A sideways slant at the corporate machine. Circumstances force a man to grow up and simultaneously let go of the superficial adult trappings in his life

Book Review: An intriguing adventure from tech company to bar band.
From Nothing: A novel of technology, bar music and redemption
By Ken Goldstein
When board room antics force Victor Selo to re-evaluate his life, he finds himself going back to his roots. He started out in music trying to find his big break when an opportunity fell into his lap. Silicon Valley called offering him an executive position. When faced with a fork in his life he took the less risky path with a greater chance of success. Five years later he didn’t recognize his life and he certainly didn’t expect to find himself escorted by security from the company he came to love.
Nursing his wounds at the local bar secured him a stay at the hospital when his day turned from disappointing to tragic. Then a mysterious man arrived to throw him a lifeline letting him start over from his previous music life. Not everyone gets a chance to reinvent themselves or return to the beginning before the forked path; giving one an opportunity to re-evaluate previous decisions. Victor Selo became one so lucky.
Author Ken Goldstein takes the reader on a musical journey filled with backstage chaos, intrigue and a genuine hope that Victor will succeed.
When Victor appears to be down on his luck, he becomes the underdog the reader will root for. From Nothing is a thrill ride story with larger than life characters that pull you along for the ride; you can’t put it down until you turn the last page.
