This was my first time reading anything by this author and MARIANA left me pleasantly surprised. The story isn't the type I am normally drawn to but, the description called to me .Mariana has a little bit of time travel, romance and history set around a 16th century English farmhouse.. I enjoyed the characters that the author has created and thought the unexpected twist was well done. I will look for other books by this author.
