What a sweet and heartwarming read Three Day Fiancee by Marissa Clarke turned out to be.

The storyline is well written, the plot is entertaining and the characters are likable and very relatable.
From the first few pages I was hooked, I loved watching the relationship between Caitlin and Taylor develop, they made me laugh, they made me swoon and they made me fall in love with them.

Three Day Fiancee is a wonderful addition to the Animal Attraction series and I highly recommend it.

What a fun read. I loved this!

We meet Taylor and Caitlin. She’s the dog walker of Taylor’s dog (the only one he actually likes) and through a series of misunderstandings they have to pretend to be engaged to fool Taylor’s family.

Anyway, I loved both these guys, they were such fun and omg his family was a hoot! It really was exactly what Caitlin needed after a jerk of an ex. He was great with her and I just couldn’t wait for them to realize that this was it, they were meant to be.

Such a fun and sweet and lovely read. Absolutely recommendable. :-)

Such a cute story! Of course, one of my favorite kind of stories are those with animals in them, so when I started reading and it has a dog in it, I totally got into. Loved this story!

Three Day Fiancee is a funny sweet romance featuring some lovable characters and pets. Caitlin and Taylor meet when his dog Beau swallows an engagement ring making him late for work. Caitlin always walks Beau and didn't expect to walk in the apartment to a very nice looking man wearing nothing but a towel. He enlists her help with retrieving the ring and when she gets it back, it is so gorgeous that she can't help but try it on. Too bad for her his grandmother shows up right when it gets stuck so what follows is bound to be good.

I really enjoyed this book and couldn't get enough of Caitlin and Taylor. They work really well as a couple and I was cheering for things to become real between them the whole time. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance.

Dog Walker Caitlin Ramos’s morning is off to a horrible start. Her building doesn’t have hot water, the deli where she gets her morning coffee isn’t able to make coffee, and she gets rained on while walking to see her 7am client, Beauregard. But, in an “oh my” jaw dropping moment, her day picks up in a memorable meet/cute when she lays eyes on Beau’s owner for the first time.

Taylor Blankenship is at his wits end. His two-year-old Saint Bernard has decided to swallow a family heirloom and Taylor doesn’t have time to wait Beau out. Luckily he runs into his dog walker and is able to convince her to help him out.

In a comedy of errors, Caitlin and Taylor find themselves pretending to be engaged during his family’s fun filled weekend getaway. For these two, the line between make believe and reality gets blurred and hearts get put to the test.

Three Day Fiancée is the standalone second book in Marissa Clarke’s Animal Attraction series. The book and series are loosely related to Marissa’s Anderson Brothers series. From start to finish, I loved this book. I honestly thought the laughs would just be in the beginning of this meet/cute, but they actually continued throughout the book. Taylor is a to die for hero who’s funny, charming, and sweet. Caitlin is a likeable and relatable heroine. She wants to make up for her past mistakes and make something of her life. She doesn’t necessarily believe it or know it, but she’s braver and stronger than she gives herself credit for.

If you’re looking for a read that you can simply lose yourself in, that will have you laughing and sighing, Three Day Fiancée is definitely the book for you.

4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A fun, flirty story about two people who need to pretend they are engaged after a misunderstanding. What they aren’t expecting as that maybe they have found something real.

Caitlin is walking dogs just until she has taken her CPA exam. As soon as she does she will finally start her life over and do what she has always wanted to do. Until then she is stuck with the dogs, but their is one in particular she likes, Beau. When she arrives to walk him though she is greeted with his owner who is more than she bargained for. And when she needs to help him retrieve an engagement ring from Beau, she is in for a wild ride.

Taylor loves his family and will do anything to make them happy and if that means pretending to be engaged for the weekend, then he will do it. Trying to convince Caitlin to go along with him is easier than he thought it would be, but as the weekend goes on he begins to feel as though maybe they have a real chance together. He just needs to convince Caitlin that he isn’t like her ex and to give him a chance. Easier said than done.

Will Taylor and Caitlin be able to work it out? Or is there too much in their lives to take a chance on happiness.

