Still reeling after her recent kidnapping, and the knowledge of who was behind it, Detective Jude Fontaine has little time to recover before she becomes enmeshed in a new investigation into a mass murderer. There seems to be no motive, no common m.o., no link between the killings. It isn’t until a math professor approaches them and shares his belief that the killer is working through his crimes like a gigantic math problem, one the math professor can solve. Fraiser creates wonderful, tortured, imperfect heroes and heroines and Jude is one of my favorite

Loved The Body Counter! This is the first book I've read from this author. I will be reading her others now. It was very suspenseful and I read it in a day. I really liked the characters and their backgrounds. Thank you for the opportunity to read this before it is published!

Body Counter - 5 stars
This book was better than book one, and I loved book one . The suspense and the way the plot unfolded will keep you glued to the pages. I couldn't put it down. I'm glad there was character growth. The foreshadowing at the end , has me greatly anticipating book 3.
In this book both Jude and Uriah make headway in dealing with personal issues in a more healthy way. They also become closer . Trust has always been an issue for both of them. The villain in this book is using the Fibonacci sequence in conjunction with murder . The body count is high in this book . There's a lot of anticipation while reading. There's also a lot of whodunit while reading.

This is a second book which continues the story of Jude Fontaine in what I hope will be a long series.
