This was a cute (it almost felt like a YA read), quick read with lots of laughter, feels and some sizzle It was a very insta-love situation since this relationship lasted only 3 days but when you know, you know! Lots of cute animals. I loved Taylor’s meddling family.

What a fun read this was!
Fake fiance - one of my favourite tropes 😁😁 with animals - yippee 😄

A predictable, but engaging story, with several laugh aloud moments and few dramatic events (which were needed for the story).

Loved Beau, Caitlin, Taylor, Grams, Bethy and everyone else!!

Waiting for Fiona's story!

4.5 stars — This one was so cute, and exactly the kind of romance I was needing for this winter day! I laughed a lot, and felt a lot, and really enjoyed both the main characters as well as the cast of friends and family backing them up.

I probably warmed up to Caitlin a little more slowly than Taylor, only because she was holding on to so much pain, and doing exactly what her friend said: punishing herself for making a mistake. It was hard to see the aftermath of someone who had been beaten down and emotionally abused, someone afraid to trust their instincts. I loved watching her blossom, not only under Taylor’s attention, but the attention of his whole family. It was very gratifying. I loved that we saw these moments of strength, where you knew she was going to be okay if she could just get over that last hump.

Taylor was such a different hero for me…and yet not. He was just so positive, and kind of carefree. And maybe a bit shortsighted on how to change his life so that relationships were possible….basically he was stuck in a rut and didn’t know it. I loved how happy and lighthearted he was…I loved his relationship with his family — it just made your heart swell. I loved that he was kind of lost and uncertain about these new feelings, but it didn’t mean he wasn’t going to pursue it.

And they were so great together. I definitely felt their chemistry, both friendship and more.

And as I said at the beginning — the secondary cast was definitely a huge part of my enjoyment of this book. Taylor’s family was hilarious and heartwarming. I loved the way they teased one another, but you could genuinely feel the love underneath. And Beauregard was such a sweet dog, I loved what he brought to the story. And I enjoyed the glimpses of Caitlin’s best friends, and even Taylor’s friendship with Will.

So yeah. Just exactly what i was looking for — a sweet, lighthearted romance with just enough to tug on the heartstrings.

THIS STORY WAS SO CUTE! As a petsitter myself, I absolutely loved, and identified, with Caitlin. Also, can't help but fall in love with a sassy doggo.

Hilarious! I really enjoyed Three Day Fiancee. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Caitlin is a dog walker who is studying for the CPA certification exam who dreams of the day she can be a full partner in the business her two friends created. They have really been there for her until she shut them out when she started dating and later married her ex-husband, more commonly known as the parasite. After her marriage, Caitlin no longer trusts herself when it comes to making decisions about men which is too bad because she meets Taylor.

Taylor is the owner of one of the dogs Caitlin walks each day, a giant, sweet dog. Normally Taylor is gone when Caitlin picks up Beauregard, but, one day he is running late and he needs Caitlin's help so that he can get off to work on time. Beauregard ate something he shouldn't have and he needs to be monitored. This one incident is the catalyst for a crazy weekend where Taylor and Caitlin pretend to be engaged so that his grandmother will get off of Taylor's back. She has a 3 step program where she plans to get him married and he is not cooperating. Unfortunately, Taylor and Caitlin have bit off more than they can chew (See how I did that?) and Taylor's entire family are watching them closely. The entire weekend and what follows is seriously funny.

Three Day Fiancee by Marissa Clarke is a delightful romantic comedy and the second story in her Animal Attraction series. It’s loosely linked to her Anderson Brothers series (which I highly recommend), with a fake engagement trope and an insta-love romance.

Taylor Blankenship is a helicopter pilot for the Anderson Brothers. On call day and night, he never knows quite what his schedule will be, so he has set up a dog-walker service for his large and affectionate St. Bernard. While his grandmother wants to see him married, he’s got no time for a relationship.

Caitlin Ramos is busy studying for her CPA exam so making some money working with her friend at Animal Attraction as a dogwalker is perfect for her schedule. When she discovers Taylor's Dog Beauregard playing with an antique ring, in her quest to save it from being swallowed it ends up stuck on her finger – just in time for Gram to show up at Taylor’s apartment. Naturally she assumes that Caitlin is Taylor’s fiancée! Desperate to please Gram Taylor asks for a huge favor – pretend to be his fiancée for a 3 day family trip to the Catskills to celebrate Gram’s birthday. Caitlin agrees on the condition that Taylor will help Animal attraction run a charity fundraiser in return. Next thing you know, they are playing their parts so well for Taylor's family that things start to seem almost real. But when their weekend is over, will they call it quits or give their fledgling relationship a chance?