Taylor Blankenship is a desperate man and needs Caitlin Ramos's help. Luckily, she gives him the perfect opportunity to convince her to be his fake fiancée when his grandmother discovers a certain ring in her possession. Will Taylor be able to convince Caitlin to give him a real chance, or is their fake relationship all they'll have?

Having absolutely loved the first book of this series, I couldn't wait to read more about the women of Animal Attraction and I've got to say that Ms. Clarke does not disappoint. Right from the beginning, this story was very entertaining due to what the hero wants the heroine to do and how he convinces the heroine to be his fake fiancée. How could he disappoint his grandmother when she wants him to find love and happiness?

As for the dialogue, it was a wonderful combination of intense moments due to the main characters back stories and playful banter that had me loving the tight bond the hero shares with his family and the powerful chemistry between the hero and heroine. Really, they're so good together. Moreover, the heroine was strong and brave for giving the hero a chance, even though she's not interested in a relationship after what happened with her ex. I also liked how she fit in with the hero's family and that they were so warm and welcoming because they realize Caitlin is the real deal for Taylor, even if he doesn't realize it until it's almost too late. While the hero, I loved him so much, especially when he's around his family who are a lot of fun and aren't afraid to get a little competitive with each other. I also liked how confident the hero was and how determined he is to win the heroine over, especially in the beginning because he needs her.

Overall, Ms. Clarke has delivered a charming and absolutely riveting read in this second book of her Animal Attraction series where the chemistry between Taylor and Caitlin was intense; the romance delightful because these two don't want a relationship, and yet, they find themselves falling for each other; and the ending had me loving how determined the secondary characters were to see Taylor and Caitlin get their happy ever after. However, it was the words Taylor says to Caitlin to prove he wants a forever relationship with her that I loved the most. Then there's the epilogue that wrapped this story up perfectly because Taylor's family are wonderful and I loved that he would ask such an important question in front of them all. I would recommend Three Day Fiancee by Marissa Clarke, if you enjoy the fake relationship trope or books by authors Melanie Shawn, Melia Alexander, Tawna Fenske and Erin Nicholas.

This was a likeable read. The story started off well and I liked Caitlin and Taylor however for me a times I found myself losing interest in what they were up to and skim read some parts. It was a fairly quick read but ideal if someone is looking for a light hearted fun read.

4.5 Stars!

Three Day Fiancee by Marissa Clarke is a fun book! This engagement of convenience romance is replete with intelligent characters, sexy encounters, and a humongous canine that believes he is a lap dog at times. If you are looking for a quick-paced read with some very humorous situations, than pick up a copy of this book.

Dog-walker Caitlin Ramos is still recovering from her bad marriage when she meets Taylor Blakenship, a helicopter pilot and owner of one of her clients, a slobbering Saint Bernard. Once Caitlin passes her CPA exam, her dog walking days will be over, and she will become a full partner in the pet care shop she and her two friends founded.

Caitlin is just what Taylor needs to convince his family, most especially his grandmother, that he is happily engaged to be married. Taylor is tired of being harassed about his single status, and spending the weekend with his beloved family would be even lovelier if he had a fiancee. Once the three day weekend is over, he and Caitlin can go their separate ways, no strings attached. Naturally, this arrangement turns into much more, since they both find each other extremely attractive and likable.

I really enjoyed this story. Caitlin and Taylor had wonderful chemistry, and they lit up the pages when they were together. In addition, the secondary characters and subplots were just as entertaining as the main story-line. Taylor's grandmother and his sister were quite comical at times, and there were many moments that I was smiling from ear to ear. Overall, this is a terrific romance and I can't wait to read more from this author.

Very cute romance. First there's wicked chemistry, then a fake fiancée scheme which breeds a growing attraction and then true love. It’s cute, easy and fun with some steamy moments I can totally get behind.

Taylor and Caitlin are just fantastic and really do pull you into their story with their interactions and how they express themselves throughout the book. when dog walker caitlin ramos accidentally gets taylor blankenship's family ring stuck on her finger in front of his grandmother in three day fiancee, she finds herself roped into a family vacation in the poconos. i love a good fake relationship trope. and caitlin and taylor are perfect fake relationship turns real material.

the meet-cute here is adorable, and the fun and sweet moments of this story are just the perfect feel-good romance. there is no deep, angsty stuff here, and that's a good thing, for when you want something to read that just leaves you feeling happy.

