One of my favourite series! such a good one to just jump back into and its really easy to fall back into. At this point any one of Suzanne Wrights books is an automatic read for me, I think I legit have read all of her books and series and given them all 5 stars.

This book is with Trick and his love interest, I liked trick and his immediate like and knowledge of his mate, Although Frankie's reluctance to see her family as they really are and connect the dots can be a little tedious I still enjoyed the story and the progress/ as well as some hints to the Mercury Pack series.

I have been waiting for Dominic's story since the very beginning of this series and its clearly been saved as best for last ;) I can't wait to find out whats going on with him he is my favourite for sure.

As it literally says in the above review title, I am completely incapable of objectively reviewing a Suzanne Wright PNR book, especially anything from her <i>Phoenix</i>, <i>Mercury</i>, or - perhaps my all time favorite - <i>Dark in You</i> series.

So you've been warned.

I love her writing.
I love her humor.
I love her strong, self aware and confident female leads.
I love her ridiculously sexy alpha males.

I just love everything, folks.

I don't even care that a lot of her books resemble each other.

Everyone <i>always</i> smells like exactly three mixes of random shit, e.g., mint, jasmine, and the ocean breeze...or dark chocolate, berries, and frothy cappuccino...nutmeg, cinnamon, and spring fucking grass...whatever any of that actually smells like.

Who knows.

Every female lead is VERY similar and makes very similar - and yet hilarious - one-liner jokes about Greta's age.

To be blunt: all of Wright's books - especially her shifter books - follow a formula to some degree.

This bothers some people who want every book to be completely original and life changing, blah, blah blah.

Cause you know what I like?

I like a sure thing.

I like knowing that I am going to pick up a Wright book and get EXACTLY what I want:

Fated shifter mates.
OTT alpha males.
Awesome female leads whom I love and relate to SO much.
Crazy hot sex scenes.
And a decent plot to tie it all together.

All that said, I definitely enjoyed this newest installment.

Trick and Frankie were a cute couple and I enjoyed how they came together.

I also enjoyed reading about how Frankie dealt with certain issues in the book.

So many times, certain characters will allow other characters in a book to treat them like shit and manipulate them to all ends; but not so here. Frankie stood up for herself and her boundaries through every turn and, like I said, I just dig that Wright makes her females so self-aware and confident and yet doesn't make them TSTL and "I'm a strong woman *stomps foot like five year old*" like so many other authors do in an effort to make them seem so.

And with that, adieu.

I have not read previous books in the series. The review is based only on my thoughts about Wild Hunger.
This author created a well-written story about shifters with twists that made me yelp from surprise!
The world is created carefully with a lot of details that added a lot to the amount of pleasure I was experiencing.
Frankie I a half shifter. She was kept away from them - she was living among humans all her life. I loved her character, but I would add more distress to her mind during getting to know her heritage as a shifter.
Trick is a wolf in Phoenix pack, he is so dominant and yet gentle with Frankie! I LOVE HIM! And he is a shifter so loyal and protective.
The overall well-written story with great characters that will mesmerize every fan of shifters romances.

Ever since I grabbed up “Feral Sins” many years ago, I fell in love with this series and this author. There is so much fun snarky humor and sexy times and great plots in each of the books that I can never resist grabbing them up. And I was so thrilled to see that I had the chance to read “Wild Hunger” and I have been waiting for Trick’s book for quite some time now and I am so glad that Wright has finally written this long anticipated story and it was well worth the wait.

What I admire most about this series are the characters….they are so passionate and strong willed and determined to make a good life for themselves. Even characters that are more submissive in nature, have their own courage and strengths that are admirable. In Wild Hunger, we have a story of bringing in a lost member back into the fold. Frankie was a young child when she lost her parents when her father killed her mother and then killed himself. She has no memory of the event or those that were her friends and family. She has lived with her maternal grandparents ever since and they have kept her isolated from the pack ever since. But when a fellow pack mate from the Phoenix Pack…Lydia reaches out to her, she wants to know more about her past and the family she has never known. She reconnects with old members including a sexy male…Trick, who always has her back and one she has a unique connection to.

I found myself simply in love with this story and the unfolding mystery behind the deaths of Frankie’s parents. And wow this author blew me away with this ending, not what I was expecting at all but I do love that about Wright is when I think I have everything in the story figured out she tosses me another wrinkle that is so unexpected and keeps me on my toes. And I found the romance in this story to be so REFRESHING. The hero especially, once he meets Frankie, he knows that she is his mate and more than ready to claim her but he does take it slowly with her. This story had me laughing so hard and I love the humor that Wright places in her stories, they just always seem to work for me.

