I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.

International Guy is a new series by Author Audrey Carlan.  It features Parker Ellis who owns a company titled International Guy.  They offer a service of helping women catch their ideal man.  This series is like a cross between Carlan's Calendar Girl and Rachel Van Dyken's Wingman, Inc series.

I enjoyed reading this set of stories.  Seeing Parker in his element and learning more about the women who've hired him and his two friends to help teach them what's needed to land their man. He becomes invested in Paris with their first client.  Not "in love" vested but close friends vested.  It's when he gets home to NY that he will be tripped up to fall for a client - his favorite actress.  Then he jets off to Copenhagen to help a Danish Princess. There's still a tug to NYC though...which should be interesting to see how this works out as Parker travels the world helping women find love!

If you like to learn about new places; hear a mans opinion about what a woman should do in their dating life, and see if Parker will ever fall in love - this series is for you!

International Guy is another great book by Audrey Carlan. If you loved her Calendar Girl series, you will love these books. It is easy to love Parker, Royce and Bo and their ability to solve “unique problems”. This was a great start to the series and now I’m counting the days until the next book is released. Great summer read!

International Guy is another great book by Audrey Carlan! She keeps readers turning the page like her Calendar series with the 3 guys running the International Guy business which helping women with self- esteem, money issues- whatever they need. Parker, Bo and Royce are the guys!

Volume One has 3 books:
Paris- where the guys help Sophie with taking over her dad's company!
New York- where the guys help Skylar- who has lost herself amongst Hollywood fame
Copenhagen- where the guys help Princess Christina with sadness and tragedy

They are all interconnected stories. Can't wait for the next addition of the worldwide adventure!

After failing to read it straight through, I skimmed around this book, which is really the first three novellas in a serial, and I'm sorry, but it's a no from me.
I read some of Carlan's Calendar Girl books because they were over the top and sexy. I had some issues with the way sex work was portrayed and with the hero, but overall it was a good enough series that I was willing to give International Guy a shot.

In the first ten pages of the book, though, you could win douchebro bingo. I hated the main character. He's the stereotypical dude who thinks he's God's gift to women and he and his two buddies have started a business to LITERALLY FIX WOMEN. I was hoping they'd get their egos shot a bit, but no.
"I never minded helping out, especially since he'd knock me a bit of spending money that I'd blow on one skirt or another."
"'Too bad you wasted all that time. I banged Melissa within the first two weeks of class. Had her as one of my top five repeats all sophomore year.'
Bo's gaze slashes to mine. 'Shit! That's why she never let me in there? Girl was one of the only women to ever seem disinterested. Hurt my confidence.'"

These three men, who are supposed to be helping women, are shitty to women. I don't like being in their heads, reading about them, etc. Carlan tells us over and over how they understand women and how hot they are and mostly I wanted to slap them.
This review is based on an advanced copy I received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Full disclosure - I quite obviously didn't finish the book/three books.

These were my first Audrey Carlan books and I really did enjoy each story. These first three stories seemed to focus mainly on Parker Ellis although Bo and Royce make appearances and definitely add to the stories. Each story is based in a different city with the International Guy company doing what they must in order to help each "client" get to where they need to be. Sophie needs to learn how to run a large company in the wake of her father's death; Skyler needs to find her muse and Princess Christina needs to be "reigned in" (pun intended). While the stories may seem to the layman to be surface, steamy stories, each has a more in depth underlying theme that I believe we can all pull lessons from. ARC received through NetGalley for an honest review.

"Part of life is taking the hits and learning how to live with the scars left behind."

WOW!! I. LOVE. INTERNATIONAL. GUY! The author is starting this series out with a BANG! All of the first three installments all excellent reads! I was hanging on every word, and totally hooked on every single character! Each book had a uniquely different plot but was able to still link itself together. Parker, Bo, and Royce are seriously the perfect trio! I won't lie and say I haven't already picked my favorite of the guys because I totally have. I can't wait to see more action from Bo and Royce, I have the feeling my favorite could easily change. Each guy has a addicting personality, and over the top banter. And well their skills are definitely impressive and unique. Who would have thought the jobs dream maker, money maker and love maker would be so intriguing. It's jobs I wouldn't have thought of but definitely work well together. I also can't wait to get to know Wendy better. They could not have picked a more fitting assistant. She is a spit fire that immediately fit right in with the guys! I LOVE each book is in a different place. The traveling the guys do definitely makes the books that much more interesting and fun. This series is one journey I absolutely can NOT wait to take! The next installment is not getting here fast enough! If I had one thing I'm on the fence over is I hope Parker isn't rushing into things with a certain heroine because honestly I am really loving his no obligation free spirit. I would hate to see his relationship with a character over shadow his choices in the future stories to come.

“You are golden, baby. Look at you. Spread out before me like the rarest treasure. Time to show you what you’re worth.”

