A few pages in and you’ll be absolutely hooked! Try to read when you won’t be interrupted because you won’t want to put it down. Thoroughly entertaining and beautifully crafted. One of my favorite reads this year. Get ready to fall for these characters, you’ll want to enter their world and not return.

From the moment you open and start reading this book you are pulled in theirs world. You meet Julian, drummer in Shaughnessy Band and Charlotte, who is a social worker, wanting to save the world, one person at the time. When she meets Julian, he looks like one of the people she helps. He doesn't trust her, because he didn't meet person who he can trust in a long time, everybody wants something from him. He is drawn to Charlotte, wants to know her more and more, same with her. They need each other, they are happy together. Wonderful ending to the band series, you meet characters from other books. Love it.

LOVED this!! When I say this story will grab you right from the start believe it! Then there's Julian and Charlotte. These characters were so fun they just made me smile. I enjoyed how they meet and as time goes by you can just feel the passion between them. Recently Julian has been disillusioned by the events in his life but Charlotte is the ray of sunshine he's needed. Her positive outlook and giving nature fills him with hope. He soon finds himself questioning all his life decisions. It takes his bandmates and Charlotte to get him to see all the wonder life is putting right in front of him if he will just take the chance.
This one needs to go on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

As a fan of rock star romances, and completely enthralled by this premise, I just knew I had to pick this book up. Not having read the previous installments though, I had no idea what to expect. Going into this with no preconceived notions I still found it easy to grasp the intricacies of the bandmate’s interactions and the weight drummer Julian is carrying from the very start. From the moment he decides to turn his back on everything, readers will find themselves alongside him as he finds meaning and satisfaction in life courtesy of a kind-hearted social worker. As they spend more and more time together they find themselves falling for each other in a sweet and heartwarming connection that gave me all sorts of warm fuzzies.
Julian Grayson’s always had an air of mystery about him. He’s always been seen as the more reserved of the band, the gifted one, with a romance that none of his bandmates can fathom. Everything comes to a head on his wedding day, all the anger and sadness, have him reacting in a very vivid way that didn’t cast him as a hero. From the moment we meet him here it’s clear he’s unhappy, angry at being valued for who he is as a commodity, and all he wants to do is run away. He’s leery of others and doubts everyone’s motives, all of which makes him hard to like. The moment a caring young woman pays for his coffee is the moment his life changes irrevocably. Just as she pushes him to do good, their numerous encounters also awaken his heart to the little joys in life. Being around her makes him more appreciative and they’re able to connect on a more meaningful level. Interacting with her outside the harsh light of fame allows them to be themselves and it’s at this point that I found a connection to Julian. His Grand Gesture of “paying it forward” put a smile on my face and endeared him to me in a journey where he finally found what made him happy.
Charlotte Grant is a do-gooder, a fixer, who just wants to make things better for those down on their luck. Meeting Julian presents her with just such a person, though he’ll be a tough nut to crack, as together they undertake an emotional journey to HEA. Charlotte’s used to stepping in completely to help others get their lives situated, but when it comes to Julian she’ll have to take on a more supportive role as he learns to appreciate life more. Through all their ups and downs she’s a truly selfless character, one who can’t help coming to people’s aid, but this gut instinct sometimes leaves her bruised. It’s definitely left her with little time for herself, little time to find her own HEA that she so richly deserved. That’s part of the reason why I liked her and Julian together, they both made each other take time to smell the roses and came to appreciate the other for who they were when it was just the two of them.
This is a charming read full of heart, the perfect afternoon read that doesn’t require much thought. There’s a nice flow to it too, one that will keep readers immersed in the endearing connection between Charlotte and Julian. Charlotte’s a near-perfect heroine, kind-hearted and supportive of a hero who’s clearly broken, and her goodness radiated off the page. Julian’s more jaded, more hurt at the start, and it had him reacting in some not-so-heroic ways. From his actions in the opening chapter, to his turning his back on his bandmates, I was a bit disillusioned by him. Though he became a better man by Charlotte’s side, part of me never forgave him for turning his back on his supportive bandmates and it somewhat dimmed my overall enjoyment of this story. With its slow-burn romance readers will be able to see Charlotte and Julian’s HEA play out step by step. It’s not an erotically-charged tale as most rockstar romances are, but it is a satisfying one. With each high and low pulling at the heartstrings though, readers will be rooting for them every step of the way. Surrounding this realistically-portrayed main couple is a cast of equally likable secondary characters that nicely rounded out the story and have me wanting to go back and read the other series installments as they left an indelible mark. On a whole this was a sweet and sensual story full of heartwarming moments that made it the perfect summer read.

