As expected, RHE once again *gets* it - healthy skepticism, not being satisfied with simplistic answers, seeing through platitudes. The way INSPIRED looks at the Bible from various literary angles makes it all the richer. And I was struck by the way Bible passages meant to be read as voices of resistance and liberation have been twisted by modern evangelicals to instill fear, manipulate, and control others. Really appreciated this book.