This is the first time in reading this author with this being a nice discovery. She knows how to capture her reader with her characters as the story unfolds. Taylor and Caitlin will be the ones in this that take you through the escapades with the story that is lighthearted. Things like this also always seem to have a way of biting someone on the butt which of course happens in this. This was a all around romance that had you gladly going through it in no time at all with it leaving you satisfied.

This was such a good read! The writing grabbed me from the first chapter, and flowed well all the way through the end. The characters were developed fully, and Taylor and Caitlin were great together. They had really good chemistry, but there is only one scene where they are intimate, so if you're looking for super steamy, this isn't it. I know Caitlin had a previous bad relationship, but she held things against Taylor that he didn't do. He tried to show her over and over again, that he wasn't that kind of man. I was happy when she could finally let go of her past and let someone else in. Grams was a hoot, and she made the story that much better. Her friends were great too, they were there for her, but didn't let her run away from her problems anymore either. The ending was great, and I loved the HEA.

Fun and feel good, Three Day Fiancée is literally as it says on the tin, and with a feel not too dissimilar to the film The Proposal, is an enjoyable addition to Marissa Clarke’s Animal Attraction series.

“Nothing says I love you like a weasel.”

For their own reasons neither dog walker, Caitlin or pilot, Taylor are looking for a relationship, but when Taylor’s St. Bernard, Beau gets up to no good, he sets off a chain of events which sees them faking their engagement to Taylor’s family.

“You never win if you don’t take chances.”

Plenty of shenanigans follow as they head off to spend three days with the family and whilst I won’t deny the seasonal timing of this was a little out of sync for me—with snow and mistletoe, in parts it felt more of a festive winter read—it was an easy, enjoyable romcom with a great cast of characters who created more than a few giggles along the way. Hoping we won’t have too long a wait for Fiona’s story.

As the first book in the Animal Attraction series, Three Days Fiancée was a fun, light and sexy read I enjoyed from start to finish.

Here we follow the story of Caitlyn, dog-walker extraordinaire soon to be a CPA and Taylor, sexy hot guy/helicopter pilot.

A series of unfortunate events finds Cait stranded in Taylor’s apartment waiting for Beau, a giant fluffy pup, to pass an expensive ring he’s swallowed. Fortunately, for Cait mostly, she finds the ring stuck in the dog’s mouth and just so happens to try it on as Taylor’s busybody and matchmaking grandmother comes in. Cue in massive misunderstanding that Taylor walks in on and then decides to exploit to get his Grandmother off his case.

Now all they have to do is pretend to be happily engaged for a three-day anniversary party, and then go back to their own lives where Cait does nothing but work and study for her test and Taylor is out flying his bosses at any given time.

With a powerful and instant attraction, both Taylor and Caitlyn have to fight the pull if they dare walk away with their hearts intact… as we all know, though, things never go according to plan.

Taylor was the total package, he came off as a bit of an anti-commitment jerk at first, but he was funny and charming, a total hunk beef and sexy as all get out. He was really awesome to his dog and his family and I really liked to see him fall for Cait.

Caitlyn had a very bad experience with men in her past, which left her more than gun shy. She had a lot of walls up, but Taylor and his crazy family tore right through them. She was very standoffish, which isn’t my favorite trait in a leading lady, but she ended up being cute and fun and was capable of deep feelings. I know the “fake relationship” trope is not for everyone but I personally enjoy it very much, and Three Days Fiancée was a perfect example of why. With feelings, humor, and some seriously hot scenes, this checked all my boxes. Taylor’s family was just the frosting that made this sexy and fun cake even better.

I had such fun with Three Day Fiancee. Really. What’s not to love about a big goofy Saint Bernard who has no clue he’s not a toy poodle, hides his treasures in his floppy cheeks and steals every single scene he’s in. Yeah, Beau is very hard to resist. Add to the mix two stubborn, driven people who are actually just right for each other if they could get past that no relationship mindset. Oh, and one very wily, stubborn grandmother who knows more than she lets on. It’s the perfect storm for a really good romantic comedy romance.