I love a good fake relationship story and this one has lots of laughs and quirky family situations to make for a thoroughly enjoyable read. The excursion to celebrate Grams birthday includes fun family togetherness and wacky party games (like Twister and Truth or Dare). It's not long before pretending to be close leads to real kisses and some passionate and sexy times together. They can both agree that what happens on this trip is a no strings attached fling, but it's Taylor who realizes that he doesn't want things to end so fast.

For Caitlin who missed out on having the kind of close family that Taylor has, the feeling of fitting in is addictive. Because of this, she's not sure whether her feelings for Taylor are real or just because of the circumstances. Plus she's been burned before. It's up to Taylor to convince her that what they've started doesn't have to end. Beauregard gets a starring secondary character role, and Taylor's family is the kind one would wish to have. There's a happy ending for everyone, and a sweet epilogue too. I recommend Ms. Clarke's romances if you like sexy, lighthearted romantic comedies with guaranteed happy ever afters and I can't wait to read what she has in store next!

A dog, a ring, a pretend finance, a scavenger hunt and a meddling Grandma.

This story had amazing charm, a fabulous plot and lots of hotness. While this is part of the Animal Attraction series it can be read as a standalone.

This is a must read!

I liked the hero, his family and pretty much everything in this book. Caitlin was not one of my favorite things about this book, but I won't hold it against her or the book. The story is good and the secondary characters only make things perfect. My favorite parts of the book were the ones with Taylor's family. They were funny people and that part gave me a warm vibe and some laughs. Is this a story we have seen many times before? Yes it is, but it's one of the good ones. As you can see from the blurb it involves insta-lust and for me it worked well. I am recommending the book because it was a short, light read and I enjoyed the ride. Next is Fiona and I hope her story will be released soon.
ABOUT MARISSA:
Marissa Clarke is a multi award-winning, RITA® nominated author of romance for adults and teens. She lives on an island in the middle of a river. Seriously, she does. When not writing, she wrangles her rowdy pack of three teens, two Cairn Terriers, and one husband. Inexplicably, her favorite animal is the giant anteater and at one point, she had over 200 "pet" Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. The roaches are a long story involving three science-crazed kids and a soft spot for rescue animals. The good news is, the "pet" roaches found a home... somewhere else.

A fun book of family and love you didn’t think you needed. Grandmothers are always right!
An easy read which made me smile

I’m not sure why I requested this book from NetGalley, because I really don’t like the fake relationship trope. Although, it’s kind of a recent epiphany of mine, so maybe I requested this book before I made that realization. At any rate, I wasn’t very excited about reading this book. But that being said…Three Day Fiancée was actually pretty funny.
Taylor’s grandmother jumps to the wrong conclusion when she finds dog walker, Caitlin Ramos, standing in Taylor’s kitchen wearing an engagement ring. Not wanting to disappoint his grandma, and to get her off his back, Taylor convinces Caitlin to continue the ruse during a family get together for the next three days.

For some reason – that really didn’t make much sense to me – Caitlin agrees, despite serious concerns. Once she gets there, and meets Taylor’s family, she ends up having a really good time. She didn’t grow up with siblings, or a family that was close and got along, so she enjoyed the games and the food and the hanging out, joking around and having fun. She knows it’s not real though…

And thus is the reason why I don’t like the fake relationship trope. You have to read over and over about how their feelings are becoming real but there’s no way it will ever work out between them. And neither of them is ever willing to just SAY THE WORDS to turn things around or work things out. I just find it frustrating.

But despite my usual displeasure with the way these plots go, this book was funny. It frequently teetered on the border of trying too hard to be funny. The ending was a slapstick, ridiculously silly scene that mostly made me want to roll my eyes (I prefer humor to be more subtle and realistic) – however I frequently laughed out loud. Ms. Clarke has quite the flair for comedic writing, and I enjoyed the characters and the pacing. I just didn’t much care for the plot. Which is on me, and not the author. If the fake relationship trope is one you enjoy, you’ll like this book. For me, though, it’s a win if I was able to finish it, which I did. Would I be willing to read more by Marissa Clarke? Yes…just as long as it’s a different trope.

