4.5 Star Review of One More Moment (Band On The Run #3) by Samantha Chase
What do you do when you are virtually left at the altar? That is the position drummer Julian Grayson finds himself in and he decides to take 3 months off and retreat to the beach to contemplate his life and his future.
When Julian forgets his wallets and cannot pay for his coffee Charlotte Clark offers to pay. Julian is sure that she has recognised him, and this is an attempt to get him to “owe” her. after all he is a famous rock star, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Charlotte has no idea who Julian is, all she was trying to do was a good deed.Charlotte is sweet and a tad naive and decides to throw herself into helping Julian transform his life. Julian decides to go along with it knowing full well he will have to eventually reveal who he really is. What will happen when Charlotte finds out the truth?
I was riveted from the start with this book and it was fantastic to see some characters that I recognise make an appearance. This book at times was an emotional roller coaster with plenty of drama, angst and love sprinkled throughout.
Although a stand alone I do feel you might get more enjoyment if you were to read the previous two books in the series
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review through the publisher and NetGalley

I love anything by Samantha Chase and I especially love the spin-off of Band on the Run from the Shaunnessy Brothers Series. Although I'm sad to see the conclusion of the series -what a great way to end it.

Julian has been gone for the past three months. After disappearing after the wedding that never happened, he's tired of the humiliation and shame he feels from living his life in the spotlight and he's ready to step down. The only thing is that Julian is so talented that the guys in the band refuse to let him go. They give him time... time to think, time to contemplate, time to feel like this is the end of the road in the entertainment business for him. So instead of leaving, he goes to Malibu to hide out for a while, while he tries to figure out what's next.

In Malibu is where he runs into Charlotte. But there's a misunderstanding. The beautiful woman who is a social worker mistakes Julian for a homeless man. Julian tries to correct her, but she has no clue who he is and he kinda likes it. So he lets the charade go on.

Charlotte finally finds out the truth and the truth is that Julian is a hurt man... but will he ever be able to let go of the past so they can have a future.

I love Julian. He was the perfect mix of douchbag and a man with a heart LOL. Charlotte was the right heroine for him. Not putting up with the BS and a strong character altogether.

I loved this series and highly recommend it.

Will he let her love him?

Charlotte is a social worker who helps people get back on their feet. And when she meets Julian, who is back in town after spending three months on the road trying to find himself, she thinks he needs help.

Julian finds it refreshing that Charlotte doesn’t recognize him and is no hurry to clear the misunderstanding. But with chemistry heating up between them, till when will he be able to hide his truth ?

I loved the flow and the way the relationship progressed between Julian and Charlotte. Julian’s journey of finding himself and what he wants was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Charlotte and Julian were perfect for each other. With Charlottes support Julian was able to find inner strength and overcome his past. I loved catching up with the rest of the Shaughnessy band and have them all come together once again.

"The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments."

Well let me start by saying I have become a huge fan of this author. She writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to
This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

An amazing conclusion to the Band on the Run series! Julian was the right mix of mixed up and caring. And Charlotte was every good thing in one woman. I loved the meet-cute and the pay it forward aspects of this story. Seeing the band back together was awesome, and I finished the story with tears in my eyes! This is my favorite of this series, but I think I say that after every new book that comes out!

Julian is the drummer in a well known band but after a public scene featuring his cheating almost bride he wants to get away from it all. He believes he can't trust anyone but then one day he meets Charlotte. She is a former social worker who works helping people find jobs and homes in a local shelter. Julian is suspicious of her behavior because he's never met anyone who didn't want something from him. It takes awhile but Charlotte shows him what real love is. Great Rockstar romance.

I loved Charlotte and Julian together. It was interesting that the problems were all on him this time. Great story line. Couldn't put it down.

I loved it when Julian was explaining how normal his band members and their wives were to Charlotte. It just makes me love them even more.
Charlotte loves Julian for who he is not what he does or what he can give her. She makes him want to be a better man.

Julian Grayson, rockstar just left his bride at the alter after finding out she was cheating. Charlotte Clark is a vocational rehabilitation counselor. Julian has been on a sabbatical to give him time to forget about his breakup . He is staying at a friend's house for a while and meets Charlotte in a coffee shop , where he looks broke and angry and pays for his coffee. He follows her outside and wants to know what she wants. She doesn't recognize him and tells him that she wants to help him if she can. He doesn't reveal who he is at that time. He helps at the homeless shelter and doesn't reveal who he is until later. Once she knows, she doesn't care until he starts treating her like his former girlfriend wanted to be treated. Charlotte doesn't want presents. She wants him to get his life together and be who he really is.. After thinking about what he needs to do, he realizes that music and Charlotte are what he needs. Great story with likeable characters. I received this book from Net Galley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for a honest review and no compensation otherwise.

First of all, this was my very first book by Samantha Chase and let me tell you it was a certainely page turner. The blur itself cought my eye and I've known by then, I would love it. It's part of Shaugnessy brothers series but can be easily read as a standalone as the stories of the other band members are nicely explained.

One more moment was beautiful story with lots of ups and downs. Both characters were strong personalities. Although Julian was struggling from his failed relationship and needed to take care of his anger he was smitten by Charlotte and her genuine and selfless ways to help everyone and slowly falling in love with her.

The writting was expressive, colourful and full of emotions. Simply amazing.

