clark is everything Julian hasn't experienced. She's natural, kind, heart of gold, genuine, infact i loved this character. She doesn't recognise him, she's just a girl that will help anyone if she feels she can. Julian is captivated by her, and wants to get to know her so he lets her keep her first impressions of him, and doesn't make her aware that he isn't a homeless person down on his luck.
This is such a sweet heartwarming love story, with characters you can't fail to love. Julian has many issues to deal with, and i loved the journey he took and how each step of their relationship just felt so natural, growing into a love story that will melt your heart. It's not always easy let go of the past and what i loved most was this book, was that it all felt so real, nothing over dramatic yet it was full of emotion, and just two people who really were soul mates. From Strangers, to Friends to Lovers, and captivating the whole way. Loved it, this is the kind of Romance that restores your faith !!!!!

5 STARS FOR JULIAN AND CHARLOTTE!! Here we go again....I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I always feel my reviews don't do this phenomenal authors books any justice. Julian and Charlotte's story is beautiful, sweet, sexy and full of feels. This series just keeps getting better, I think this is my favorite so far. Do yourself a favor and 1-Click this book.

Julian was the last of the band members to tell his story in One More Moment, and Wow what a story it was. He finally realized what a toxic relationship he was in and was able to get out of it but it had really messed with him. During that time he happened to meet Charlotte who is he most kind and caring women. Something Julian is definitely not used to. I absolutely LOVE Julian’s journey, I could not put this book down. It was one of those books that it is so good you want to keep reading, but also you don’t really want to finish it because than it will be over. This book had so many emotions throughout. It had my heart pounding, heart melting, had me smiling and laughing, getting a bit anger in parts and even tearing up a bit. The epilogue in the this book is also one of the best, especially if you have read the whole series, it’s the perfect way to end it. One More Moment was a wonderful read I highly recommend!!

This story was one that I truly enjoyed. I have read them from the beginning of the series and this is my favorite so far. It just seems like the characters come across as real, with real problems. Great story.

Take a wounded rock star and a social worker who tries to see the best in everyone… mix them together and you have “One More Moment.”
Julian is lost. His “on-again off-again” dysfunctional relationship has ended in a very dramatic way and he has gone off the grid. He left behind his music and gone into hiding while trying to make sense of the disaster he sees that his life has become.
Charlotte helps lost souls find their way again and when she encounters Julian, her nurturing instincts kick into high gear. She has no idea who he is, but Julian cannot believe her efforts to help him do not come with some kind of catch. He is skeptical of her motives but slowly begins to understand that her desire to help him comes from a good heart.
There is obvious chemistry between them but letting his guard down and accepting what Charlotte wants to give him is a struggle for Julian. He feels the need to show his love through gifts and lavish gestures but all she wants is his heart and to see him healed emotionally… not his money.
This is the final installment in the Shaughnessy series and it was fun to catch up on what has happened with the other band members. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it and the rest of the series without hesitation.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
Since this is the first book that I have read in this series, I was pleased to find it didn't make a difference and this book can be read as a stand alone. There are lots of appearances from the previous books so you can keep up with what is happening in their lives.
The book starts with Julian's wedding but instead of the wedding being a happy event, it was Julian making a big gesture to his fiance, Dena, that he had enough and they were over.
Fast forward three months, and after a time spent riding around the country, you would expect that Julian has had time to get over his previous relationship, but that is not the case. He is still filled with anger and rage, and isn't willing to go back to being the drummer of the band.
When Charlotte meets Julian, she offers to buy him coffee because he looks like a down and out jobless man. Not nice of Julian to keep up the charade but for a time, he feels happiness.
Too bad that Julian didn't learn from the mistakes of his first failed relationship! Charlotte can see the pattern and tries to encourage Julian to face those issues but he is not ready to give up his anger. When Charlotte walks away from their relationship, it is so sad and painful to read.
Glad that Julian finally "saw the light" and finally made some important decisions for his life. And, worked to get Charlotte back! Great HEA, and the ending seemed to wrap up the series since they all found love and got their lives in order.

Samantha Chase has another winner on her hands with Julian's story. The Band Shaughnessy is taking a break after Julian's humiliating public display at his wedding that didn't happen. But will they get back together, and will Julian ever be ready to perform again? A man that has so much, but can't seem to find his way back until he meets Charlotte, a counselor in a vocational rehabilitation center. Here he sees people that live in a world that he doesn't really understand, that are less fortunate, but will throwing money at the problem help to win Charlotte's heart? Julian's path is a difficult one, but takes a humbling direction as he is brought back to life while helping out Charlotte at the center, and begins to see what is important. As Julian and Charlotte's story unfolds, it is clear Julian has a lot to learn, while Charlotte is not swayed by money being tossed around. She is a woman that gives and keeps on giving, but can she mend Julian's heart? 'Band on the Run' is now wrapped up with a HEA for all of Shaughnessy, and wow what a ride! I would like to thank NetGalley and Sourcebooks for gifting me "One More Moment". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 5 Easy Stars!

