“For hire” was an exciting and suspenseful seduction contract read. I never knew what was going to happen next with this wonderful read. You won’t want to miss the sex as sin alpha male in all his panty melting glory I can tell you, he is a perfect book boyfriend I can tell you. The heroine was so refreshing as well. This book was one heck of a lot of fun to read and had a smile on my face most of the time as I read this story. I would recommend this book to all book lovers out there
I loved this quick read! A shocking morning for Clara as her friends offered her money to "tutor" their friend Jack. First she was angry and insulted but then as they interacted she couldn't help being interested. She felt he was hot and she couldn't resist herself. He's a self starter who owns a coffee shop and had several big events in his life. They collide and sparks fly. Both sides are interested but how do they manage to find their way? You just have to read the book to see how it happens.
I loved the back and forth of both view points. A well written love story told in a honest real world sense. I highly recommend this book!
For Hire is a beautiful romance about two broken souls who find, and heal, each other. At only 200 pages it is not long, but it is a satisfying read tying up all loose ends. I was pleasantly surprised, I started this book expecting a variation of ‘Indecent Proposal’, but that part of the story was small, and actually created quite a bit of humour at the beginning, and a bit of drama at the end. The story is much more about the relationship between Jack and Cara, and the financial offer is only a very small part and acts as more of a story introduction than anything else.
I really liked this author’s writing style, it was engaging and kept you turning the pages. The characters were well developed and sensitively explored the issues surrounding Cara and Jack. The book was written from joint points of view, and the transition between Jack and Cara was seamless and at logical points. Since most of the action involved people from Jack’s life, his perspective was a significant part of the book, and it was interesting to see the story unfold from his point of view.
I thoroughly enjoyed For Hire, and I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys a satisfying contemporary romance. Other characters introduced in this first book have a lot of potential to fulfil stories of their own, and I am particularly hopeful for Logan’s story, it would be fun to watch the playboy with heart meet his match!
"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
This is my first time reading a book by L.R. Olson and I enjoyed it very much. In this story Clara receives money to seduce Jack, a much younger man than her, but it turns out he starts to seduce her and she enjoys it. She's just not sure at first because of a couple of different things. It'was a short and sweet read that I recommend to all.
Short but enjoyable read.
Clara is fairly new in a small town. Her boss makes her an offer - date his son in exchange for money, to make him realise he has a life outside work and college. She is reluctant but when she meets him she can't deny the attraction. He makes a play for her and she can't resist, but then things get complicated when he finds out about the money.
