I really loved the first part but I struggled with this one. I hardly ever take books that have cliffhangers solely because I read too many books and by the time the other one comes out I have forgotten some details. This is what happened here. I was confused with who was who and doing what. When I read the first book I didn’t know it was a cliffhanger and paranormal too. I never read paranormals. After reading Blood Type, I was impressed so that’s why I took the other one and realized there are 3 books.
It’s not the authors fault. Her story seemed like a great one but just not for me.

I devour Blood Match, this series is so addictive.I loved it, it was brilliant from the beginning till the end!
Blood Match started a little bit slow but this shouldn't worry you because once things pick up you'll not want to finish this book!!It was a fantastic read, like the first book and I'm aching to see what will happen in the next book!
If you like paranormal romances, this is a must read!K.A. Linde did an amazing job and I wish that we will have more books like this from her!!

K A Linde shows you no mercy in this book. Not one tiny little red blood cell of mercy. She tortures you, just like she tortures Reyna. She tosses you in lock-up, throws away the key, and mocks you from the other side of the door.
And you know what? YOU WILL LOVE IT.
This book picks up several weeks after Blood Type ends, and you immediately know what happened to Reyna. (Linde keeps you guessing about Beckham because OF COURSE SHE DOES.) She also plunges you into the central conflict of this series: Elle, a group of feisty and fierce insurgents, vs. Visage, the evil vampire empire. What is Visage's end game? Who are the people behind Elle? And who is on whose side?
At the same time, K A Linde stokes the romance between Reyna and her Becks. This, too, is beset by outside influences, namely Penelope, the mayor's daughter and Beckham's erstwhile girlfriend. No one is happy or content in this book. There are moments of levity, but K A Linde never lets you forget the dystopian nature of the world her characters inhabit.
You can't have a book with a character like Beckham and not have the sexy times. K A Linde does not disappoint in the least where the hot headboard rocking is concerned. She delivers the quiver in a way that will have you begging for release.
About the ending. This is the second book of a trilogy, and second books of trilogies typically are dark. Let's just say that KA Linde understands that dictum and does not deviate from it. The ending is horrible in a "NOOOOO!" kind of way. You will find yourself wondering how you're supposed to survive until the third book comes out in August.

Holy crap, this book was so good, emotionally tore you heart out and left you NEEDING more! I need book 3 NOW!

I've been anxiously awaiting the release of this book because Blood Type had me like, WHOA! And this book was seriously epic!! I couldn't put it down and consumed it as fast as I could! Yes, I realize that's a lot of exclamations, but that's how seriously good this book is. I was immersed back in Reyna's life and I was holding my breath, waiting to see what would happen next for her. I loved the way this story flowed and the story was exposed. There were twists I didn't see coming and K.A. Linde had me on the edge of my seat. There was no way for me to put this book down. This was an all-consuming read and I couldn't devour it fast enough! I loved the pull and the chemistry between Beckham and Reyna. Reyna's world may have been changing in a way that she wasn't expecting, but I liked the people she had around her (mostly), and was invested in all the things that were going on around her. I feel like I'm being so vague here, but I truly don't want to ruin this story for you. Just know this was a top read of 2018 for me and I HIGHLY suggest this book. You need to read Blood Type before you read this book though.

Holy Smokes! This second instalment into the Blood Type series blew me away!
It’s originality and premise are one of a kind.
In Blood Match, the feud between Elle and Visage heats up and it comes to an unforeseeable climax!
Reyna and her counterparts at Elle are desperately trying to bring down Harrington and Visage. It is a game of chess. For every decision, there is a consequence. No one is willing to put the queen in jeopardy.
Along the way, secrets are revealed, loyalties are tested and mayhem abounds.
Will Reyna and her friends defeat Harrington or, will Harrington destroy everything and everyone she loves?
KA Linde really knows how to write an intriguing story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Reyna was a strong heroine and her character grew and changed with every chapter. She is no longer the naïve girl she once was but she is still as caring and loving as ever.
Beckham, my dear Beckham. I absolutely love him! Dark, brooding, tortured yet so full of love and compassion. He finally shares his past, but, his past has no intention of staying there!
This was an incredible read full of action, intrigue and love. It is my favorite PNR romance so far this year!!

First of all, Blood Match is the second installment in the Blood Type Series and you need to have read Blood Type first. Blood Match picks up right where Blood Type left off so you will be lost.
It's going to be hard to write this review without giving away any spoilers but I'll try my best. In Blood Match, Reyna and Beckham's love is tested even more. There are a lot of secrets in their world that they are both trying to uncover. They are pulled apart and pushed back together, really testing the special bond that we all know that they have.
Blood Match and this series is so addictive that once you start reading, you can't put it down. I was wrapped into their world and didn't want to get out. I'm so happy that Linde has created this wonderful paranormal world that keeps me begging for more. And holy cliffhangers. I'm DYING for the next one. Full on grabby hands, begging for the next book to be in my hands NOW.
If you like paranormal romances, then you need to try this series out. It's a bit of a different spin on paranormal that speaks to the geek in me as well. Seriously, give it a go!

