Newlyweds Kim and Brien are on their second honeymoon at a luxurious spa and resort. But the trip is anything but peaceful and relaxing when they are pulled into an investigation involving kidnapping, arson, and murder. Can they find out the truth or are they in over their heads?
This is the third book in the series but my first. Although this book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone mystery, I think I might have enjoyed the book more had I read at least book one first. The characters are fun and quirky with their love of old beach movies and surfing. The book has a good mix of humor and mystery. There are several twists and turns to keep the reader guessing.
I voluntarily agreed to read a copy of this book supplied by Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own and in no way have been influenced by anyone.
Light read, good mystery. A few to many Moondoggies for me, however the book was well written. The premise was good, and the story well developed. Loved the location and surfing detectives.
Kim and Brien are on the case again in this fun, fast-paced mystery. I love going to Corsario Cove to visit and never want to leave the locale or the characters. The story had plenty of turns to keep my guessing.
This book isn't to my taste. I found all the surfer dude lingo and the dialect to be immature. #HeinousHabits!corsarioCoveCozyMystery3 #NetGalley
Package comes to lure Kim and Brien back to Corario Cove, with their investigation skills. GPS device and message “of enemies in the kingdom” all it took to be back at beach and friends. How much did the Father know of the cave of forgotten dreams and antiquities, who of the monks are involved. A delightful plot of mayhem, and wisdom. Awaiting another by Anna. Given ARC by Net Galley and BooksGoSocial.