Paris
Sophie is still my favorite heroine so far! Something about her just hooked me from the start! Her character was easy to relate too, and extremely laid back! I loved her accent and knack for mixing up her words. I loved she was confident enough to show her insecurities, but was determined enough to face them head on. Sophies character truly did blossom and grow under International Guys care. Her development was no easy task but she never wavered and remained strong. Parker and Sophie was seriously hot together. Their chemistry definitely kept things interesting. I am happy Parker and her ended on such good terms as friends that we will hopefully be seeing more of her character throughout the story!

“Skyler isn’t glitz and glam. She’s peaches and cream. Hot apple pie on a cool, breezy day. Jeans and a tank . Baseball and hotdogs. What she is not is limos and red carpets, fashion and gems. It’s not her ; nor does she want that to be her.”

New York
Skyler was one heroine I wasn't sure how to take at first. She came across a bit diva in the expert before her story. However I was excited for her story as much as Parker talked about her during the first book. I quickly warmed up to her character once we really got to know the true Skyler Paige. What I once took for diva was actually just fear and insecurities. She had lost her way and you couldn't help but feel sad for for her situation. I LOVED watching her discover the women that lost her shine behind the sparkle of Hollywood. Skyler definitely took you on a wild ride to find not only her muse, but herself. HOLY CHEMISTRY! Parker and Skyler held nothing back in that department. They definitely kept your kindle pages HOT! I am on pins and needles wondering where these two will take us next!

"I don’t want average, Mr. Ellis. I want extraordinary, and my Christina is that. Extraordinary."

Copenhagen
Princess Christina was the most head strong heroine yet! Parker had his work cut out for him taming this Princess! She was NOT going to make his job easy, and Parker had a lot of pieces to find before solving the overall puzzle that is Christina. I seriously LOVED everything about her character! She was a total spit fire, who was lost under the pressure of the monarchy. My heart hurt for her so many times during her story. Loss and pain definitely swirled around these characters. I'm not going to lie, I needed my Kleenex a few times. Out of all the stories thus far I think she needed International Guy most. Christina's path to discovery was by no means easy. It was a lot of walls being broken, and fears being over come. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON SVEN! *SWOONS*

*5 STARS*
Well earned to the author for a absolutely explosive start to the International Guy series. It is going to be a adventurously wild ride of places, stories, and characters and well I am buckled in for the ride!

This is the first time I am reading this author and I fell in love with the authors writing style and the cleaver way the story is written. It’s three stories but all interconnected. The author has done a fabulous job with all aspects of this story from plot to the characters. The characters have depth and felt more natural than fictional. I am excited to have discovered a new talented author and can’t wait to read more books by Audrey . Her writing style is so witty and engaging. Honestly I felt like I was watching a show. It was highly entertaining and fun. The nicknames were so fitting for the three friends . Audrey has found a new fan . Highly recommend this book to everyone one of the best summer reads . I would like to thank the publishers and Netgallery for the advance copy of this book and for introducing me to a hidden gem like Audrey.

International Guys, Volume One takes us on a journey to Paris, New York and Copenhagen with Parker, Royce and Bo. These three men really know how to get the the heart of their clients issues!

Paris is the journey of Sophie who has just inherited her family company and needs a little help from IG. Each man steps up to the plate to give Sophie the confidence boost she needs all the while Parker tries to keep in mind that she’s a client and tries to avoid slipping into her bed ;)

New York is actress Skyler who is in desperate need of Parker’s help and he desperately needs to stay away from her as she’s his all time celebrity crush. While building her self esteem, it sure does feel like Parker’s building a relationship as well!

Copenhagen is Parker’s chance to help Princess Christina come to terms with exactly why she doesn’t want to marry the love of her life and why she’s throwing herself to the media. The wild child needs to be tamed and Parker’s the man for the job.

This is the first time I’ve read Audrey Carlan and I absolutely loved these books! Each story was short and sweet, there was backstory to Parker’s life prior to IG, how he met Royce and Bo and most importantly, what woman did him wrong. I loved the banter, the friendship and family, and definitely the smoking hot sex scenes! I also enjoyed how the author threw in a few other authors into the storyline ;) Most importantly, I loved how each story was about building these women up, giving them back their lives and teaching them the self confidence to keep on moving through this crazy thing we call life!

Parker, Bo and Royce start International Guy Inc after college. The 3 friends create a company that caters to wealthy woman around the world. Parker is the Dream Maker and he has a knack for reading woman and figuring out what is really going on in their mind. Bo is the Love Maker and style guru. Royce is the Money Maker and numbers cruncher. The 3 men will tackle any job as long as it is legal and just might possibly end up between the sheets with a client or two. This is the first 3 Novellas in the series. Three separate stories but some of the characters besides the boys do cross over.