Blood Match is book two in the highly anticipated Blood Type Trilogy and Ms. Linde starts us right where Blood Type left us with our jaws on the floor screaming NO!!!
I’m going to write this review a bit different then my usual.
0%- I hope that there’s a beautiful reunion, all the hearts and flowers. Becks and Rey slaughter the upper management at Visage.
25% - I have to say that Blood Match started a bit slow for me. I kept waiting for Becks to save Rey, for this big reunion full of dedications of love. Instead we are given a$$hole Becks but don’t worry that is short lived.
50%- This is getting good. I love Becks. They got this sh*! down. Visage is going down!!! #Burn
75%- Well this isn’t good… nope that’s not going to work… and for the love of god don’t piss off that woman!!!
100%- Yep, I was right you shouldn’t have done that or that and Becks you meant well but... OMG, WHAT!! NO!! I didn’t see that coming… Patiently or not so patiently waits for Blood Cure.!

K.A. Linde is blowing me away with this series; like I can't even describe the amount of wtf I have right now. She created this world so vividly and you can't help but fall into it once you start reading.
"Oh Little One, how do you still have such a heart?"
Book one, Blood Type, left us all in an uproar. I was left speechless and stir-crazy at the abrupt ending and I knew that when this book was made available I would devour it like I had done the previous one. Let me tell you....I wasn't wrong. Linde grabbed my heart, shook it up threw it in my face! We left Reyna at the end of Blood Type captured by Harrington to be his own personal "blood bag." The situation seems hopeless and every early on Reyna doesn't know whether to give up and give in to the madness or keep fighting. It's an endless cycle of needles, isolation, and fear.
Without giving away any spoilers, there are some major revelations in this book and we see characters who we thought we knew were on certain sides show us another aspect of themselves. The plot is fast-paced and full of twists and turns while the characters remain so very well written.
Reyna's character evolves into something more than what she was in a way that only her circumstances could have made her. She's jaded, but at times we still see that hopeful young girl we first met. Her relationship with Beckham is so intense; Linde gives us this palpable love, lust, and friendship between the two in such a magnificent way. I loved watching them together and believe me...they have some revelations of their own.
Overall, this book was great. If you loved the first one then you'll fall in love all over again in Blood Match. Just be prepared, the ending is just as abrupt, or even more so, than it was in Blood Type. You'll definitely be left wanting more and screaming your lungs out.

KA Linde is killing me with this series. KILLING ME! The 'Blood Type' series is so addictive and consuming. I can't get enough! I thought the first book ended on a cliffhanger... well, I hadn't seen anything yet! The ending of this one... gah! I die. Thank goodness the wait between these books aren't long!
Reyna Carpenter was not in a good place when we last saw her. Life was not turning out how she planned and she was in real danger. This story took off right where the last left off. My heart was beating so fast and I was so anxious for how things would turn out for Reyna. Just as I thought things were calming down, BAM. Something else happened that shocked me.
Reyna and Becks. I love them together. Seriously, I can't imagine a world where these two don't end up together. They're meant to be. Their connection is more than just sexual, they are a true match in every sense. You can feel it. I don't know where the next book will go, but I have to have faith things will work out.
This has to be one of the best paranormal romance series I've ever read. They've captivated me from the start and always leave me wanting more. Kyla has done an amazing job with the characters, story line, and of course- the angst! I highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys PNR!!!

There are so many reasons why i keep coming back to K.A. Linde's books - at first it was because of her Wright Brothers series and then when she wrote the Wright sister story that tore my heart into so many pieces that i wasn't sure just how she'd manage to put it back together. But put it back together she did. Then she came out with her Vampire series - the Blood series that have kept me awake more nights than i'd care to admit.
This series is everything that i love about paranormal romances. It's entertaining. It's new. It's a story that kept me at the edge of my seat. But most of all, it also had me coming back more than once, forgoing on sleep when i knew i desperately needed it. It also had suspenseful aspects that kept me guessing more than once on what would happen next.
I wish i could say you can just pick this book up and go on your merry way - but regretfully, i have to inform others that you have to read the previous book just so that you can understand what makes Reyna so special and wanted by more than one vampire. By reading the first book, you get to really understand why Beckham and Reyna are so drawn to one another, how they manage to make each other better. But most of all, you get a full picture of them as a couple.
There's just something about this series that keeps me coming back for more. It's unlike any of the previous vampire themed novels i've read (and i've read more than i can count), and it gives you just enough twists to make your jaw slack in surprise. i loved this book, i love the series so far, and i can't wait to find out just what'll happen in the next instalment because this series is that fascinating.

