If a book was a garden, Barbara Taylor Sissel would be the master gardener. In The Ninth Step, Livie Saunders knows all about the meanings of flowers and teaches it to her fiance who later disappears without a trace. Alone and with no knowledge of what happened to her beloved. Later, when he shows up six years later, it isn't the happen reunion she might hope for.

The story builds in momentum, pushing readers to the end. With likeable characters and a need for redemption, readers are likely to enjoy this fast-paced read.

The Ninth Step is filled with emotions—love, heartache, betrayal, guilt, friendship, atonement, forgiveness—so many emotions. And all of these emotions are what make this such a wonderful story. The reader feels all of these emotions, right along with the wonderful characters that Barbara has created.

When I reached the satisfying conclusion, I knew I would be reading more of this author's books. I loved it and I'm excited to see what else she has written.

Never downloaded this book. I never even have heard of the author or this book. Do not know how my name got connected to it. Thank-you.
