Podcast interview with the author, Joel Comm, about this book and other interesting topics: https://closemindedpodcast.com/episodes/episode-9-joel-comm-on-the-fun-formula-crypto-generalism-and-fighting-woke-culture/

Yes, work should be fun! And life should be fun!
A fun and inspiring read, this is also a practical book that encourages everyone to live life according to one’s own definition of success, and not comparing our life with other people’s highlight reel on social media.

Thank you Thomas Nelson and Netgalley for an ARC of this book.
This book was a great inspiration for me to help find more enjoyment in my working life. I particularly enjoyed the case stories throughout the book I would use this book to dip in and out of as a pick me up for inspiration in the future.

I had so much fun reading THE FUN FORMULA and thinking about applying its helpful concepts to my writing life. New York Times bestselling author and social media entrepreneur Joel Comm shares the secret to his biz success, which is not to put one’s nose to the grindstone but to have fun while working and in life. Just Google Joel and his photos show a truly happy guy. He walks the talk!
Comm recommends pursuing passionate interests, the things we are most curious about, and those activities that bring us the most pleasure. In doing so, we have the best chance to produce dramatic results, he says, because we are naturally engaged. He also shares lively examples from his life and that of others to inspire change in thought and routine to advance us toward lives we’ll love. Highly recommended!
Thanks to Thomas Nelson and NetGalley for the review copy. Opinions are fully mine.

This is a fun and inspirational book. The example stories are good, and the message of experimentation is very relevant. Like the title suggests, it's a fun read. I mentioned it as one of my favorite books for the year for the FIRE community: https://costaricafire.com/finance/fire-resources-i-love/

An easy read book that Is more biographical than practical. There are no instructions or formulas to follow just lots of case stories and examples to inspire you. I liked the Monkey Olympics snippet and the link to the YouTube video (I really want one of those monkeys !). A good rainy day book for when you need a bit of a boost or some gentle encouragement.