An engaging, intense filled plot that will keep you guessing and will have you on the edge of your seat in ways you don’t expect….PROVOKING!!

Oh Trick, you sexy beast!

If you’re a fan of the Phoenix Pack Series then you’re going to love Wild Hunger. Trick and Frankie’s story is fast paced, steamy, entertaining and endearing. Frankie was taken away from the pack, after the death of her parents, when she was 3 years old. I loved how Trick knew as soon as he looked into Frankie’s eyes, when they met again as adults, that she was his mate. There was no questioning it or denials, he was all in from the get go. Frankie grew up with humans so it took her a little longer to understand the signs but she, like Trick, accepted it and appreciated it.

If you’ve read the previous books in the series, then you know that Trick is a wolf that has swung both ways, sexually speaking. That is brought up in the story and I can happily say that I didn’t have any doubt that Frankie was everything that Trick wanted and needed in a mate. He didn’t hesitate in addressing her fears and laying them to rest.

Trick is a great hero, one of my favorites in this series. He was so good to Frankie, always supporting her and reassuring her. He’s a dominate alpha and you see that but he doesn’t bulldoze over Frankie. He’s considerate, caring, possessive, protective and oh so sexy. I liked how open he was, he didn’t keep things from Frankie.

I really liked Frankie as well. She is strong, caring, witty and sarcastic. She has a thing against proverbs and I kind of agree with her there.

"That’s okay. I’m good at getting what I want. There’s more than one way to skin a cat.”
Frankie’s brows snapped together. “Why would you want to learn even one way to skin a cat?”

Frankie has been lied to most of her life and had no idea that her Grandparents lied about what happened with her parents and that she was once part of a pack. Her Grandparent blamed the pack for the death of Frankie’s mother. I understood Frankie’s struggle in wanting to make both sides of her family happy. She had so many things thrown at her in this book, I was thrilled to see Trick there for her every step of the way. They were a perfect match.

Wild Hunger is a great addition to The Phoenix Pack series. I highly recommend it.

I have read every book in every series by Suzanne Wright, and this is now a favorite in the Phoenix pack!

This book had all the ingredients.
Funny, sweet, hot, action, suspens.
I love Suzanne books she is one of my favorite paranolmal authors.
The main caracters in this book both al fabulous, strong but vulnerables at the same time.
I loved that they do not fight the atracción.

I loved this book, well written and thought out and cannot wait until the next installment. I have found myself becoming invested in the characters and not able to put the series down - finished this book in one sitting.

Loved it! It was cool to revist the characters again like Dominic being his very corny self (can't wait for his story). The recation scenes wherever Trick used a proverb was funny.
Can't wait for the next one.

Like most of Suzanne's fans I have been patiently waiting to get Trick's story. He has been a character that has intrigued me from the start. Quiet and mysterious we never really knew much about him beyond the little bit we got from Marcus's book. I was really curious to see who he was and what he would be like when he found his true mate. I was pleasantly surprised.

Frankie, like the other females in this series, was amazing and strong. She stood on her own two feet and didn't need anyone to fight her battles for her but at the same time knew when to back down to keep her male's ego from getting bruised. Her story was much different from those we've encountered so far and left me guessing throughout the book who did it and who could we really trust?

As always these characters, new and old, fit together seamlessly making this a book that I couldn't put down from start to finish.

Whenever I'm in the mood for a paranormal book Suzanne Wright is the first author I think of. And Wild Hunger proves why she's the best at writing this genre. This story completely sucked me in and captivated me from start to finish. I love this Pack and the characters we've met throughout all of the books, and Trick was no different.

I loved the sweetness of him waiting for Frankie to be ready to admit that he's her mate. Instead of being all growly and intense with her like I've kind of come to expect from these shifters he was patient and understanding to her situation and I adored it. I think it was actually somehow hotter than a big bad alpha (small a, not Alpha of the pack) male.

I was obsessed with Frankie from the very beginning but I honestly can't point on what it was that made me like her so much. Her whole vibe was just amazing to read about and I thought she was the perfect fit for the Phoenix Pack. I admired her strength of going into such an unknown situation a lot and I liked that we got to see her fight through her vulnerability to do that. I felt like her character was one of the more complex ones of this series but getting to see all the different aspects of life was amazing.

As always there was a Pack story going on that focused on everyone and not just the main characters. I really like that there are always these connecting stories so that we can see more of the Pack without them taking over the story or being mentioned so much that it makes you lose focus of who the story is actually about. Overall, everything about the book was very fun and enjoyable to read about. It has me itching to get more from this series and also the Mercury Pack series. I'm just not patient when it comes to these wolves.