I love the author's writing style. Audrey grabs you from the beginning and keeps you wanting to read right up to the last page. She throws in a few cliffhangers to keep the reader wanting more. Love that the problem solving is often more about empowering the woman, making her feel beautiful and strong. The boys may be playboys but they are all about treating women right. If you are looking for a fun, sexy read I recommend this series. Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for sharing this book in exchange for my honest review.

Author of the Calendar Girl series Audrey Carlan has stepped up her game in this new volume of stories.

The guys of International Guy, Inc are a Jack of all traits and helping women of power in extraordinary problems get through them.

We meet Parker, Royce, and Bo when they head to Paris to help Sophie the heiress to a perfume company. After her father's unexpected death she has not had the chance to experience how to run the company. With the help of International Guy, Inc, Sophie steps out of her shy existence and becomes a powerhouse.

Sophie is so happy with her experience from International Guy, Inc that she refers them to the agent of the most successful actress in the acting world to date. However, this actress has lost her ability to do the one thing she loves. Act.

Parker has to get to the root of her problem to help her get to the thing she loves doing most in the world. But, there is something about Skyler that Parker is attracted to outside of her fame. He has had a crush on her prior to their meeting but the connection is even more intense as he helps here through her dilemma.

After getting Skylar on track he is immediately sent to Copenhagen to help an out of character princess who has started to party and give bad press. Her mother wants her stand at the side of the next soon to be King of Denmark. But Christina is determined that the job is not hers.

While trying to reign in Princess Christina his mind and heart are still with Skylar back in New York. But, he puts that aside to find out the reason why the love between Prince Sven and Princess Christina have her running and her pushing Sven toward her own sister.

3 hot guys moving from city to city giving women confidence making them feel powerful in their own skin and reaching their full potential..... Parker, Bogart and Royce formed The International Guy right out of college never realising how successful it would be become and now their services are requested at all points of the world. Each guy has a very different talent wether it be showing a girl how to dress as a powerful woman or teaching a woman to read a spreadsheet they know it all but what also makes these guys so successful is their friendship, loyalty and understanding of each other strong points as well as sharing every conversation and experience they have with each other.....
I loved the friendships these guys formed with not only each other but also with some of their clients especially Parker and Sophie who we meet in book 1 Paris. Each guy may start out not looking for anything further than a one night stand but each will meet their match and along the way we get some great banter. This book is very different to any book I have ever read and for me that says a lot for how talented Audrey Carlin is, to come up with a story that’s not been done before in this day and age is hard. I loved it and can’t wait for more.

With a nod to her Calendar Girl series, Audrey Carlan kicks off her new series introducing us to "Dream Maker" Parker Ellis, and the dynamic trio at International Guy. Parker, Royce and Bogart promise to love, honor...err, no. These three are professional ladies men and their charter " No request is too demanding or too strange. As long as it’s not illegal . . . we’re in." leaves a lot of room for all sorts of mayhem. It's a wide open world and Internal Guys must travel.

Volume One opens with Parker visiting Paris and meeting Sophie Rolland. This chapter of the story sets the stage and what we should expect from Parker as he focuses on "Getting to the heart of what a woman truly wants is my job.". He is man who knows how to create a connection. Sophie needs help with learning to run her family business and Parker finds Sophie in his arms pretty darn quickly. Turns out what Sophie needs is something Parker knows how to bring out in a women, confidence. There are many suave ways to build that up. The story unfolds as a fast pace and while I just didn't feel it with Sophie, New York held a lot of promise.

Finding himself stateside Parker is hired to help actress Skyler Lumpkin with her desire to remain an actress. By now we've got a good picture of who Parker is, and Sky can definitely use his brand of help. While Paris was a 4 star read for me, NYC was shaping to be a 5. These two made my heart go pitter-patter and left me with a goofy grin on my face. I loved the steps Parker took with Sky. He reaches into her soul and shows her a new side of herself. He makes her see the joy in life and forges a bond with her. Carlan gifts us with Skylers viewpoint hinting that this bond runs deep and perhaps long.

At this point in Volume One I am completely bought in. I love the International Guys set up, the office and their backstory. We're getting to know all three of them and I adore their new hire Wendy and her mysterious beau. I'm ready to see what challenge Copenhagen brings.

Parker lands in Denmark and meets with Princess Mary, a mother looking out for her daughters best interest. Princess Christina's story is wonderful, and as Parker's involvement plays out we learn about tragedy, hopelessness and self destruction. Using all his resources and against her wishes, Parker cuts to the chase to help Christina find her way. This was a sweet and endearing as Crown Prince Sven bares his soul to the woman he loves.