Charlotte and Julian are the perfect couple.
Social worker Charlotte Clark decided to pay the order at the coffee shop for a stranger that didn’t have his wallet and tries to help him get his life in order, all she asked him to do was pay it forward. Charlotte didn’t know that he was drummer Julian Grayson of Shaughnessy that had just gotten back to Los Angeles after the disaster of his engagement and failed wedding ceremony.
Charlotte just wants to help people and Julian was still dealing with trying to figure out whether he wanted to retire from the band even though he loved music and playing with the band. Both had issues that needed to be worked through before really getting together.
I enjoyed reading One More Moment that I went and bought the rest of the books about the other members of the band before rereading One More Moment again.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

First, let me say this. This is NOT a series about “Rockstars”. It is a phenomenal series about four gentlemen who happen to be musicians as their profession.
I FREAKING LOVE this series, and Ms. Samantha Chase saved the best for last (in my humble opinion)!!! Charlotte and Julian, OMFG!!! Their story….sigh!! Don’t get me wrong, each and every book in this series has been phenomenal, but One More Moment….. It just struck a cord, or rather a drum beat, for me… Sigh
Ms. Chase has captured moments of Julian’s story in the previous books from this series. NO, you do not HAVE to read the others (but you should) before you read this one, if you do, you will have a better understanding of just what Julian went through before the start of his story.
What a b… er witch!! WHY, HOW could you have done this? You had a man who loved you, would do anything for you!!! And, let me just say this….. I LOVED what Julian did at the wedding! One word: comeuppance!!! Sorry ladies, you need to read the book to find out what and who I am talking about. No Spoilers from me.
Now, Julian has left EVERYTHING behind for a while. She made him a laughing stock, in his mind anyway…
Charlotte, I LOVE THIS LADY!!! She would do pretty much any thing for someone in need. She fights for the families she encounters in her job. The day when she goes for coffee and the man ahead of her can’t pay for his coffee and muffin, she buys his breakfast with her own. He argues with her and she tells him to pay it forward next time. Julian, yep, Julian figures Charlotte just wants something from him. Surprise, Charlotte does not know who he is, or rather does not recognize him. When Julian realizes this, he really wants to get to know her. The more he is with her, the harder he/she falls.
One of my favorite lines in the book….. “The book was better.”. Sorry ladies, again, read the book, you will laugh about this too.
Now, I am sad. Why you ask? I am going to miss these people. Hopefully, maybe, Ms. Chase will write a follow-up novella and let us know how these guys are doing… I know, wishful thinking.
Thank you for reading my review

This is Julian's story. He has a terrible relationship with a demanding woman, and he continues to give her everything she demands. Julian has tons of pent up anger and he does not deal with any of it in a healthy way. He is at a cross road when he meets the sassy Charlotte. Charlotte is wonderful and will not take Julian's crap. A great read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Charlotte and Julian was well written and a must read book. I whole heartedly recommend this book. They meet when he forgot his wallet and was in line ahead of her. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Finally Julian’s story!!! Julian has been the band member that’s intrigued me the most all series long and finally it’s his turn! I love the mistaken identity trope but so often it just doesn’t really work or it becomes page after page of “come on already!” But Samantha Chase weaves not only the perfect story for Julian but for Charlotte too in One More Moment. Just as every other book I’ve read from Chase, One More Moment was the perfect blend of humor, emotion, honesty, intimacy, and, of course, happily ever after!

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! I was totally blown away while riding a roller coaster of emotions while reading One More Moment by Samantha Chase. Ms. Chase really knows how to create a loving story between a tortured soul and a do-gooder. Julian was a broken man in need of a change in his life after escaping and ending his toxic relationship with Dena. Meeting social worker Charlotte who wanted nothing from him was a breath of fresh air. The major problem was Julian was still angry, unsettled, and could not find his happy place without Charlotte being with him. Charlotte knew she could not be the therapist Julia needed, but she could enjoy being his girlfriend and getting him to open up. I loved how volunteering at the homeless shelter affected Julian, giving him an inner peace he needed. Getting additional musicians volunteering there was quite rewarding to those volunteering as well as the staff there. I really loved how Charlotte being a do-gooder and optimist was so opposite of her assertive side and sexual appeal to Julian. I also loved how all four band member, and their spouses, were included and involved with this story. This last book of the series might just be the best one yet. In the words of Charlotte, “PAY IT FORWARD.”
Ms. Chase wrote a delightful story; filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. This book was a wonderful story from start to finished, with an amazing HEA that contained lots of love, laughter, emotion, and tears. I’m quite sad that this series is done. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

Samantha Chase has done it again. The third book in the Shaughnessy Band on the Run was the best one of all three. Saving Julian for last was the best thing ever. Brooding Julian trying to get his life back after a failed relationship of five years meets sweet and trusting social worker Charlotte. The last thing Julian wants is a relationship, but he just can't seem to stay away from Charlotte. I really loved the flow of the story line. Definitely one of the best books I have read this year. I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone I know.