Three Day Fiancee Marissa writes a well-crafted romantic comedy. The grandmother and the dog add some hilarious scenes.
Caitlin is working with her friends as a dog walker while she is studying for the CPA exam. She has just escaped from a toxic relationship and is definitely not looking for another one. However when she sees the Saint Bernard’s owner in a towel she realizes she can still appreciate a good form. This is just one of many scenes that will have you cracking up.
Taylor is working as a helicopter pilot for one of his military buddies. He has a crazy schedule and has not minded since he is not ready to settle down. His grandmother has other plans. She is adorable and a hoot.
My favorite scenes were those with his family. It reminded me of the Sandra Bullock movie, The Proposal.
There are other books in the series but each stands along and I didn’t feel that I missed anything from not having read the others. I am downloading Dr Jane next.

I received this book from Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review.

This was the first book I've read by Marissa Clarke and I found it to be very well written. The characters were fleshed out and likeable. I really enjoyed reading it.

THREE DAY FIANCEE is a sexy and romantic contemporary romance from Marissa Clarke. I loved Dear Jane, the first book in this series, and I'm pleased that THREE DAY FIANCEE is written in the same fun and flirty vein, ensuring lots of laughter and feel good moments.

Unlike a lot of military guys who are the brooding types, Taylor is fun guy who loves to smile and laugh. We should have more heroes like him! He also clearly adores his family, especially his Grams and little sister Bethany. In fact, Taylor's family is/are one of the best secondary characters I've seen. I love their weekend in the Catskill Mountains, and the games they played. Who celebrates their 62nd wedding anniversary that way? So fun and unique. He has hot chemistry with Caitlyn, who needs a guy like Taylor to show her that not all guys are like her ex.

Mainly, the story is well-written and easy to read, as the words and the scenes flow naturally, except for the scene towards the end, the one after the mayhem was over. It was a bit awkward--I mean, of course the scene would be awkward, considering the situation, but our reading of it shouldn't be. The writing didn't flow as well here as with the rest of the story and I felt like the author was trying to force the scene to be romantic.

I've read a lot of Entangled titles over the years, and this is the first time I find more than a few grammar mistakes in a book. Hopefully, maybe this copy I'm reading is one that hadn't been finalized yet. There's one error that took me out of the book though, and this is one where during the fundraiser, Jane said she saw Paul (in reference to her fiancé). I thought her hero's name is Eric? I went to look it up and yup, it was. Unless there's something I'm missing in the scene?

That aside, THREE DAY FIANCEE is a wonderful read and a great addition to the series.

A cute read!

Taylor and Caitlin are brought together by a Saint Bernard and a misunderstanding with a family heirloom (and OMG, that floss trick is real! But if you have a giant, flat oval stone, it's not nearly as effective, sadly) and soon they're on their way to a three-day family weekend, fake engagement in tow. Hi-jinks ensue (egged on by aforementioned Saint Bernard and nosy relatives) and of course they're soon becoming more attracted to each other than they'd anticipated going in (which of course was not at all. They each thought the other was attractive, but they "don't have time for a relationship," naturally...)

Cute though fairly predictable ending--if you haven't read the first book in the series yet ( Dear Jane ) no worries; this one works well as a standalone.

Now, by my calculations, we have at least one more Animal Attractions employee who needs to find an HEA... ;)

Rating: 3.5 stars / B-

Three Day Fiancée is such a cute romance. I loved the plot and characters, especially the matchmaking grandma. The author is new to me and I am sure I will be reading more of her books. If you enjoy reading a good romance with a touch of humor this book is for you.

When your St. Bernard eats the ring your grandma gives you to give to that special someone. Even though you know you have no time for that. The only person to help you is the dog walker. Taylor is the only helicopter pilot for the company he works for he is never around as he is at the companies beck and call. Caitlin is a dog walker and this St. Bernard is no match for her, the owner that is another issue. When he makes her a deal she can't refuse it she has to let her guard down a little. With a little help from her friends who knows where things can end up.
This book will crack you up when you least expect it. It will also make you believe in love.

