I absolutely loved this book it was so good great addition to a already brilliant series I really enjoyed can't wait for more I recommend reading this story and books from the author
Dayumn....Although I wish it was Dom's story.. I was happily surprised to see it was TRICK'S.
This was something different. It was right up there with other Suzanne Wright novels, but the journey always comes as a surprise .
And oooooooooooooo the ending. The Truth.
I LOVED IT !
I enjoyed this book but then again, I've enjoyed every book I have read from its author. I loved the characters and their relationship. The storyline was interesting and kept me wanting to read till the end. It was wonderfully written, just like all her other books are. Basically, if you love this series so far, you'll love this book.
I loved seeing Trick finally find his mate. I felt I got to see a different side of him with his mate,Frankie, then we do with all his pack mates and allies. The sex scenes were smoking hot. I loved Frankie. She was his perfect match of course. Her art is described so well, that I could see it in my head. Frankie is different than the females in her own way, but mixes in with the Mercury pack easily. I enjoyed this book. I cannot wait to get Dominic’s book and to see who finally ends up with him.
I received a free, advance copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased review.
Yes! And were back baby! Wild Hunger gives us all the elements we've come to adore in Suzanne Wright's books. Trick has become a new favorite of mine with his love and loyalty to his mate. Such a sweetheart! Frankie is so honest and true to herself. They fit so well! and I'm loving the little element of mystery in this one. The prior book Lure of Oblivion was a little off to me but this one is a hit and were back on track.
I’ve been waiting on Trick’s book patiently. My patience paid off. Trick was sure and steadfast without any commitment phobia, hang ups or angst. Frankie was a thoroughly interesting character. A dominant female herself but when it came to Trick she submitted to him beautifully but still held onto her strength. Catching up with the rest of the Phoenix Pack was great, in particular the drunken karaoke scene.
Another amazing plot, well actually a few sub plots which were gritty and thrilling. Suzanne’s writing gets better and better with each book. I will eagerly await Domonic’s book, however it will be the last of the original Phoenix Pack which makes me sad. My favourite series, absolutely worth reading.
As always, a good story. Two very likable wolves who don't spend their time denying their nature. The ending had a little twist to it.
Trick is a fierce wolf. He has always accepted that there was a mate out there for him and had no intention of fighting it. When Frankie is reunited with members of her old pack, he knows instantly that she is his true mate. Due to her traumatic past, he is will wait until she realizes it herself.
Frankie has been lied to all her life. Her human family kept her parents' death a secret from her. Events she doesn't remember. They have never been all that accepting of her choices in life and to some degree that she is half wolf. She doesn't let that stop her. She is a talented artist and comfortable with who she is. She tries to keep Trick at a distance but it doesn't last long.
Reuniting with her family and pack puts Frankie in danger.
Suzanne Wright has a way of making you read this and see it and feel so involved and absorb every emotion. She paints the most amazing characters and has plot twist that makes your jaw drop and make you curse out loud.
Lets start with Trick. Trick had me swooning. He has waited for years for his true mate and until she came he had sexual encounters with other people, female and male, and he let everyone know it wasn't serious. he never lead anyone on and it was always brief. He's been waiting for as long as he could remember for his mate and when he finally found her he did everything in his power to keep her. I liked that he didn't dominate her, he was just there, inserting himself in her life and being everything she needed him to be. He went at her pace as long as she understood that he wasn't going anywhere. He was so possessive, dominate and stubborn but he was also understanding, sympathetic and he put her first even though his one track minded wolf didn't understand and kept fighting him. He gave her space when she needed it although he made sure she knew he was still there.
Now lets get to the heroine. Frankie was awesome. She is very strong but has a vulnerability not many people can see. I really felt for her. She was raised by her grandparents who does not share her passion for sculpting. Although they love her, they do not understand her. They try to mold her into who they want her to be instead of trying to understand her and he half wolf side. I tried to be understanding bout their pain because of the tragedy that happened when Frankie was 3 but there is no excuse on how they treated her. Taking her and raising her the way they did was more about revenge. Despite everything that Frankie went through with her grandparents, and ex she didn't let that stop her from living her life the way she wanted to and despite everything she didnt let it beat her. As secrets was reveled she handled it a lot of better than i would. one thing I loved about her is that to me she thinks like Trey. She analyze things before she makes a decision and then she acted. She didnt just take in stuff before she would react.. No one (until Trick) has ever put her first and when Trick came along it took a while to get use to someone thinking of her and putting her first, someone saying to hell with everyone else but you. I like when she realized who Trick was to her she didnt let the tragedy that happened to her run away or paint all wolves with the same brush. I like that she looked for answers instead of just taking everyones word. She has a quick mind and she is hilarious.
Reading her books make me wish that there was such thing as shifters and alpha mates and that i have true mate out there like Trick, Trey, Dante, all of the men on the phoenix and mercury pack.
Honestly Suzanne Wright is my favorite and reading all her books reminds me why.
There are a lot of things that will have you on the edge of your seats, laughing out loud, grasping especially a drunk Greta. I like that there are more than one thing happening but its not all over the place or you do not get lost. It was easy to keep up with. This is a must read. Thank you so much
Thanks to Netgallery for letting me read this book. The Phoenix Pack has always been one of my favorite series. There's love, shifters and always some kind of mystery. I have been waiting for Trick to find his Kate as the other Enforcers have and I wasn't disappointed.