I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.
The description of this book sounded like it would be interesting so I decided to give this one a try. This wasn’t my favorite contemporary romance I’ve read but it was interest enough. The plot was interesting enough to keep me reading but at the same time I wasn’t feeling overly invested in the novel. The characters were ok but Julian and Charlotte were both a little whiny / melodramatic. And I always have trouble getting invested in a story where there’s some rich dude that swoops in and saves the overworked female, because that’s just unrealistic and unfair. I also found the plot to be a tad anticlimactic, or maybe it was just creating drama where I didn’t think there needed to be any, but the tension wasn’t really creating any kind of emotions or anything in me. It was a decent romance novel and I think would be a good beach read for something light and entertaining but it didn’t really capture me.

Wow! I was immediately hooked by the author’s exquisite ability at storytelling, “One More Moment” transforms from a simple love story to one that enraptures readers with emotion, conviction, and vitality. Beautifully written this book is one you won’t be able to put down.
Julian Grayson has lost all faith in people, after being betrayed and used by his fiancé Dena for years. Now with his trust broken he wasn’t even sure that he could go back to his music career. He had always been the type of man, who would be there for anyone, but now he was lost.
Charlotte Clark is a Vocational Rehabilitation’s Counselor who is a dedicated workaholic. Always going above and beyond trying to help her clients, or anyone she can, to make their life better. As she is waiting to get coffee one morning, she notices the unkept man that appeared to be tired and a little agitated ahead of her in line. When he goes to pay he realizes that doesn’t have his wallet, so Charlotte adds his order to hers’ and tells him to “pay it forward.” Julian expects that she has recognized him, and wants something from him in return. But Charlotte doesn’t have a clue who Julian really is.
After a interesting conversation and finding out more about her job with Charlotte. Julian is not only intrigued by her, he is taken by her honesty and her goodness, that he finds almost too good to be true. And he wants to get to know more about her before she finds out who he really is .But Julian also thought that Charlotte Clark was quite possibly the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen, and she was sassy and took his breath away without even trying. He was going to make sure he would see her again.
Watching Julian and Charlotte come together was fantastic. Their journey through friendship, life and love is filled with all the heat, and humor I crave and all the heartbreaking emotion that you can’t get enough of. Julian completely surprised me by his tender romantic gestures as well as his sweet and caring ways to Charlotte. From the first page till the last I was mesmerized by Julian and his story. So engaging in so many ways. This is my Favorite of the series. Do yourself a favor-don’t pass this book by. Not enough stars for this one.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Amazing, this is a book that I could not put down. Loved Charlotte and Julian. Julian is taking a break from life until he meets Charlotte, the fixer of everything. Charlotte now has her job cut out to to help Julian realize what he needs to do to move forward in his personal and professional life.
Loved, loved Charlotte!! She is so sweet, simple and just wants to make the world a better place to live. She is not into all the fancy parts of life. She just wants to "pay it forward". Julian is so wounded on the inside. He needs to heal himself before he can move forward, and not loose the one person he really cares for, Charlotte.
This story is so sweet but still sexy. Loved catching up with the rest of band members. This is my favorite of the Band on the Run books. I highly recommend!!

It’s always sad to finish the last book in a series and say goodbye to characters you’ve come to love. In ONE MORE MOMENT by Samantha Chase, we’re saying goodbye to the members of the world-famous rock band “Shaughnessey” and the women who love them. The final story belongs to drummer Julian Greyson who, after bringing their wedding to a complete halt by totally embarrassing his cheating fiancée in front of the wedding guests, takes a break from the band and goes off on a quest to find himself. He no longer wants to deal with the paparazzi or his rock band lifestyle, so he decides to quit the band.
While visiting a Starbucks, social worker Charlotte Clark mistakes Julian for a homeless man and buys him coffee. Not realizing that Charlotte hasn’t recognized him, Julian gets angry. He is not used to people doing things for him without wanting something from him in return. Charlotte convinces Julian to volunteer at the homeless shelter. He is intrigued by her passion for what she does, and by the time she finds out who he is, there is a strong attraction between them. He continues to find ways to help her at the shelter, but the band and the fans want him back.
This is a classic story of opposites attract. Charlotte is happy, confident, and generous. Julian is grumpy, uncomfortable with his life and had serious issues with trust. Charlotte is very good for Julian, but he is his own worst enemy.
This story grabbed me right from the wedding scene at the start and didn’t let me go. I was intrigued by Julian’s dilemma about giving up the life of a famous rock star, and I loved Charlotte and their developing relationship. The supporting characters remained true to the characters established in the previous books, and I was glad to see that they had major roles in this book also.
All in all, this was a well-written, fitting end to the Shaughnessey Band series. I am just sad that we won’t be coming back to revisit Julian and Charlotte to see how they are doing down the road.
I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
