Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

I'm going to be honest, I enjoyed the first one but wasn't sure about finishing the rest of the series. That said, I LOVED this one. Watching Isabelle and Beast get together after seeing the way they reacted to one another in the first book was such fun. Add in some close proximity (it is a Beauty and the Beast retelling after all) and some delightfully steamy scenes along with a lot of heart and I was hooked. Now Ariel is my favorite princess so I'm intrigued to see what her story brings.

In Bed with the Beast by Tara Sivec is a good fit for readers looking for a lighthearted and humorous contemporary romance with a focus on personal growth and the blossoming of love between two seemingly opposite characters.

I left a 3 star rating when I read this book 4 years ago but didn't write a formal review. I am marking the rating here to move this book off my shelf.

Title: In Bed with the Beast
Author: Tara Sivec
Format: ebook
Genre: Romantic comedy, enemies to lovers
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Book 2 in The Naughty Princess Club
POV: Belle
Steam Level: Steamy
4/5

This book was adorable. Belle is a librarian whose library is in danger of closing. Beast (or Vincent) is the gruff bouncer who orders Belle to come home with him when he realizes that she is living in the library. As Belle and Vincent get to know each other, Belle is also finding her confidence. I loved Belle's fact-dumping quirk and Vincent's quiet protectiveness. In Bed with the Beast is uniquely adorable and I'll definitely be reading more of Tara Sivec.

I received this book for free from NetGalley. This is my honest and voluntary review.

The gang is back for more shenanigans and I am here for it! I loved Belle and Vincent, the banter, and the perfectly-timed comedic moments. This series is a fun trip and I highly recommend it for lovers of rom-coms or modern takes on the classics!

I get where the author was trying to go with this. It's a fluffy, low-angst, sexy retelling of the fairy tale and has elements of the Disney movie woven throughout.
Unfortunately, the elements that tied it to the Disney movie and fairy tale kind of fell flat. I appreciated that Belle worked in a library and had her degree in Library Science, but I got the feeling that the author didn't quite know what that entailed. I got that Belle was supposed to be a nerd, but having her recite entire paragraphs of random facts just felt really weird. One sentence, I could see. But entire paragraphs?
And as for Beast--his beastliness was a bit...underwhelming? And it sure didn't take Belle long at all to bring down his defenses. It might just be that I'm more into angst than I thought I was.
I did like the other suitors that Belle met on blind dates. It was ridiculous, but felt on-brand for this particular story.
So, I can see where this would be a great book for someone looking for something short, easy, and happy. Unfortunately, that's not my cup of tea and I had a hard time getting into it.

I’m loving these books! The characters are awesome and hilarious. I love romcoms and these are definitely ones I’ll be recommending all the time. I’ve been looking forward to Belle’s and Beasts story and it didn’t disappoint. Some of the scenes had me laughing out loud, especially with Ariel.
If you want a good laugh, pick these up! Start with Cindy’s book, then this and now we wait for Ariel’s :)

Isabelle and Vincent fairy tale was engrossing and I read it in one setting!
It was entertaining from the beginning- I laughed swooned and was rooting for Belle and her beast!

I'm really loving this series by Ms. Sivec....seeing her take on the classic Beauty and the Beast fairytale was a great read! Belle is a girl that's very shy and until she hooked up with the other ladies to form The Naughty Princess Club her life has changed dramatically including the fact that her controlling father throws her out... I totally wanted to slap him upside the head by the way!!

So when Vincent, our "Beast" lets Belle live in his extra room well, we get to learn so much more about this moody man...and there's a room that's off limits....well you know Belle is determined to find out what's going on in there!!

I loved seeing Belle come out of her shell and the feelings between these two grew very slowly but it was definitely the right way for them... they're definitely opposites, but they both want to have the forever kind of love!

All in all this is a great addition to this series!

I know Tara Sivec from her humorous, lovely, easy romance reads. This one is not an exception. If you love her sexy humor, if you love a good contemporary with hilarious and awesome characters, you shall not look further. All the best from the works of Tara Sivec.

