A intense read by Iris Johansen that I enjoyed reading. I would recommend this thriller to any of my friends who like thrillers or mysteries.
Another fabulous Dr. Kendra Michaels book. The usual characters, Kendra Michaels, Adam Lynch, Olivia and Jessie Mercado are all excellent. In this book, Kendra is drawn into a murder investigation. Adam is almost killed, and Olivia is kidnapped. The activity is constant and kept me turning the pages faster and faster, I await the next instalment in this series. Thank you NetGalley, St. Martin's Press and the Authors for allowing me to read and review this book.
Another fun, fast paced mystery in the series. I enjoy these light easy reads. The characters are entertaining thiugh not super relatable. Good beach books.

Lynch ex FBI with secrets of his own.
I will be waiting impatiently for the next book in this thrilling Kendra Michaels series.
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the 6th book in the Kendra Michaels series. I feel like the author gave you enough background information so you could read this book even if you haven’t read the others.
Kendra was blind for 20 years before an operation gave her sight. To compensate for being blind her other senses were much more accute than a person with sight. Kendra is a music therapist but is called on by the FBI to help on cases. Because of her acute senses she notices things at crime scenes and can read people which makes her a very valuable asset. A woman has run into the street bleeding from a bullet wound and is hit by a car. In her pocket is an envelope with Kendra’s name on it and a flash drive. On the flash drive is the video of a wedding. When people from the wedding disappear and turn up dead, Kendra’s reluctance to take on the case is overcome by curiosity and determination to find out how they are connected and why the dead woman wanted so desperately to get the video to Kendra. Adam Lynch, former FBI agent who now works freelance for government agencies is helping her.
This book has something for everyone who reads the romantic suspense genre. There is suspense, danger and of course a romance. I would have given this book 5* except for the ending. Part of the plot was left unresolved for the next book. I don’t mind having some of the story left hanging but there was too much left unresolved for me. That is why I am giving it 4 1/2 stars. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