Samantha Chase neatly ties up the end of the Shaughnessy Family Series and the Band on the Run series with this poignant story of Julian and Charlotte. The story is intimate with heartfelt conversations. Julian is struggling and Charlotte becomes his touchstone that guides him away from smashing into the rocks. In return he gives her his heart, soul and body. There is plenty of heat to go around as they explore each other’s bodies and become as close as only two people in love can be. You can read this book as a stand-alone, but personally I would suggest that you start at the beginning of the series. You won’t regret it.

This is a great story about the growth of both characters mainly Jules. But Charlotte also has to learn when to let him figure out things for himself. Julian has been betrayed by the woman he loved. After taken three months away from his life he's back to move on, but not really he is too scared to go back to his music to scared to trust himself. He meets Charlotte and he falls in love with her but he is just repeating past mistakes. And Charlotte being a social worker tries to make him see he hasn't gotten over his past. He's ignoring it and not dealing with it. The way the fall for each other so soon you at first don't believe it. But. the author makes it all work there are a lot of characters but all necessary to the plot this is a great read

With the release of the final book in several of the book series I follow, this summer has been bittersweet for me. So, when I receive the ARC for “One More Moment” by Samantha Chase, I said, “Oh no, not another ending!”
I loved the Shaughnessy Brothers series and its offshoot, “Band on the Run,” so saying goodbye to the Shaughnessys a second time put a small pang in my heart. After all, I said goodbye to the Shaughnessy clan in October 2017 when Holiday Spice was published.
A year later, I’m saying goodbye to them again with “One More Moment,” the story of Julian Grayson, the drummer of Riley’s eponymous band Shaughnessy. And what a sweet farewell! Samantha Chase knows how to hold her audience and make them love the characters, both old and new, till the very end.
Rock stars are known for their egos and Julian Grayson has it as much as the next guy. So, when Charlotte Clark mistakenly thought of him as a homeless guy and paid for his coffee, Julian’s ego was scandalized beyond belief. Because to Julian, the impossible just happened – a girl was not falling all over his feet.
Charlotte Clark has a big heart and part for it fell for Julian. Except that it was not the usual “save your fellowman” feeling. There’s that attraction that made her heart pitter-patter. A mistaken identity made her fall in love with him, but the revelation of who Julian truly was complicated their situation. Plus, the paparazzi and Julian’s past added enough stress that just turned Charlotte world’s upside down.
To Julian and Charlotte, loving each other was never a question. The question was – is their love strong enough to survive Julian’s fame?
“One More Moment” is Rated T for Teens for some adult themes. Parental guidance is advised.

One More Moment is book 3 in the Band on the Run Series which is also a spin off from the Shaughnessy Brothers and I have say this book certainly didn’t pan out the way I thought it would. When drummer Julien Grayson walks away from his bride at the altar it seems the band may have run their course as he decides he needs a break from friends family and fame to contemplate his future. Julien meets Charlotte when he is in a line for coffee only to realise he has forgotten his wallet and when Charlotte offers to pay it forward and buy his coffee he is convinced she must have recognised him and she must have ulterior motives but Julien can’t forget the instant attraction he felt for the girl trying to buy him a coffee and he finds himself at the coffee shop each morning at the same time which has Charlotte thinking this guy must be homeless.......
This is a love story about a man who is intense and serious and a woman who is cheerful sweet and sassy can the two opposites make their relationship work especially when one of them is not prepared to give up their heart completely. This book isn’t just about love and attraction it’s about healing and learning that love will often happen when we least expect it. This book has all the feels you want or need in a story it has characters you can’t help loving and it’s a great addition to one of my favourite series.

One More Moment is book three in the Band on the Run series. It's a spin-off of the Shaughnessy Brothers series.
We finally get Julian's story and if every anyone deserved a happily ever after it was him! Gah, Dena was a nightmare that he needed to escape from. Probably not exactly the way he made it out, but go big or go home, right?
Charlotte Clark tries to make the world a better place for her clients. She certainly doesn't expect the backlash she gets when she attempts to pay for someones coffee. But that chance meeting will alter her life forever and bring happiness in it's wake.

I totally enjoyed this book by Samantha Chase. I think it was one of her better stories. The characters were perfect for each other and the setting brought the story to life for me.