Carlan weaves her audience into the story with her oh so clever name drops and the appeals to romance readers with her tribute to Sylvia Days' "Bared To You". As the volume closes out Parker finds himself hiding his truth that opens up a space for mayhem & mistakes and leaving us wondering what Milan has to offer, starting with Parker learning to walk the walk...I anticipate much angst and drama (YAY!)

Audrey Carlan is amazing. She has a way of creating characters and situations that pull you in and doesn't let you go. I love how the story moves along with the guys and gives you more characters to love. This series is very well written and intriguing I can't wait for the rest.

These were an interesting set of novellas. We meet Parker, Bo, and Royce who are best friends and own International Guy who does unique tasks for people be it styling, being a muse or helping with finances of a company.

These novellas are different than the books I have read of Audrey's, they were quick, short and easy to read.

Beautiful cities, luxury galore, hot men, female empowerment and steamy times. This is the life!

I cannot express how excited I've been the whole time since I found out that the author of Calendar Girl had concocted an original story that reminisced of that wonderful novel. I loved the 12 novellas about a woman and her quest for love and self-improvement. Now, there is a turn of the screw with three men who set up a wildly successful company that caters to women's needs when it comes to self-confidence, power and worth. These men offer their highly qualified assets to help women become the better version of themselves.

In the process, of course, we get to know these handsome men and their own traits.

First, it is PARIS, The three men introduce themselves with their unique features and camaraderie. I loved that, as much as their wit and their sincere concern for women and their rights and happiness. Paris is a story full of flair, luxury, good food, and amazing sensuality that is not opposed to friendship beyond the realm of the flesh. I really liked how the timid heiress realized her dream of leading her father's company and flourished under the guidance of men who could see her true potential. It is fun, optimistic, and I could relate to the men's point of view at the same time that I could appreciate how well treated the woman was despite some hard circumstances. A wonderful initiation!

NEW YORK is filled to the brim with impressive landmarks, a meaningful message and steamy times that could lead to something true.

This second novella in the International Guy series takes Parker and his band of merry men to NY and into the embrace of his dream girl. I love all the women in this story. Wendy is the star of the show, what a winner! Skyler is genuine and looking for lost purpose. She's a great character and the perfect vehicle for an inspirational prompt for everybody to ponder about who we are to the world and to ourselves.

The passion is hot and welcome, and Parker might be falling for the first time if he lets himself. Again, I enjoyed the camaraderie with his two associates. I just hope the next adventure doesn't ruin what's been planted here ;-)

COPENHAGEN is taking us to Europe on a royal spree of exquisite manners, loyal subjects, two sisters and a handsome prince with a crown to bestow on a lucky lady. I really liked how the author manages what happened with Skyler on the previous novella and the seeds that were planted without diminishing the excitement of a new setting and a new challenge.

Here you can stroll through the streets of a Danish town and the luxurious halls of a royal castle while delving into the secrets of the heart of the family that inhabits them. The plot really grabbed me and I think Parker solved the problem at hand quite well. The royal couple was so cute! I also loved a certain reunion that was super hot and romantic. Though that cliffhanger had me chewing my nails :-D

As it is, I'm completely hooked on this series and eagerly awating the next volume.

So this was my first time reading Audrey Carlan and I absolutely loved this book! I loved the concept the business Parker, Royce and Bogart founded, and how it's geared to help women in a positive way. I like how the guys want to help Sophie when it comes to the business side of her company, although that's not what she's about, she only wants to focus on the creative side. And Parker seems to have developed an interest in her, but he's also got feelings for Skylar, supermodel and A-list actor. Is there a possibility that Parker might find his forever with this series?

I like how the guys are developed: they're each sweet, genuine, funny and still managing to maintain a bit of fratboy within themselves.

Oh, My My. This was a read which sometimes could be the sweetest...and then a bit confusing as to what direction it was going in. From the start, there was the good guy... a man who was loved by his family. He came from a solid background, had "salt of the Earth" parents and because of his dedication, smarts and savvy, created an extremely successful business with his two college buddies.

Each fella had their expertise and they assisted women in finding their inner goddesses. If there was a make over needed, one of the fellas had the gift of knowing just what wardrobe and hair would be perfect. If a woman needed to have assistance in the financial areas, the other guy was a numbers cruncher and would whip the companies into shape. And if the woman needed to find herself... find the person she was inside... the the main guy was the one to pull out all the stops and make her see how terrific she truly was.

The concept was there and so were the guys....We were given three stories all focused on our first fella Parker, the Dream maker. So Parker likes the women... and he is not shy about it. In fact, all the men in the company like them and sometimes it seems crossing the line between professional and personal gets blurry.

The first story has Parker and the team assisting an heiress with a perfume company left to her by her dad. Upon first meet, Parker and his very active dick, seem to be immediately interested in this woman. As the story unfolds, much happens between these two.

There are two other parts of this book leading up to the next book coming out. Each book will have multiple stories in them.
