Royal Mess

Royal Mess captured my attention on the first page and I couldn't stop reading. The Polar Prince, Leo and Tessa made for one heck of a couple.

The unique storyline, coupled with the Royal/Commoner theme made for an exciting and fun read. Tessa and Leo had great chemistry. Tessa was a determined woman, who was. whirlwind to Leo. They complimented each other well. Royal Mess is great read, and the underlying focus on the importance of organ donation was a unique aspect I really appreciated.

Royal Catch

Cassie and Marco have an interesting ride to their relationship in Royal Catch. Marco is a playboy Prince, and Cassie has her doubts. After they spend a night together, Marco is even more determined to prove he means what he is saying. Cassie was an interesting character, she was protective of herself, but Marco really stole the show while proving himself. I really enjoyed the chemistry and storyline in Royal Catch.

Overall, both Novellas are cute quick reads. They can be read on their own or back to back. I would recommend to the royal romance reader looking for a fast, safe read.

I adore the royalty troupe but hate novellas. Royal Mess is two novellas, Royal Match and Royal Catch, featuring the royal brothers, Leo and Marco, princes of Alsania. Leo meets Tessa when he donates part of his liver to her, thereby saving her life. Cassie is Tessa's sister, so she and Marco see each other frequently when Cassie is with Tessa.

My first introduction to this author was in Barreled Over, which I loved, so I had to have a look at what she did with the royalty trope. I loved both princes' stories, but Leo and Tessa's story was near and dear to my heart. Or actually my kidney. Having lived all of my adult life with one less kidney than God gave me, I realized the importance of organ donation and signed up to be a donor soon after my kidney and I parted ways. I’m always more appreciative when steamy, heartfelt romance also has a message, and this is a vital message. As the author says in her note after the story, “Souls go to heaven. Organs do not,” so if someone else can benefit from parts I no longer need, I’m all for it. I'm trying really hard not to be pushy, but it’s so easy to become a donor, and a great feeling knowing it may save lives.

That aside, I loved both of these stories. The thing I loved about Leo and Tessa's story was that Leo got to be himself with Tessa, and that’s who she fell in love with. Not the prince or the public figure, but the man. And who doesn’t love a bad boy's redemption story? Marco is a player of royal proportions, and it took over a year and some extraordinary circumstances for Cassie to see that she was the only girl he wanted. These stories both have a little humor, a lot of heat and a ton of heart, and are sure to please even the most aristocratic tastes.

This book has two romances – two prince brothers; opposites of each other; finding their way to the journey to HEA!!

I rarely read royal romances or even any famous romances (bar some!); mostly because it feels as if the balance of power always seems to be in favour of one in the relationship – yet I devoured this beauty within hours of starting it!

Two couples – both seeming to edify the phrase “opposites attract” yet both had very different journey’s to HEA!

Prince Leo is the Ice Prince who meets Tessa when he decides to donate a part of his liver in hopes of actually trying to get better ratings, for he is the heir apparent and he needs the public on his side.

Playboy Prince Marco is the fun prince and the one who ends up in almost all the scandals; even a nakey nakey one *winks* - but when he meets Cassie; its when he realises that there is something to be said about the journey of love.

Both the books were of novella length; even then they didn’t feel unfinished – yet there was something adorable about these romances; especially considering that both of them could have been quite similar to each other; but the author did a wonderful job of actually making sure that these two romances were as different as they could be  - which is the main reason for my rating of the book!

The Royal Mess book set is a nice read. I enjoyed both stories in this set. They are short reads with good characters.

Royal Match with Leo and Tessa is good at introducing you to both families. I can see why some think Leo comes off as icy or cold. Tessa does bring out the best of Leo. I really enjoyed Tessa's character. She's strong, determined, and caring. Leo's meddling family did not help their new relationship.

Royal Catch is an interesting read. I didn't put the book down when I was reading this story. The characters did drive me nuts with how much they were in denial about how much they liked each other. I was expecting more drama when the truth got revealed. Overall, the story was good.

I received this story as an Advance Reader's Copy, although it did take me awhile to get to this story. I volunteered to leave my review.

This book is a broken down into two stories about Princes Leo and Marco. Leo is the firstborn and always the serious one, he need to do something nice so that his approval rating goes up....so donating part of his liver to a commoner sounds good right?
This book starts off with Tess in the hospital needing a liver transplant and Prince Leo being a O negative match. It goes on to how these two fall in love and the reader can't help but root for them. The second book is about playboy Marco and Tess's sister Cassie. Marco secretly loves Cassie and one night he has sex with a masked stranger at a masquerade ball resulting in a pregnancy. I loved, loved these stories. I can't wait to read move from this author. Excellent romance with a splash or fairy tale.

This was my first book by Jenna Sutton and I was a fan. I was surprised that we got two books in one with this. I'd totally take a Marco and Leo for myself after reading.