3 1/2 stars
One More Moment opened with a bang. Julian is getting married, watches his beautiful bride walk down the aisle, and then a video plays of her cheating ways. Now that is the way to start a story, even if it does make the reader squirm a bit.
Three months later, now that Julian has returned from his therapeutic roadtrip, he runs into Charlotte at a coffeeshop. He looks destitute and has forgotten his wallet; she wants to save the world and immediately buys him his coffee and muffin. She has no idea that he's a famous rock star. The meet cute!
First off, Charlotte is one of the most refreshing heroines to pop up in a romance lately. She's so well written and stays pretty true to character throughout the novel. She's a social worker who helps out-of-work individuals find their way again in society. Everything about her is geared toward helping other people.
Initially I really liked Julian. He seemed thoughtful and introspective and did wonderful things for Charlotte and the homeless shelter, but as the novel went on and facets of his character were displayed, he seemed like a rollercoaster-ride of a human being in need of therapy. I think more care should have been given toward his characterization because once you show a flag-raising jealous streak with attitude and jerkiness attached to it, it's hard to tuck it back in the box without lots of grooming and explanation, which wasn't done enough for me. He really, really needed to talk to someone, or something. This was unfortunate because there were several instances where he seemed like the perfect guy.
Most of the events were involving and moved the plot forward. More thought should have been given to having Charlotte's best friend suddenly pop up near the end of the novel, because it made Charlotte seem like a person who ditches her friends when she gets a boyfriend. And, why have a character just pop up out of nowhere?
This was the first novel in the Band on the Run series that I've read, and it can mostly be read as a standalone, except you have the insertion of all of the characters from the previous novels and a couple of pages of updates of people who meant nothing to this reader. Am I the only one for whom this produces a big ole yawn when you haven't read any of the previous books?
All in all, One More Moment is an enjoyable novel. If you're looking for a real rock star romance though, this probably isn't it because the band is on hiatus.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love how Julian and Charlotte met. I thought that it was pretty funny that she didn’t know who he was and actually thought he was down on his luck or possibly homeless. She fell in love with him for what he was not who he was!
I was surprised that Dena showed back up in the story but it gave Julian the best possible closure that he needed. She definitely deserved everything she got on her wedding day - she was no one without him!
I enjoy reading a lot of Samantha Chase’s books because she likes to at least mention little old NC - and that’s where I live!

I loved the third installment of The Band on the Run series.
I think Julian and Charlotte are my favorite couple. Julian has trust issues and Charlotte wants to help everyone. Watching them figure out how to make those things work together is so much fun. Ms. Chase does an amazing job as usual with the story even updating you on the characters from past stories. Phenomenal.

This was an absolute delight! Charlotte Clark is waiting for coffee behind a disheveled looking man who is grumbling and when he gets to the front of the line and orders he realizes he forgot his wallet. She offers to pay for his coffee when she orders his and he is angry and dismayed and follows her out of the coffee shop. Julian Grayson has never gotten anything before without someone asking for something in return. He is insistent she wants something. Charlotte is convinced he is homeless and just wants to help. He is actually a rock star who has been running from his life for the past 3 months. What follows is a remarkable love story that renews our faith in others. Charity given for the sake of just a good deed with nothing expected in return is the best thing and we really do reap what we sow. This is the end of this series and since I have not read the rest of the series I was not lost. I did read several of the Shaughnessy books and loved those. I think it is time to go back and finish that series and find the rest of this one.

This was yet again another amazing sequel written by Samantha Chase. The story is about Julian Grayson who has decided to take a break from his band and being in the spotlight. Also from his cheating fiancée. Charlotte Clark has always been devoted to her work to help the homeless and help the world. Charlotte offers to pay for Julian's coffee, but he thinks she knows who he is, but Charlotte has no idea who he is at all. I love the dynamic of this book. My favorite has been Julian all along.

Such a fun book! I love the chemistry between Julian and Charlotte, their meet cute wasn't so cute when Julian mistakenly assumed that Charlotte made the offer because she wanted something more from him. Since she didn't know who he was, she was the breath of fresh air he needed at that point in his life.

Drummer Julian Grayson takes an epic exit from his wedding -- leaving everyone stunned. He takes a hiatus from the band and life in general. After travelling across country for three months he returns home. But after the epic wedding failure he is still filled with so much anger that he is unwilling to deal with. Social worker Charlotte Clark comes to his aid one morning -- thinking that she is helping someone down on his luck.
Julian is not used to having someone do something for him without an agenda. Charlotte has always been a giving person who doesn't expect anything back. So when Julian continues to gives her lavish gifts instead of sharing himself and his feelings they encounter a rough patch.