This is In The Bed With The Beast, book 2 of the Naughty Princess Club, written by Tara Sivec. We start with our beauty, Belle, the local librarian and champion for the written word. Also known as a Book Nerd. On the other side we have Vincent, the gruff, muscled man of few words with a penchant for growling. They both have a problem and are trying to figure out how to solve it without sharing it with the other. Will Belle be able to tempt the Beast into taking a chance on trust? What secrets are the Beast hiding? What is the big deal with the in-house rules? You will love the interaction between them and watching them both evolve. Cindy, Ariel and Belle and a total hoot when they get together. And, being that this is a Tara Sivec book, we get our nod to pop culture with Live P.D. references that are spot on! It’s a great book and you won’t want to miss this one! Now I can’t wait to read Ariel’s book!!

Such an awesome hilarious read. I read back when it first came out and didn’t realize the review didn’t post but I would still recommend this as a top read for beauty and beast fans who want a big twist since this definitely isn’t Disney

I am a sucker for Disney. I am obsessed with it; have been since I can remember. I was soo excited to hear about a romance series coming out that was based around the Disney princesses. AND by an author I've already read and loved!
This series is hilarious!! I knew after reading one of Tara's older works, Seduction and Snacks just how funny it could be. I love that Tara took a spin on this and had the "princesses" struggling in some way. Each princess struggles through something which is how they met. I love the modern take on it too! I love that its not a historical fiction or some kind of fantasy romance.
My favorite character is definitely Ariel. She has made me laugh so many times, I've lost count! I am so excited for her book!

*4 Stars*

This was a fun continuation of this series. These three friends are quite hilarious together. Belle is a great female lead and I loved watching her come out of her shell and learn to stand up to others and stand up for herself. She also learns a lot about herself in this process and really grows into a strong young woman.

Beast is quite the interesting hero and I quite liked him, even with his abruptness and growly temperament. He's very sweet with Belle as they get to know each other.

Lots of fun and an easy read, definitely recommend this one and look forward to book 3.

Guess what? Tara Sivec has delivered another hilarious romance book in The Naughtier Girls series. And it is Belle story!

I absolutely love reading about Belle in At The Stroke of Midnight. And now she gets her own story in In Bed With The Beast. Belle is known for her quiet nature but she is anything but quiet. She has grown up with a very strict fathers that wants to shelter her no matter what. But she wants to let her hair out and have fun. And she does with the new peeps, Cynthia and Ariel.

They all get to explore the stripper life since they are going into business. And it is definitely adventure for Belle. Belle will get to know more about herself than ever. I love it even more. Every person should explore who they are. While Belle getting to know more and more about herself, she gets to know more about Vincent “Beast”. Vincent intrigues Belle so much because she knows that he is soft teddy bear even if he denies it.

Vincent “Beast” is the bodyguard of the strip club. He is known for his physical statue that they often call him the “Beast”. But he is really a sweetheart underneath his grumpy self. Vincent buries a lot about his self that you just want to hug him. It always take time to get over something or to move on. But you will always need the help of someone because they will be there no matter which Belle does.

Belle and Vincent may be unconvental pair but they definitely belong with each other. They have weakness and strengths between each other that it strengthen their relationship as a whole. I like them together. They completely complete each other. Plus, they have hot chemistry that their scenes are explosives.

In Bed With The Beast will brighten up your day no matter what. Definitely pick up a copy. Four Stars.

I love Tara Sivec! This was such a fun book. I loved the characters and the story line flowed well. It was a great easy read that kept my attention throughout.

Belle is a bookworm who spits out weird facts. That was one of my favorite things about her in this series. You never knew when it was coming. Beast is broody and closed off and hard to read. Very hot and cold. Beast helps Belle when she gets into a jam but he doesn’t let her in easily.

This book was good and I loved the transformation we see with Belle! She went from timid and shy to more outspoken and assertive. We also got to see Beast’s softer side and I loved learning his backstory since I’m a sucker for a tortured hero. Another plus for me was that this story had a nice slow burn. You could feel the chemistry and could cut the sexual tension with a knife. Those are my favorite types of reads.

As expected Cindy and Ariel are also present for this story and I love these ladies so hard. Special shoutout to Mrs. Potter! As much as I look forward to Ariel’s book, I’m sad this will be the last one.