Who hasn't dreamed about marring into royalty? Everyone but our heroine.

I really like how she was very down to earth and practical about her life. She didn't just forget her responsibilities because she met a guy.

Really enjoyed it

I read this a while back and it kind of slipped through the cracks of my NG reading list. I had to peruse it again and when I did., I realized I actually liked it, not love mind you. It was a typical HEA with a little angst. I do like the author’s style though. Will definitely read more books by her.

Royal Match-
So cute! I love a good royal/commoner story and this one was great. It mixed fun, serious, and love in a nice package. Quick, easy read with a Happily Ever After! 5 stars for Royal Match

Royal Catch- Woah, didn’t like this one at all! The whole sex with a “stranger” thing right off the bat. Then a pregnancy. I stopped this one and don’t plan on picking it back up. Two thumbs down.

Royal Mess consists of two novella length (read in one sitting) royal romance stories about two sisters how fall for royal princes.

I really enjoyed Leo and Tessa's love story. The premise was unique - how can you not love the person who saved your life and the characters were endearing (I loved how dedicated Leo was to his heritage, how Tessa was very real).

I love royal romances where the main character falls in love with an ordinary person and to see their struggles, of Leo struggling with whether a woman can see beyond his title to the real person, and of Tessa learning how to deal with life in the spotlight. I was rooting for them all the way and was delighted to see that the novella ended with an epilogue that gave us a view into their happily ever after.

I could not get into book two. I liked what I saw of Cassie in her sister's book but I did not like the premise. Having sex with a masked stranger and getting pregnant is not romantic. That's all I'm going to say about that. Let's just think about Tessa and Leo and how much I liked them.

I'll definitely be on the lookout for future releases by Jenna Sutton.

Jenna Sutton's Royal Mess was fantastic! It was a quick read that was witty and hilarious, while also covering the important topic of organ donation.

I wound falling in love with both of the stories in this one.

And I mean, how could I not with 2 dreamy princes? haha

But I loved that both of these stories were sweet and to the point. No cliffhangers or craziness. Just pure HEA and fun shenanigans.
They gave me a little of that bad boy trope, some of that unrequited love, and a whole lot of romance.

This one just one of those books I got completely caught up in, and didn't want to do anything more then curl up in bed, and devour it.

A total 5 star read for sure

This is a two love story in a book and it is finding love for two royal brothers among two ordinary sisters. Both stories have a witty fun side and have some hot sexy times wrapped in a well-written story. I loved Leo and Tessa story it is a unique wonderful read. It is great to read how the Ice prince meets fire and they both find happiness. The second story is about Marco and Cassie finding their happy ending. I loved the bumblebee and wolf story. But in this I didn't enjoy so much it was interesting in the beginning but dull because they quickly confess their love toward eachother and not a lot interesting happens afterword.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

A Royal Mess features two novellas about two men of royalty. The novellas are completely unbelievable but thoroughly enjoyable. Leo and Tessa's story featuring organ donation is the preferred story of the two. The two characters were well developed. While there were no big surprises in the novella, it was gripping.

Sexy, seductive romance. Sutton has written relatable characters in believable situations. Readers will enjoy the quick read.

I received a copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Royal mess is split into two short stories Royal Match and Royal Catch. Royal Match tells the story of Prince Leo who to gain public favour joins the organ donation register. Expecting to donate his organs at the time of his death he is shocked when a member of the public florist Tessa needs a section of his liver. He becomes a living donor and feels an immediate attraction to Tessa. This relationship evolves and the 2 of them marry resulting in a HEA.

In the second story Royal catch Prince Marco, who was described in the first book as the playboy prince has turned over a new leaf due to the feelings he has for Cassie his sister in law. Cassie also has feelings for Marco but refuses to fall for his charms due to his reputation. One night at a masked ball the 2 end up together oblivious to the others identity. Cassie falls pregnant however doesn’t disclose the circumstances and Marco believes he has lost his chance with the woman he loves. The 2 embark on a journey which although ends in a HEA has a number of stumbling blocks before getting there.

From the outset I was engrossed in these stories however if I had to choose I would say royal catch was my favourite as I love the taming of a bad boy! Leo was too serious for my liking. I loved the platform that the first book gives to the important subject of organ donation. I hadn’t read anything by Jenna Sutton previously however I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others especially those interested in books about royal families.

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this duet of novellas.

I am a total sucker for royalty romance novels and Royal mess were two fun reads! The first story is Tessa and leo’s story. I thought the best part was the fact that it highlighted the very important topic of organ donation while being a an engrossing romance! The second story is Cassie and marco’s story. This was also a fun read with many twists and turns. Both of the books also did a good job of highlighting the difficulties of being in the public eye and the expectations of being a royal. My only criticism is I wish the books were longer! I would have liked more of both of these couples!