I would say this book wasn't definitely my last read by this author.

Wonderful book. Julian Grayson was a rock star that had a very public breakup and retreated from life. He met Charlotte in line at a coffee shop where he had forgotten his wallet and she paid for his coffee thinking he was broke. She was all about helping people and he really needed help. She got him volunteering at a shelter and he was surprised that it made him feel better. By the time he told her who he was she was more than embarrassed. The story move quite quickly and Julian had lots of growing to do. Very well told.

Another book from Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run Series, this time Julian the band's drummer finds love again. Julian has a few rough months behind him after leaving his cheating fiancee at the alter he takes a break and after coming home his attention is captivated by social worker Charlotte. But he is making the same mistakes all over again and is not trying to forget the past and suddenly for Charlotte love is not enough. So this is the first book from the series and I don't know the previous stories but I was not very impressed. I liked the Charlotte she was very likable kindhearted wanted to help everyone. The one that I had a problem with was Julian he acted like the worst crime was done to him, he knew that his fiance had cheated on him constantly and still wanted to marry her and was then repulsed by her action. He didn't know how to talk, didn't wanted to listen. He had for me a really stupid reason not to go and play with the band anymore. SPOILER And what I was surprised a little bit negatively that Charlotte had, in the end, quit her job and went on a long vacation.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

I LOVE Julian!! This has become my favorite story in this series. Julian is disillusioned by the music industry and love so he shuts himself down. Charlotte is a young woman that gives of herself to help other less fortunate. This story has all the feels of a great romance! I couldn't put the book down and read it in a day. That does not happen often for me. LOL!!

This was the first book I read in The Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run series. While I enjoyed it, I will say that it might have been better if I had read the other books in the series first.

Julian is intense and jaded by the life he leads. Charlotte is sweet with a beautiful soul. The chemistry between the two was amazing. The characters made me root for their happiness. I grew attached to them and didn't want the story to end. I truly enjoyed reading this book.

This was a solid 4.5 read for me. A wonderful way to wrap up the bands tale! Julian has always felt that people used him because of his fame. So, when Charlotte offers to pay for his coffee, he assumes she has an agenda. When he realizes she doesn't know who he is, it intrigues him. He can't help but fall in love.

Samantha Chase has truly outdone herself with this one. I think Julian and Charlotte are now at the top of my list of favorite couples. This story gave me all the "feels" and kept me hooked from start to finish. This entire series does not disappoint.

Samantha Chase writes series that grab you and don't let go, and her Band on the Run series is no
exception. One More Moment wraps up the series and tells the story of Julian Grayson, the drummer for the Shaughnessy band. After his off/on relationship ends with a bang, Julian is a runaway groom. He takes time out to try and deal with the betrayal and make some hard decisions about his future.

Julian meets Charlotte at a coffee shop when she offers to pay for his order since he forgot his wallet. Does she want something from Julian Grayson, rock star? No, she sees a rumpled, unshaven man, who appears to be down on his luck, and doesn't know he's famous. Charlotte is a vocational counselor who helps people find jobs and get back on their feet. and her intuition tells her Julian is adrift.

"Believe it or not, it's taking the first step that truly is the hardest. We tend to build up these scenarios of self-doubt in our minds and think we can't possibly overcome the hard circumstances and it paralyzes us."

While Charlotte is referring to the homeless that she helps, her words ring true for Julian as well. Having been raised not to be quitter, he had done everything to make his relationship work. The betrayal caused self-doubt and left him unable to trust.

The relationship between Charlotte and Julian starts at a slow simmer but progresses quickly once they give in to their mutual attraction. Being with Charlotte helps Julian learn to trust and be open to love again. Julian's bandmates, are also great sounding boards as he works through his issues.

Chase's wonderful writing style and engaging characters kept my interest throughout the book. While she develops the relationship between Charlotte and Julian, we also get updated on Dylan, Matt, Riley and their spouses, as well as Riley's siblings from the Shaughnessy Brothers series. I really think the band manager, Mick, deserves a story too!

Well this is definitely a case of saving the best for last. No matter how much I love the men of Shaughnessey, Riley, Dylan and Matt; Julian is now sitting behind his drum kit at the top of that sexy mountain of men. This is my absolute favorite of the Band on the Run series!!! I adore Julian!! And Charlotte turns out to be exactly what he needs even if it isn't completely obvious to either of them at first. The change in Julian from the beginning to the end of this story was an amazing journey to watch. I felt his anguish, indecision, pain and embarrassment to the bottom of my heart, just as I felt his healing, joy and love. So well written and so soothing to the soul.
I loved catching up with all the couples and hearing about all of Riley's siblings especially my favorite, Owen. Boy did hearing Owen and Brooke's news make me smile and then squeal out loud like a crazy woman!
I give this wonderful story all the stars there are to give!! Amazing!!

This is the first book I've read by Samantha Chase and whilst I never really felt at a disadvantage starting this series on the last book I did struggle to connect with Julien and found him to be quite a frustrating character. But nevertheless it was an enjoyable story, that although extremely sweet had enough going on to hold my interest. Plus, the romance between Charlotte and Julien, although lacking chemistry progressed nicely, was easy to read and I liked the contrast that was struck between the pair. And the appearances of the rest of the band certainly intrigued me enough to want to check out their own stories at some point in the future.