I am completely gutted with one hell of a book hangover.
Vampire books are slowly becoming my favorite type of books. This book had the perfect mix of scaring me out of my wits to a beautiful love story between a vampire and his human.
But let me just say I didn't even think that the book would end the way it did

I so need the next book now! K.A. Linde has killed me with this series already and I am dying to see what will happen next and where she will take us with this storyline. I am so in love with this world she has created. I am intrigued and hanging on the edge of my seat through the entire story. The twists and turns have definitely left me needing more. Even if PNR is not your first choice, you so need to read this series. It still has that angst that you come to expect from K.A. Linde and I have found myself completely involved in these characters' stories.

wow what a great second book!
I love reyna and Beckham so much and just need more of them like now!
this is the second book in a series.
I'm ready to devour book 3 right now!

AHHH!! Blood Match was incredible!!!
After reading Blood Type, I was so excited to pick up Blood Match. As soon as this book landed on my kindle, I picked it up asap. Again, if you know me, you know that I don't generally read vampire romances, however, this book, is so freaking good!! It is so sexy and suspenseful that your heart is constantly beating out of control.
Reyna and Beckham are two characters who are each so different, yet find a way to be absolutely perfect for one another. Their "relationship" just works so well. Yes, they have their issues and problems to overcome, yet, that makes the book so much more intriguing.
I cannot wait to see how their story ends in Blood Cure.
5/5 Stars!

We left Reyna in Blood Match in a bit of a predicament now we find her, in her words, as a blood bag to the most powerful vampire in the world—William Harrington.
The story continues and there are revelations, big revelations and omg the underhand goings on! And sexy times. Omg they were so hot I nearly combusted!
But still there was that tight feeling in my stomach. 'Oh Little One, how do you still have such a heart?' Totally what I was thinking Becks. I mean I know it's for the greater good but it drove me mad! But sometimes you have to put align yourself with fate....
This aside, I did like it. The idea around this trilogy is unique and I love that. The writing is flawless and it flowed so well.....and that ending! I need the next one!

3.5 Stars
I think this book may have suffered a bit of Book Two in a Series syndrome. The last 25%-30% is what saved this one for me.
I know that the second book in a ongoing series are usually more geared to that final showdown and I truly felt that in this one. This book seemed to be more informative than action, like it was putting all the pieces in order before the puzzle could be solved. I get the reasons for it but when those things happen I tend to find myself a bit bored.
I will say that it was a relief to see Reyna safe and back with the people she belonged with. Her fight is admirable and seeing her wanting to be in the middle of that battle instead of cowering was awe-inspiring. I love when a personal vendetta is not only that but something for the greater good. Although she is still a bit compulsive in this one and makes some questionable decisions she is still a great character and I can't wait to see what happens with her next.
There were elements of this part of the story that annoyed me a bit even though I knew the facades the characters had to uphold were necessary. These did get better as the story unfolded so by the end I found myself endeared vs annoyed.
After that ending I can only hope the third book comes quickly. It was not what I expected at all and I need resolution like stat!!

Kyla has done it yet again she has left me both breathless and speechless this book is Everything BECKS that man is everything he will take your breathe away thst ending omg I need the next one !!

Gah. This series slays me! As an introduction to K.A Linde's writing, it couldn't get any better! Blood Type continues to be a suspenseful ride that has me turning pages as fast as possible.
Blood Type ended on the mother of all cliff hangers and Blood Match picks up almost straight away. Reyna is still being kept captive by Mr Harrington and living a boring and repetitive existence. 8 long weeks of donating blood, running on treadmills and staring at the wall. Her fear of needles and hospitals is getting worse with every IV that's inserted and her hope for freedom is slowly dying.
She’s left with questions, what’s happening with her blood? Will she ever escape? And more importantly where’s Becks?
Blood Type was an introduction into the world of Reyna and Beckham and Blood Match continues on that path with great character development and even better plot development. With Blood Match you learn more about the history of how the world has ended up being run by Vampires and how Beckham and Reyna tie in to the history of what happened and the future of what could happen.
Reyna's character development was so well written in Blood Match. After the events of Blood Type and what occurs while being held by Mr Harrington I thought her actions and character development were so true to how someone in her situation would be acting.
I say this about a lot of books but Blood Match is best when you go in blind. The blurb gives absolutely nothing away about the story within these pages. And every page keeps you captivated and has you reeling from events that occur. The angst is non stop!
I'm suffering from the mother of book hangover's and am literally counting the seconds till Blood Cure hits my kindle!