So wonderful. I love these stories of the phoenix pack wolves. Suzanne Wright has done it again, yet another amazing read from her.
Love, love, love this author, I would literally read anything she writes at this point.
Her world filled with alpha-bossy males and kick-ass, sassy heroines has me captivated.
It was great to finally get Trick's story and find out how he meets his mate, half–wolf shifter Frankie.
Frankie was a personal delight for me, I really liked her personality and character . A little more fragile and not so in your face snarky as some of our other heroines in this series but with a sweetness and vulnerability that was refreshing.
Now I just have to survive until Suzanne's next release.

I loved this book I have read all the Phoenix and mercury books and they keep getting better and better. Loved what Frankie does for a living and how she is related too Lydia and the story with them. The plot was different and I liked it. One thing I love about Suzanne books always more then one thing going on love that about her books. Great read can’t wait for the next three books and was real sad to read about bracken and what happened to him and his family

his was a refreshing addition to the series. We got to revisit all our favourite characters and have lots of humour like previous books but this one also had an element of mystery that I really liked. Frankie was part of the pack until she was 3 and taken away by her grandparents to live with the humans. She didn't have any memory of being part of a pack and basically grew up human. I really liked Frankie, she was funny and at times sweet, and she never jumped to conclusions, she thought stuff through and remained calm. I especially loved her dislike of proverbs, that was hilarious. I fell in love with Trick pretty quickly and he just kept getting better and better. He was sweet but also smoking hot which is a great combo. I loved how sure he was about Frankie and that there wasn't really that much angst about them being mates. Overall a great addition to the series and I definitely recommend. Now I just need to patiently wait for Dominic's book!

I love this book. I have read almost every book in this series. This book is funny and sexy. I love Frankie and Trick. The relationship between them is so sweet, smart and hot. The characters from the previous book show up which is fun. A really great read. I look forward to more book in this series.

I feel like this series is just getting better and better. In the beginning, we had main couples who fought the idea of being true mates and the last few have had more acceptance. In Wild Hunger, there was no pushing away and I loved it!

This couple was such a treat to read about. I get such a kick out of couples working together instead of against each other. To me, that kept the focus on the true angst of the story which is Frankie's past and the new threat to the Phoenix pack.

I'm really enjoying this series and seeing past couples together. If you enjoy dominant men that have possessive and protective streaks, this series for you. You can read these books as standalones but I do think you will enjoy them more if you start at the beginning and learn everyone's story.

It sounds like Bracken may be next but we still have Dominic without a mate as well. I don't think I will ever get tired of this series so I hope the author keeps them coming! ARC provided by NetGalley.

I can't even begin to explain how much I love Suzanne Wright's books!! Every chance I get, I re-read one of her books from this series or the Mercury Pack series. She is one of my absolute favourite authors!!
Even though I really wanted Trick to have a male mate, I really liked Frankie! I loved how she never doubted that they were mates and just accepted it, she had a lot going on but she never pushed Trick away.
I don't want to get into what exactly happened because I think everyone should find out while reading it but I can just say that you won't be dissapointed!
Trick and Frankie are two great individuals that became an incredible couple and I absolutely loved Wild Hunger!
I can't wait for Dominic's book!! Please don't make us wait long!! And after what happened to Bracken in this book, I NEED his book urgently!!

The one thing I can always count on when I read a book by Suzanne Wright is that I will not be disappointed. No matter what she writes, I’m always fully immersed in the story and the characters. & one thing is for sure, she knows how to write a brilliant paranormal book!

Frankie is a half shifter who for reasons has been raised by her human grandparents. Trick as we know, has been waiting for his mate for what seems like forever, but is feeling like he is slowly losing hope as he watches each of his pack mates pair off and find their happy ever after.

Filled with the usual humour, action, passion and mystery, Suzanne has written another winner in the Phoenix Pack series. Well written and engaging as always, I cannot wait for Dominic’s book! I have my fingers crossed that Dominic’s book isn’t the last for the Phoenix Pack series but I know I’ll still get my shifter fix with the Mercury Pack!

I was intrigued by the summary initially; and even though I was familiar with the author (had a read one of her Mercury Pack novels), I was little apprehensive when I found out that it was book seven of a series that I had never read. Happily, it was easy enough to fall into the story and pick up on the characters and their relationships to one another.

I thought this novel was a fun read overall. Generally fast paced, likeable characters, and an interesting plot. It was an enjoyable way to pass a lazy weekend day.

I would definitely be interested in reading earlier Phoenix Pack novels by Suzanne Wright and recommend this book without reservation.