You’ll get the basics from the story description blurb, and if that’s not enough to tempt you then you’ll fall in love with both Taylor and Caitlin easily. Their chemistry is off the charts from their first meeting… which is hot and chuckle worthy in itself. The fake boyfriend/fiancee/girlfriend is used a lot and it works when it’s done believably. You cannot fake attraction no matter how hard you try, at least not for long, especially under the watchful and knowing eyes of one slick grandmother. Taylor and Caitlin have their reasons for remaining single, they aren’t bad reasons but they soon fall apart when these two really get to know each other. I understood Caitlin’s reluctance, and was so glad when she finally realized that not all guys are total jerks. There are some good ones out there, and one just dropped in her lap.

If you’re in the mood for a good romance, a swoon-worthy couple, an adorable huge puppy for life, and some truly laugh out loud moments then I’d highly recommend Three Day Fiancee. And if you haven’t already read it, I’d also suggest Dear Jane which starts off this series.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

4 - "Find a way..." Stars!

The second book in Marissa Clarke’s Animal Attraction series, gives us Caitlin Ramos and Taylor Blankenship’s story, one which initially starts around her walking his dog Beau.

As sexy as he was in his uniform, she preferred him in a bath towel…

Their first meeting comes as a bit of a shock to Caitlin, seeing Taylor in nothing other than a bath towel, while he chases his beloved dog around his apartment. Turns out Beau has eaten something he shouldn’t have, something that necessitates Caitlin being on poo patrol (potentially) for the rest of the day.

"Low stakes… High reward."

The title of Three Day Fiancée pretty much gives you all the information that you need to know where this couple’s relationship heads.

How was she going to do this for three days…

I really liked the familial feel to this one though, as the bulk of the three is spent with Taylor’s family for their annual get-together. Close knit family bonds is not something Caitlin is used to, and it doesn’t take long for her to fall in love with the Blankenship’s as well as Taylor.

The more he knew about her, the happier he was that she was here… Not matter the terms.

This was a quick, easy, and pretty predictable read. The writing style was light, the drama levels low and the characters all extremely likeable. The plot moved along at a steady clip, and the giggles were plentiful as well.

"I'm glad you're here..."

It’s a good job that the books in the series can be read as standalones though, as this is an author that takes an absolute age to put a book together, and I have barely any recollection of Jane’s book, so I am not going to hold my breath on seeing Fiona’s book before 2020 hits.

If you're looking for a fun, lighthearted book with some amazing characters look no further. This book is all that and a great relaxing read. It's cute, sexy, and as a bonus it has a big overgrown pooch that steals the story! It's a fake relationship story that is filled with humor including some laugh out loud moments as Taylor tries to pull a fast one over on his Grams. He introduces her to his fake fiance Caitlin. Actually Caitlin is his dog walker and not at all interested in a relationship. Plus Mr. BossyPants Taylor is so not her type! Caitlin is certain she'll be fine spending the weekend with Taylor and his family. So where did it all go so wrong....or right??

For a light relaxing read grab a copy of this one. I highly recommend it.

Rating: 4.5/5

From the very start this fun romance had me laughing out loud. Caitlin Ramos is the only dog walker who seems able to cope with Taylor Blankenship’s boisterous St Bernard, Beau. One day as she enters his flat to collect the dog she meets Taylor for the first time - clad in a towel and chasing Beau round the room, what a sight. When Taylor’s grandmother later believes Caitlin is secretly engaged to him, Taylor convinces her to be his fake fiancée for just three days . . . . and the fun begins!

This is a hilarious story, packed with fun, games, family and laughs galore. The family dynamics and friend relationships are so important in this story. Caitlin hates being told what to do and Taylor has a habit from his military days of ordering her around - something she definitely resists! As the attraction between the two grows, the fact that he’s soon to move to work in Boston whilst she plans to work with her two friends in New York makes it unlikely this romance can succeed. Can love find a way for them or is their love doomed from the start?

If you enjoy the fake romance trope, you’ll love this superb romantic comedy. It is a cute, contemporary read with great characters, a manipulative gran and, of course, Beau! It is a delightful story to escape into and one that will definitely put a smile on your face :)

I requested and was given a copy of this novel, via NetGalley, with no obligation. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.