One MoreMoment is the first book I’ve read in this series & it was really good! Although this is part of series, i did not find it difficult to follow along. Julian Grayson is the hot drummer from the popular band Shaughnessy. His fiancé has humiliated him & he wants out of the spotlight. Charlotte Clark is the exact opposite of Julians former fiancé. I loved how Charlotte & Julian met & I enjoyed reading their love story. I will definitely be reading the other books in this series! 5 Stars ⭐️

If one word could sum up this book, it might be “unexpected.” Many of us have the memory of a small, seemingly random act that turned into more than we imagined. When vocational counselor Charlotte Clark buys a coffee for the guy ahead of her in line, she thinks he's in the same dire straits as her clients, possibly even homeless. She tells him not to worry about repaying her, but to pay it forward. After a few more not-so-random encounters they get to know each other a little better. Imagine Charlotte's surprise when Julian eventually reveals he's Julian Grayson, drummer for the famous rock band, Shaughnessy.
The early copy I read of this book was my first by this author, and for me it was certainly unexpected. I figured I was reading another common romance in a vast, cluttered sea of them. I anticipated a few hours of escape and that the characters would leave my mind as soon as I was on to the next book. Instead, Charlotte and Julian snuck into my heart and now refuse to leave. These characters were a delightful, evocative, spellbinding, heart-gripping surprise.
Charlotte is such an amazingly good person that her goodness infuses everything she does. She’s content with her ordinary life and finds satisfaction in the good she can do for her clients and seeing the difference her assistance makes in their lives. She’s genuine, down to earth and compassionate and her natural inclination and training make it impossible for her to not try to help others in need. Of course these are all things that draw Julian to her.
Now Julian is a different story. He’s a pretty colossal mess during most of the book, and one of my favorite lines is when Charlotte tells him “I loved you when you were being completely unlovable.“ In Julian's defense, he's had some pretty carpy stuff happen, with his girlfriend of five years using him for his fame and money and cheating on him most of those five years, but he didn’t help his case with the publicly humiliating way he ended things. He also didn’t help his relationship with his band mates, who've been like brothers to him, by running away for three months and then turning his back on music. He has a lot of anger, even rage, to work out and his preferred coping mechanism is avoidance. He also tends to fall back on old relationship practices that may have worked with his fiancée but have the opposite effect with a very different Charlotte.
Charlotte and Julian are the most believable, complex, endearing characters I’ve read in quite a while. Ms. Chase made them so authentic and realistic I felt like I knew them personally and was completely invested in seeing them get their forever, as I would be for any good friend. She also exemplifies something I wish a lot of authors would figure out. The reader's connection to and investment in the characters come from the depth of the emotional connection between the two characters, which may or may not include detailed sexy times in the bedroom. Have no doubt, these two have some deep emotions that tugged my heart all over the place, and their chemistry is so smoking hot it’s impossible for the reader to miss. Because of this, I found the story fully complete and satisfying even without the bedroom details. In some ways, I think it made the connection between the characters stronger since the focus was on their interactions, their thoughts and their feelings.
One More Moment breaks the mold and shatters any preconceived notions of the rock star romance trope. There is little of the rock band trappings, and Julian is definitely an atypical rock star. But after spending a good portion of the book wallowing in anger and trapped in the past, he manages to redeem himself in an epic way, giving a whole new meaning to “pay it forward." It was amazingly beautiful to see and filled my heart so full I thought it would burst. All of his internal fighting and wrestling and being stuck just made his figuring things out and overcoming his demons that much more rewarding. If you’re looking for something fresh, inspiring, captivating, unique and unexpected, you'll love this book. But be warned, Charlotte and Julian will undoubtedly steal your heart.
*I reviewed this book freely and voluntarily, having made no commitment to provide a review and receiving no compensation of any kind from any source for this review.

This is the third book in the Band on the Run Series about the members of the fictional band Shaughnessy. Although it is part of a series I think it can be read as a standalone but will be more enjoyable as part of the series. I enjoy Samantha Chase's writing style and the characters she creates. I loved the beginning and the "meet cute" for Charlotte and Julian but I spent 75% of the book completely frustrated with Julian. I do love a damaged, brooding hero but Julian tried my patience a bit. Luckily he gets his act together in time to "get his girl." I am looking forward to book 4.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