Delightful!
What can I say, I am a sucker for the faux fiancée trope.
You know going into it that there will be a "deal," then shenanigans, secrets, and juicy repercussions.
And Caitlin and Taylor's three-day journey did not disappoint!
My first time reading Marissa Clarke and I found her writing style easy-breezy, well paced, with just enough angst to keep my interest, and enough clever dialog to make me fall in love with everyone LOL. And Beauregard. And Taylor's grandma. Lurved me some Grams!
I will read Marissa Clark again, for sure. Fiona's character?....hmmmm....
One last note: That Cover!
I can't say why this one caught my eye, but those laughing faces and giant puppy body called to me.

Caitlyn/Caity already had a crappy day. There was no hot water for her shower, she didn't get her usual double shot espresso, then the problem with her hair dryer, then she almost got run down by a garbage truck and her boots had been splashed by some nasty fluids and then it poured on her. Caitlyn wondered what else would happen to her on this crappy crappy day. Caitlyn was co owner of Animal Attraction- Soho’s premier boutique pet care service. Back when Caitlyn was in grade school with her two best friends they had planed and dreamed about a place like Animal Attraction. But a year ago Caitlyn had made that dream come true with Animal Attraction and brought the three of them back together. Jane ran the place, Fiona provided vet services and there was two groomers, one receptionist and three dog walkers. Well Caitlyn was only being a dog walker until she passed her CPA exam, then she would do the books for the shop. But also she had left GA finally she had met Gary in when she was in college to be an accountant but she quit to run off and marry Gary who she thought was the love of her life. She had trusted her heart and Gary and both had let her down big time with a broken bank account. Caitlyn would never be that stupid again. It would also be a long time before she ever trusted a man or her heart again. So dating was out. After finishing her degree online while working full time and she dove right into her CPA exam prep Caitlyn’s first dog was a Saint Bernard who was labeled a problem client. Beau was on his third agency. But Caitlyn and Beau had hit it off and he had never given Caitlyn any trouble. But today Beau was crashing around in the apartment and barking. Then she heard a man yell Beauregard stop! Sit! Stay! She opened the door a crack to see a hot man wrapped in a towel chasing Beau around yelling at him. After Beau was calmed down the man who’s name was Taylor and he told Caitlyn she had to stay all day and she turned and walked out. As she waited for the elevator the man explained Beau had swallowed something valuable and it had sharp edges and he was worried it would hurt BeauThat stopped Caitlyn as much as she loved number crunching animals were her real obsession. Caitlyn then asked what Beau had swallowed and Taylor said an engagement ring and he wanted her to stay until he got back from work or Beau passed the ring. He added that he loved Beau and Beau was his best friend. Caitlyn called Jane and she said she would find someone to do her appointments or she would do them herself as Beau trusted her and his master Taylor was her most important client. Then Caitlyn noticed Beau making an odd chewing motion and looked into his mouth and there was the ring and Caitlyn got it out. She cleaned the ring and put it on her finger just for a minute then she couldn’t get it off. Then a woman knocked at the door and let herself in. Caitlyn realized it was the older woman in the pictures around Taylor’s apartment and she seen the ring on Caitlyn’s finger. Taylor came home to his Grams believing he was engaged to the dog walker who had really caught his attention. Maybe this could all work for Taylor. Taylor took Caitlyn into the bathroom to talk explaining why he had called Caitlyn his fiance and why he needed her to pretend to be his fiance until after his grandmothers party. Taylor was to be moving to Boston at the end of the month. Then Caitlyn further learned she would be going with Taylor to the Catskill Mountains for three days and would ve back Sunday night. Caitlyn didn’t realize how drawn she was to Taylor and his family. She g=had set up a no sex rule but on the last night she had given in to what Taylor and she had so desperately wanted.
I loved this book, it was a quick, easy enjoyable read. I loved how Taylor and his family all interacted . I also love how Taylor and Caitlyn interacted. I loved Taylor and Caitlyn together. This was just a great romance. I felt bad that Caitlyn had been hurt so severely after having a lousy family life as she was growing up. I loved how Taylor’s family immediately accepted Caitlyn. Even after the three day fake engagement. I also loved Caitlyn’ s two best friends that had been her best friends since grade school and were still there for Caitlyn as well as being in business together. I loved how Taylor was willing and did quit his job to be with Caitlyn. I felt like I was there with Caitlyn and Taylor and everyone. You had to love Beau and he did add to this book. I didn’t want to put this down . It had my attention from the beginning until the end. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.

This story held much hilarity. Caitlyn's character had me in stitches in some scenes. The series greatness continues in Three Day a Fiancée by Marissa Clarke that was a joy to read.
